Chapter 2119 - 54: From Today On, I’ll Be the Grey Dragon King

After that, amid that boundless, resplendent radiance, a beam of light leapt up and then fell in the direction of the Atlantian Megalopolis.

Carrying the ’Magnetic Monopole’, the two ’Ian’s fused, and at the Terra Dragon’s skull, they parted the innermost ’Cradle’ and obtained the Terra Dragon’s final Inheritance.

At this point, everything was clear.

The Terra Dragon’s Inheritance, aside from itself and the technologies representing the "Pre-Terra Epoch Civilization", had, additionally, those parts that were valuable to Ian, Inega II, and the others, which could be broadly divided into three parts.

The first part was the control technology related to the True Aether Furnace.

This part was handed over to the Duke of Steep Ridge, because the True Aether Furnace was in his hands; even if Inega II had it, it would be of no use to him. It was better to go with the flow and offer this favor, and they could also observe how the Duke of Steep Ridge used it, and whether any relevant data could be obtained.

The second part was the Terra Dragon core structure of the Imperial Capital.

This part was left to the Imperial Capital for its own use, optimizing the Capital’s energy structure and indirectly giving rise to a whole series of new megastructures of The Empire, such as The Unyielding Fortress and the final defense facilities; it could be considered the trump card of The Empire.

The last part was the Inheritance that Inega II had not taken away, the one left within the micro-Cradle.

What was stored within was, in fact, the simplest part, yet one whose concrete significance the vast majority of Terra People did not understand.

The Inheritance related to the [Space-Time Condensed Material].

Which was to say...

The raw material for the Cradle and the Infernal Heaven.

"Finally..."

At this moment, Ian let out a long sigh.

He had finally obtained the only Inheritance he truly needed, the only one he desired: the method of creating the Infernal Heaven and the Cradle, the manufacturing manual for the [Space-Time Condensed Material]!

Space-Time Condensed Material was, in truth, not a particularly complex technology.

Its essence was that, by using True Ether to warp Space-Time, one manufactured a "fault layer" whose complexity exceeded that of the critical singularity, a layer in which even light could only extend on without end, yet would never be able to reach a terminus—a "causal layer" capable of severing causality.

In reality, if we speak of Humans in the simple sense, they are incapable of comprehending genuine "causal" relations.

Causality is a kind of subjective cognition of Humans; it is not an actually existing objective entity.

To use a simple example: sunlight shines upon the earth and heats a stone.

The simplest causal relationship is: [Sunlight shining causes the stone to heat up]. Simple and plain.

But is it the truth? Strictly speaking, not quite; this is not a causal relationship, but merely describes the relation between two phenomena, crude and lacking in detail.

In deeper analysis, the essence of [Sunlight shining causes the stone to heat up] should be: [Light radiation accelerates the motion of the molecules of matter; the manifestation of molecular motion on the surface of the matter is the transfer of thermal radiation, that is, heating].

This sounds as if it has already drawn very near to Logos; this causal relation should be very close to the objective fact.

But is that really the case? "Radiation intensifying molecular motion" is still only an observational result of Humans. Then why does thermal energy accelerate molecular motion rather than reduce it?

This is the conclusion obtained from hundreds of millions of observations by Humans; it is a kind of "empiricism". Yet the true underlying principle, the genuine causal relation—that entity named [Absolute Truth]—is, for Humans, untouchable and difficult to perceive, like the moon reflected in water, like a flower seen through mist, merely the shadow in the heart.

But the Star Gods are a race that can concretely behold Logos.

They can directly see all genuine causal relationships—and naturally, can sever them as well.

The "Cradle" and "Infernal Heaven" manufactured using Space-Time Condensed Material—no matter what name one uses to refer to them, their essence is the same: their essence is to manufacture, within one universe, a fault in which no causal relations exist, to create a "Microcosm".

Between the inside and outside of the Microcosm there is no connection whatsoever; even gravity cannot penetrate it, and The End cannot detect it. Unless one uses a naked singularity to cut it open, otherwise, even if The End were to slam into it head-on, it would merely push the Microcosm aside, without hindering the things within in the slightest.

Such a Microcosm would continue to exist even if the Great Universe were destroyed, and moreover, because of the existence of the Perpetual Motion Machine, it would exist forever and ever.

This is where the Star Gods surpass The End, the fortress constructed from those three victories.

The universes and lives that are protected by the Cradle will never fall into The End; they have deprived The End of the possibility of growth, continuing to suppress it as an "incomplete Logos".

Only, this Space-Time Condensed Material has one small problem.

It requires the propulsion of "Star God infinite force" in order to fully exert its function.

Seeing this, Ian almost lost his composure.

—The Cradle is currently sealed; only by using Space-Time Condensed Material to patch the walls can the people inside be permitted to advance to Star Gods.
