Chapter 212 We're Partners!

"Phew, finally rid of them." Guo Yao wiped the sweat from her forehead, a tired smile on her face.

"Yes, we owe it all to everyone this time." Li An looked gratefully at the Straw Hat Pirates.

Luffy grinned: "Don't mention it, we're buddies!"

Zoro looked at Lian and nodded slightly: "Your command ability is good. I will trust you more next time we encounter danger."

Nami rolled her eyes at Li An: "Hmph, I hope you won't cause us so much trouble next time."

Li An smiled sheepishly: "Don't worry, I'll do my best."

The night was as dark as ink, thick and impenetrable. The waves rhythmically lapped against the ship's hull, producing a deep, resonant sound, like the heartbeat of the ocean. The Straw Hat Pirates' ship moved slowly across the boundless sea, its sails billowing in the sea breeze, like a giant bird spreading its wings to take flight. Moonlight spilled onto the deck, shrouding everything in a silvery veil, tranquil and beautiful.

Li An leaned against the ship's railing, holding a steaming cup of coffee in his hands, gazing into the distance, his thoughts drifting to Guo Yao beside him. Guo Yao, dressed in a white dress, looked like a fairy descending to earth in the moonlight. She gracefully walked to Li An's side, took his arm, and her face was filled with a happy smile.

"Li An, what interesting things do you think we'll encounter on this voyage...?" Guo Yao's voice, as clear as a silver bell, broke the silence of the night.

Li An turned his head and looked at Guo Yao's innocent face. The corners of his mouth turned up slightly, revealing a gentle smile: "No matter what happens, having you by my side is enough." As he spoke, he gently pinched Guo Yao's nose, his eyes full of doting affection.

Guo Yao blushed slightly, gently slapped Li An's hand away, and said reproachfully, "You're just trying to coax me." The two looked at each other and smiled, their laughter echoing in the night sky, filled with sweetness.

However, in this seemingly peaceful moment, danger was lurking. A group of ghostly pirates, Blackbeard Teach's men, silently boarded the ship. They were dressed in black night clothes, their faces covered with black masks, revealing only pairs of eyes that gleamed coldly. The leader was a tall man who held a sharp dagger in his hand, the blade gleaming coldly in the moonlight.

They crept stealthily toward Li An and Guo Yao, each step careful not to make a sound. Suddenly, the sea breeze picked up, making the sails howl and masking their barely audible footsteps.

When they were only a few steps away from Li An and Guo Yao, Li An suddenly sensed something amiss. His eyes sharpened instantly, like a wary cheetah. He instinctively shielded Guo Yao behind him and shouted, "Watch out! Enemies!"

Almost simultaneously, Blackbeard Teach's men surged forward like a tidal wave. The leader brandished a dagger, aiming for Lian, who quickly dodged to the side, the dagger grazing his clothes.

"Guo Yao, hide behind me!" Li An shouted, drawing a long sword from his waist, its blade gleaming coldly, as he confronted the enemy.

Guo Yao's face showed a look of fear, but she still tried to remain calm, tightly gripping Li An's clothes and hiding behind him.

"Who are you? Why are you attacking us?" Li An's voice was icy cold, like a chilling wind from hell.

Chapter 213 Running Wild on Our Ship

The man in the lead let out a sinister laugh: "We are Blackbeard's men, ordered to take this woman away." As he spoke, he pointed his dagger at Guo Yao, who was hiding behind Li An.

Li An's eyes instantly turned fierce, and a strong killing intent emanated from him: "If you want to take her away, you'll have to step over my dead body first!"

Just then, Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and the others heard the commotion and rushed over. Upon seeing the scene before him, Luffy's smile vanished instantly, replaced by a serious expression: "Hey! You guys, how dare you cause trouble on our ship!"

Zoro, wielding three swords and with a cold, stern gaze, strode forward step by step. His imposing presence caused even his enemies to involuntarily take a few steps back: "It seems another fierce battle is about to begin today."

Nami stood to the side, her brows furrowed, her hand gently stroking the weapon at her waist: "These guys are such a nuisance."

Blackbeard Teach's men showed no sign of backing down when they saw the Straw Hat Pirates arrive. They exchanged glances, then charged at Leanne and the others once more.

The battle erupted instantly, a whirlwind of swordplay and deafening shouts. Lian wielded his longsword, each strike carrying a sharp, forceful momentum, forcing his enemies to retreat. Luffy, like a nimble monkey, weaved through the fray, his fists landing relentlessly with dull thuds. Zoro's three swords gleamed coldly in the moonlight, each swing inflicting injury. Nami, meanwhile, used her Clima-Tact to create various weather effects, obscuring the enemy's vision.

However, Blackbeard Teach's men were no pushovers either. They cooperated seamlessly, providing cover for each other and causing considerable trouble for Li An and his group. In the fierce battle, the enemy gradually distracted Li An and his companions. The leader seized an opportunity and suddenly charged towards Guo Yao.

"Oh no!" Li An was startled. He wanted to stop them, but it was too late.

Guo Yao watched in terror as the enemy charged at her, her body trembling slightly. Just as the enemy was about to grab her, she suddenly closed her eyes and silently prayed.

However, the enemy did not touch her. At that critical moment, a large black hand suddenly reached out from the darkness, grabbed Guo Yao, and then quickly disappeared into the darkness.

"Guo Yao!" Li An roared in despair, chasing after the direction Guo Yao had disappeared in. But the enemy had vanished without a trace, leaving only an empty darkness.

Li An stood there, stunned, his eyes filled with despair and anger. His fists were clenched so tightly that his nails dug deep into his palms, and blood seeped from between his fingers.

Luffy and the others also gathered around, their faces showing shock and anger.

"Damn it! These guys actually kidnapped Guo Yao!" Luffy shouted angrily, his fists waving in the air as if he wanted to smash the air itself.

A cold glint flashed in Zoro's eyes: "Blackbeard Teach, we will definitely settle this score with you!"

Nami bit her lip: "The most important thing now is to find Guo Yao's whereabouts."

Li An slowly turned around, his eyes filled with determination: "I will definitely rescue Guo Yao, even if it means chasing her to the ends of the earth!" His voice was deep and powerful, as if it were a vow from the depths of his soul.

Chapter 214 I will definitely save you

The sea breeze grew stronger, whipping the sails into a fluttering roar. The waves surged and crashed against the ship's hull, as if enraged by this sudden turn of events. Dark clouds gathered in the sky, obscuring the moonlight, and the whole world seemed to be plunged into darkness.

As Li An gazed at the dark sea, the anger in his heart burned even more fiercely. He recalled every moment he had spent with Guo Yao—those sweet instants, those gentle smiles—and now they pierced his heart like sharp blades.

"Guo Yao, wait for me, I will definitely rescue you," Li An silently prayed in his heart.

He took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. He knew this wasn't the time to act impulsively; he needed to think calmly and find Guo Yao's whereabouts.

"Luffy, Zoro, Nami, thank you for helping me." Li An turned around and looked at the Straw Hat Pirates, his eyes filled with gratitude.

"What are you saying? We're partners!" Luffy patted Lian on the shoulder, a determined smile on his face.

“That’s right, we will definitely help you rescue Guo Yao.” Zoro nodded, his eyes filled with trust.

Nami stepped forward and handed Lian a map: "This is a map of this sea area. Let's see where to start our search."

Li An took the map and examined it carefully. His fingers moved slowly across the map, a thoughtful look in his eyes.

“Judging from the enemy’s movements, they are likely heading in this direction,” Li An said, pointing to a point on the map.

"Then let's set off right away!" Luffy said impatiently.

So, the Straw Hat Pirates' ship quickly changed course and headed in the direction Lian had indicated. The ship cut through the waves on the turbulent sea, the sea breeze howling as if cheering them on.

As the ship moved forward, the surrounding environment grew increasingly eerie. Dark clouds filled the sky, threatening to press down at any moment. A thick fog blanketed the sea, obscuring the path ahead. Waves crashed against the ship's hull, producing a dull, terrifying sound, like the roar of hell.

Suddenly, a dilapidated boat appeared ahead. Its hull was covered in moss and barnacles, indicating it had been abandoned for a long time. There wasn't a single light on board; only deathly silence.

"Be careful, there might be an ambush ahead," Li An said warily.

Everyone gripped their weapons tightly and cautiously approached the abandoned ship. As they drew near, a stench of decay assaulted their nostrils, making them want to vomit.

"What's that smell?" Nami asked, covering her nose and frowning.

"It smells like a corpse." Zoro's eyes showed a hint of wariness, and his hand gripped the hilt of his sword tightly.

Just then, a sinister laugh echoed from the ship. A figure slowly emerged from the darkness—it was one of Blackbeard Teach's men.

"You've finally arrived. We've been waiting for you for a long time." His voice was hoarse and sinister, as if it came from a grave.

Li An's eyes instantly turned fierce: "Hand over Guo Yao!"

"If you want people, then take them by your own ability!" the enemy said, suddenly pulling out a rocket launcher from behind him and firing a shell at the Straw Hat Pirates' ship.

"Get out of the way!" Li An shouted loudly.

Chapter 215 Only Enemies

Everyone scrambled to get out of the way, and the cannonballs grazed the ship's side before landing in the sea, splashing up huge sprays of water.

"Damn it!" Luffy shouted angrily, leaping up and charging towards the enemy.

"Luffy, watch out!" Zoro and Nami shouted at the same time.

However, Luffy ignored them. His eyes were only on the enemy, and his mind was consumed by a single thought: to avenge Guo Yao.

The enemy saw Luffy charging towards him and a cold smile appeared on his face. He quickly drew a pistol from his waist and fired at Luffy.

Luffy skillfully dodged bullets in mid-air, his speed dazzling the eye. Just as the enemy prepared to fire again, Luffy was already in front of him.

"Rubber-Rubber...Machine Gun!" Luffy shouted, his fists raining down on the enemy.

The enemy was beaten so badly that he was unable to fight back. His body kept retreating until he finally fell to the ground.

However, at that moment, a group of enemies surged out from all sides of the ship. They were armed with various weapons and surrounded Luffy and his crew.

"Looks like we're in for a big fight today," Zoro said, drawing his three swords.

"Hmph, these guys aren't enough for me." Luffy stretched his limbs and a confident smile appeared on his face.

Li An took a deep breath, a hint of calm in his eyes. He knew this battle would be extremely difficult, but he would never back down.

"Everyone be careful, don't underestimate the enemy." Li An said, brandishing his longsword and charging towards the enemy.

The battle erupted again, both sides locked in fierce combat. Lian moved with ease among the enemies, his longsword wielded with ferocious power, each strike inflicting injury. Luffy, like a raging beast, relentlessly rained down blows upon his foes with dull thuds. Zoro's three swords gleamed coldly in the moonlight, each swing striking fear into his enemies. Nami, meanwhile, used her Clima-Tact to create various weather effects, disrupting the enemy's vision.

However, the enemy's numbers were simply too great. They poured out of the ship in an endless stream. In the fierce battle, Lian and his companions gradually found themselves in a difficult situation.

"Damn it, how come there are so many of these guys!" Luffy shouted angrily, his forehead covered in sweat.

"Hold on, everyone! We'll definitely defeat them!" Li An shouted, his voice filled with unwavering determination...

Just then, Li An suddenly spotted an opening in the enemy's defenses. A glint flashed in his eyes, and he swiftly charged toward the opening.

"Now!" Li An shouted, thrusting his longsword fiercely at the enemy.

Caught off guard by Li An's sudden attack, the enemy retreated in disarray. Li An seized the opportunity to launch his own attack, his longsword flashing among the enemy like the scythe of death.

Under Lian's leadership, the Straw Hat Pirates rallied. Working together, they gradually turned the tide of the battle. The enemy's defenses began to crumble, and they fled in disarray.
