Karl and Heimda sat aboard the spaceship, watching the star system collapse. Karl slowly spoke, "If there truly is an afterlife, I hope I can join the Underworld sooner, or even appear directly in the Wolf Clan..."
"What happened?" Heimda glanced at him. "The wolf clan didn't have a very happy early life... those ancestors paved the way with blood and sacrifice..."
“I witnessed the afterglow of the underworld, but not its rise... So... I want to witness its rise... Is that not allowed?” Karl replied.
"Whatever..." Heimda suddenly thought of something and took out a pen and paper to write something.
What are you writing?
"Write something about the rise of the underworld... leave a memento, so you can refer to it later."
“You can’t just write about its rise…” Karl shook his head as he looked at what he had written. “If you’re going to write about the rise of the Underworld, you can’t just write about its rise. You have to write about the suffering the Underworld endured, the warriors who sacrificed themselves for it… you have to write about the malice of other races towards the Underworld… you have to write about the injustice the world inflicts on the Underworld…”
“Here, take this pen, you write this, this is for you to get… as if you’ve seen it before…” Heimda tossed the paper and pen to Karl.
Carl took it, smiled, and said, "Never mind, maybe in the next life..."
"Old friend, see you in the underworld..."
Heimda glanced at the predicted time of the cosmic explosion and nodded: "See you in the underworld..."
Seconds later, the power of the cosmic explosion completely engulfed the entire void plane. The empty universe was silent, save for a dazzling display like fireworks, and countless moments of devastation...
As a being of will, Bai Xiao quietly watched the demise of his warriors, then turned his gaze to the few void creatures.
"I'm sorry... I can't let you make the universe like that again... From now on, I will accompany you... forever." Bai Xiao's voice finally reached the void creatures, and then... the fusion of their wills occurred. His body seemed to extend several streams of light, which flowed into the void creatures respectively...
Conceptual matters, indeed, must be resolved by concepts themselves...

universe.
This is the universe for which the underworld fought; this is our monument.
At the edge of the universe, a sturdy stone tablet inscribed with these words records this in different languages...
...
Countless trillions of years later, a civilization called the Netherworld Star...
"The law of the jungle is the truest law of this universe! In this chaotic and disordered universe, my Underworld should be the pioneer in establishing an order among the strong!"
A man in silver-black armor was rallying the morale of countless soldiers, while behind him, a man who looked like an innocent young man was quietly holding a book and a pen. He first glanced at the scene in front of him, and then quickly made notes in the book.
Rise of the Underworld, Rise of the Empire
The book's title records it as such.

ps:
Thank you to all the readers who have followed the extra chapters this far. I prefer this ending, even though it's not perfect. But... there aren't that many perfect endings.
Overall, it's pretty perfect.
This is also the author's first completed book on Tomato, so let's commemorate the completion date.
