Chapter 4 Element Selection
Chapter 4 Element Selection
Families and territories are the main sources of points in the shop.
The points that can be obtained each day are extremely few. Each level 7 warrior can provide Karl with 1 point per day, while those who are not level 7 warriors can provide even fewer points per day.
A level 3 warrior can provide 0.01 points per day. There are about 20,000 level 3 warriors in Xinghuo Town. They are the main backbone of various teams, such as the security team. The minimum standard is level 3 warriors. Most of them are veterans from the battlefield, and a small number are talented young men.
Within the security team, there are other departments, such as those responsible for patrols, those handling residents' daily affairs, and armed members who sweep away scattered monsters around the town.
These are the cornerstones of the town and the key to Karl's points. Level 3 and above warriors, and level 4 warriors, generally serve as captains or minor leaders, providing 0.03 points per day. There are only about a thousand of them in Starfire Town.
As for level 5 and level 6 warriors, their numbers are even smaller.
After all, in Karl's development of the town, as long as one's strength reaches the level of a third-level warrior, there will be sufficiently generous treatment. Given such treatment, there will naturally be far fewer people willing to train hard.
Level 6 warriors represent the limit for ordinary people; those who can reach this level are extremely rare. It is precisely because of the scarcity of Level 6 warriors that the value of Level 7 warriors is highlighted.
A level seven warrior is someone who can be granted a title in the kingdom, enough to become a minor noble.
Just like the captain of the Xinghuo Town security team, who is a level seven warrior.
Don't be fooled by the fact that it's just a position as the head of the security team. In the entire Xinghuo Town, his status is enough to rank among the top five. This is a large town with hundreds of thousands of people. If we were to compare it to the bureaucratic system of my previous life, it would probably be no less than the third or fourth-ranking official in a county.
Even within Starfire Town, the only ones above the head of the security team are a few level seven warriors from the Talos family. This is only because of their lordly bloodline; if judged by actual responsibility, their status is probably only below Lin Talos.
Karl set the high benefits in Starfire Town to be available only to level three warriors in order to maximize the points.
After all, a six-year-old child can become a level three warrior in twenty years of hard training. It would probably take thirty or forty years of training after that, and the benefits would only be twice as much as a level three warrior. Setting the bar too high would not be worthwhile for Karl.
I can earn about 300 points a day, which is a drop in the ocean compared to the millions of points of elemental power, but I can manage to get through it over time.
The daily points earned are few, but there are still daily expenses.
For example, the daily 2% cultivation bonus for oneself is something Karl stopped doing after reaching the peak of cultivation. In addition to this, adding cultivation bonuses to family members also requires points, and similarly, adding cultivation bonuses to residents of the territory also requires points.
However, Karl was quite selective in this regard. Either the person himself had good talent, after all, a level six warrior is the limit for ordinary people, but that doesn't mean everyone can reach that limit.
Karl is generous to residents with good talent, providing them with short-term training boosts. In addition, he provides comprehensive training boosts to the level six warriors in his territory, with the aim of enabling some of them to break through to level seven.
Level 7 warriors earn 1 point per day, and their lifespan is two to three hundred years, which Karl can earn back sooner or later.
Besides cultivation and blessing, reducing diseases, ensuring favorable weather, and increasing profits within the territory all require points to activate.
In reality, Karl actually saves very little; on average, he only accumulates a little over a hundred points per day.
Karl would need more than twenty years to afford that amount of elemental power, which was worth millions.
Without a good living environment, Starfire Town's population wouldn't reach nearly a million. Without enough people, the number of level three warriors would decrease drastically, which would actually reduce Karl's points gain.
"It won't be long."
Seeing his points gradually approaching one million, Karl was already considering his next training session.
Karl knew very well that his talent was low, and without a cheat code, he would never have a chance to break through to the seventh level warrior in his lifetime. So, for more than a hundred years, he had long given up on his cultivation.
In his daily cultivation, he mainly relied on the AFK system to increase his battle qi, while he practiced some battle techniques. However, after becoming a Saint, he needed to cultivate the power of laws while accumulating battle qi.
Having knowledge of the Panlong Universe, Karl knew very well that the complete laws belonged to the level of Great Perfection, and only high-level gods could use even a fraction of them.
These are merely rudimentary applications, yet they are euphemistically called profound and mysterious. In reality, they are simply breaking down the complete power to make it easier for those with insufficient understanding to comprehend.
The cultivation of the Holy Realm is about comprehending the elemental power of heaven and earth, and relying on these elemental powers to form profound mysteries.
"The training ahead will probably be even more difficult."
Karl was still clear about his own position: he was just an ordinary human with great power, capable only of using it but lacking the ability to conduct in-depth research, so the existence of territory was essential.
"There are seven elemental laws alone, plus four more rules of power. How should I choose my path?"
If Karl had any slightly useful talent, he would definitely have chosen to comprehend the power of multiple elements and eventually become a god-level powerhouse with multiple attributes. But in reality, he was just a fool, and without a cheat code, he was nothing.
Moreover, in the Panlong Universe, the elemental forces are clearly distinct; wind is wind, and water is water. Unless the soul mutates, there is no fusion of different elements.
This is also a kind of fairness to those who lack talent. After all, becoming a god with an extra element is really just about having an extra life.
However, even for eternal god-level powerhouses, resources are limited. Even with multiple clones, they can only cultivate one strongest god clone.
Once he loses his strongest divine avatar, his status will plummet, and he won't even have the chance to take revenge.
"So what I really need is a sufficiently powerful elemental force."
Fortunately, Karl's memory improved dramatically after becoming a level nine warrior, and events from over two hundred years ago seemed like yesterday.
Among the eleven laws of power, some are strong and some are weak. Some are good at everything, but none of them can reach the ultimate level. Others reach the ultimate level of elemental power, but have some shortcomings in other aspects.
