Chapter 502: Servant's Flesh
Chapter 502: Servant's Flesh
The Coronet did not have complete trust in Snape.
He brewed the potion himself.
As expected, it was a soul fragment stored in the Ravenclaw diadem. I wonder if it really had an effect on increasing wisdom. He had deceived everyone.
The skeleton of old Tom Riddle had long since sunk into the crucible.
Crown took the vial from Snape's hand. He shook the bottle and the liquid turned a beautiful platinum color.
"As expected, it is the blood of the Unicorn King..."
He opened the bottle, took a drop and tasted it.
My heart nearly jumped out of my throat.
Weird patterns appeared on Cedric's body, and after a moment, they covered his entire body.
"The unicorn's curse is well-deserved. Unfortunately, the first person to suffer is this little boy..."
Cedric's face turned blue, and he was obviously showing symptoms of poisoning.
My eyes were filled with the pleasure of revenge, but there was no guilt.
"The girl you always wanted to protect doesn't seem to care about you..." Guanmian said to himself, "I thought she would let you go..."
Miraculously, the marks on his face faded a little.
"Oh, the curse comes from the heart of the one who casts the curse... For the rest of your life, you should pray for Aurora's forgiveness..."
Guanmian spoke beautifully.
His brazen remarks are truly astonishing.
He induced Cedric to participate in my kidnapping, and if Cedric died because of the curse, the blame would be put on me.
Regardless of Cedric's original intentions, I no longer consider him my friend since he joined the Crown's camp.
From what the Coronet said, he still retained some of his personal consciousness, just like Professor Quirrell in the original book.
Cedric helped bring the Coronet back to life at my expense.
Before that, the Crown had contacted Snape and revealed the plan.
As soon as Snape saw through the Crown Plan, he helped Harry exchange identities with me and obtained some of my blood to prevent being exposed.
"Aurora, your power has increased... Even without the form of a unicorn, you still have the power to curse..." Draco explained.
Guanman poured the bottle of platinum liquid into the boiling crucible.
The liquid changed several times and turned into blood red.
Still lacking the servants' flesh...
"Master, please let me do it..."
A hissing sound came from not far away. It was Nagini!
Snape instinctively held his wand across his chest.
Guanmian's expression visibly relaxed.
His feelings for Nagini were unique.
In Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, Nagini is a woman who, due to a family curse, can only survive in the form of a snake.
Nagini crouched beside him, opened her bloody mouth and bit off a piece of flesh from his body.
The wound was bloody.
She was covered in skin and flesh, and looked extremely bloody.
I could never forgive her for the way she had bitten Snape.
She endured the pain and took the piece of meat into Crown's hand.
"Nagini, you will get the reward you deserve..."
Unlike the transparent arm that Voldemort made for Peter Pettigrew in the original book, in a moment, Nagini's wound, at least in appearance, had recovered.
But the giant snake still looked listless due to excessive blood loss, so she just curled up quietly beside it.
"Master, it's done..."
Snape looked closely at the liquid in the cauldron and whispered a warning.
The potion in the crucible seemed to be boiling, and smoke was rising.
