Chapter 55 Sneak Attack, a Disregard for Martial Morality
Chapter 55 Sneak Attack, a Disregard for Martial Morality
"Does that mean they're related?" Agent Hill guessed.
Nick Fury shook his head. "No, it means he might very well be Spider-Man."
Upon hearing this, Agent Hill exclaimed in surprise.
"What?"
The sudden sound drew Mark's attention.
Agent Hill quickly lowered his head.
Mark shook his head. "Crazy," he muttered.
Then I stopped paying attention.
Agent Hill said in a low voice.
"Commander, are you sure?"
"This idea has been in my mind for a long time."
Nick Fury said, "They were both patients, both had superpowers, and both encountered the Green Goblin and Professor Kurt."
I don't believe this is a coincidence.
"Did you send someone to Parker's house to look for clues?" Agent Hill asked.
"Natasha has already taken action."
Nick Fury glanced at the time. "We should have results soon."
-
On the other side, Mark in the cabin listened intently, a slight smile playing on his lips.
"Heh, no wonder he's called Braised Egg Head, he can do such a shameless thing."
Wade asked curiously, "What did you say?"
"It's nothing, a mouse just got into the house."
Mark gave a perfunctory reply.
With his superhuman senses, he certainly heard their conversation.
But because of the interference from the electrical noise, he couldn't hear it clearly.
But that's enough.
Fortunately, during the time Peter was at S.H.I.E.L.D., he hid the Peter Pan suit.
Since Peter refused to reveal his identity, Mark naturally had to help him cover it up.
This is the bare minimum of respect.
What puzzled him was why Spider-Man was a patient.
Yes, disability is also a disease.
This explains it.
Mark knew very well that Spider-Man wouldn't be appearing in this operation.
Even though Peter was keeping an eye on him and wanted to help him secretly, Peter didn't have the money to buy a plane ticket.
Staying under Peter's protection indefinitely is not a solution.
This time, Mark is going to do it himself!
Thinking of this, Mark raised his hand to call Tony's private flight attendant.
"Hey, ma'am, give me a plate of fried rice with eggs."
The flight attendant approached gracefully, maintaining her smile, and said, "Excuse me, sir, we don't have rice here."
"What does Tony like to eat?" Mark asked again.
"steak."
"Okay, I'll take two."
Mark finished speaking.
Wade shook his head and said, "No need to order mine, I like pasta."
Mark glanced at the other person sideways. "I ate two portions myself, I didn't order any for you."
Wade: "......."
Not long after, Mark finished his dinner, adjusted his chair, and fell into a deep sleep.
I don't know how much time has passed.
The aircraft shuddered as the alarm sounded.
"What happened?"
Mark was awakened by the noise.
Inside the cabin, several flight attendants screamed in terror.
The captain hurriedly ran towards Mark and the others.
"The plane's wing has a problem and it cannot make an emergency landing."
The moment he finished speaking, flames erupted outside the window, and the plane's wing was completely destroyed.
The powerless plane tilted and plummeted toward the ground.
"We've been attacked!"
Wade leaned out the window and noticed the fighter jets disappearing into the night sky through the clouds.
"It's a Stark Industries fighter jet. I saw it at a Stark press conference," he exclaimed.
Before he could react, Agent Hill had already ordered all the parachutes to be located.
"There's no time left, jump now!"
She first arranged for the flight attendants and the captain.
They were all trained, so she didn't need to worry about them.
She was worried about Mark.
Even at this point, Mark remained calm.
"What are you standing there for? Here you go."
She tossed the parachute to Mark.
Mark casually handed the parachute to Wade.
"Take it."
Wade didn't stand on ceremony and quickly put on his parachute.
"Then what are you going to do?"
"Whatever."
"How can this be done so casually?"
"Okay, I don't actually know how to skydive." Mark shrugged.
Just as he was about to display his dragon wings, Agent Hill grabbed Mark and held him in front of her without hesitation, binding him with nylon straps.
"I'll help you," Agent Hill whispered in Mark's ear.
Mark paused, just as he was about to draw the Dragon Slayer Sword and unleash the Dragon Wings.
"Okay, thank you."
He gave up on the idea of putting on a show.
Mmm, it's so soft!
He was airsick and leaned weakly on Agent Hill's shoulder.
"Hoo hoo~~"
As the passageway at the rear of the cabin opened, amidst howling winds, Agent Hill, carrying Mark, leaped from the sky.
Wade, who was right behind him, looked on with envy.
"Actually, I don't have to skydive."
He tightened the nylon strap and then the two of them jumped down.
Soon, the group landed safely in a desert.
The plane in the night sky crashed diagonally into a distant valley, its sudden burst of flames engulfing everything around it.
Seeing this, Agent Hill raised his hand and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
She tapped her headset lightly. "Commander, we've crashed. Stark Industries fighters ambushed us."
As she spoke, she unfastened the clasp with one hand.
But Mark remained with his eyes closed, nestled in her arms.
Hill: "........"
Nick Fury then spoke up, "It seems there's someone within Stark Industries trying to stop us."
"I don't think he's one of Stark's own people."
After Agent Hill pushed Mark away, he guessed:
"Otherwise, they wouldn't have used Stark's weapons in front of us; it's likely a tactic to mislead us."
"I will investigate this matter. You are currently in the desert near Tehran, not far from your destination."
"clear."
As Agent Hill reported, Mark was also determining his location.
"You bastard, are you sure the Ten Commandments are in Afghanistan?" He pulled Wade over.
Wade brushed the sand off his clothes. "Of course, trust my connections."
"Very good, we need to speed things up."
Mark looked into the distance; the sky was beginning to lighten.
"If someone is stopping us, then Tony is in even greater danger."
Just as he finished speaking, a firework suddenly appeared in the sky.
"Is someone setting off fireworks here?"
Mark asked curiously, while Wade, standing to the side, was already sweating profusely.
"Oh shit, get out of here! It's fighter jets, they're still chasing us!!"
"What?"
Agent Hill turned pale upon hearing this.
"Get cover!"
Before anyone could react, a shell was launched toward their location.
"Boom~~"
The flames streaked through the air at breakneck speed, and it was too late for anyone to dodge.
Just as the shadow of death loomed overhead, a dark red light burst forth.
Then, endless holy light condensed into a roaring demonic dragon.
The sword that slays dragons!
The dragon roars!
"roar!!"
"boom!!!"
The roaring dragon intercepted the incoming cannonballs first, and the two collided in mid-air, unleashing a terrifying shockwave.
Amidst the swirling sandstorm, a towering figure stood blocking the way for the crowd.
"It's...him."
Amidst the raging sandstorm, Agent Hill, covered in dust and dirt, could only see Mark.
He's glowing!
Wade clenched his fists and shouted excitedly:
"Oh my god, Paladin from New York, you are my god~~~"
Amid Wade's screams, dust surged, and the holy light surged once more.
"boom!!"
At that moment, the dragon's wings dispersed the flying sand, and the knight, enveloped in holy light, soared into the sky.
He raised the dragon-slaying sword high.
In Mark's eyes, the speeding fighter jet resembled an evil dragon.
As long as it's an evil dragon, it can...
Slide shovel!
