Chapter 40: A Little Pride

But at that moment, Cinderella suddenly frowned slightly, looked at Loki, and said slowly, "I'll leave it to you in a bit."

But the next second, Cidline flicked her right hand, and a silver curtain of water rose up, instantly blocking the flames. Although the intense heat reached Loki's face, not a single flame escaped Cidline's magic.

"It's up to you," Cidel said slowly. "Dealing with a crippled red dragon... shouldn't be a problem, right?"

"Teacher...?!" Before Loki could react, Cidlin flicked her finger, and a stream of silver water enveloped Loki and the Crimson Dragon, turning them into a gladiatorial arena with only the two of them.

As their eyes met, Luo Qixi pursed her lips and gripped her staff tightly.

The next second, the red dragon opened its mouth and spat out another mouthful of flame.

Without hesitation, Loki cast a rapid water prison spell on herself, while simultaneously increasing the amount of magic she poured into it. A ring of water appeared at the tip of her staff, surrounding Loki and blocking the gushing flames.

The steam waves caused Loki's blue hair to fly up and down, but it did nothing to affect the staff she was holding.

"Ice Spear Snowstorm!" As she chanted, four or five ice spears appeared around her and then spun towards the red dragon.

"Pfft pfft pfft!"

The ice spear pierced the red dragon's body, causing it to let out a piercing roar, but even so, it was still difficult to kill it with an attack of this magnitude.

The next second, the red dragon roared and charged at Luo Qixi. The commotion was so great that it shook the ground, forcing Luo Qixi to quickly hold her staff horizontally.

"Earth mound".
