"Assassin, is all you can do is throw these toy blocks?"
The debris piled up at Lancer's feet proved that these things, which would have crushed a person into mincemeat, were like toys to her.
Ignoring Lancer's taunts, Assassin simply threw whatever he could find in front of him until only the ordinary woman remained.
The woman was utterly terrified as she watched the two monsters fight before her. She simply lay there blankly, a fishy-smelling, unidentified liquid flowing from her short skirt.
She seemed to know her fate, and looked at the black monster in front of her in fear.
But Assassin only glanced at her before quickly running away. Ms. Suzuki took the opportunity to cover her mouth and quickly hide to the side.
Seeing that his prey was still trying to escape, Lancer did not hesitate to throw the spear in his hand, creating a series of sonic booms.
The spear tip pierced the wall, severing the steel bars inside, but Assassin managed to dodge the fatal attack, though it momentarily slowed his progress.
Lancer seized the fleeting opportunity, wielding another spear with a whoosh, splattering blood onto the ceiling. Despite his injury, Assassin did not back down; he took the chance to kick her in the ribs, sending her flying and creating distance once again.
The office was a complete mess. Ms. Suzuki huddled in a corner, watching the scene in terror, too afraid to make a sound. The shock of the battle between the two monsters far exceeded her comprehension, even making her forget her fear for a moment.
The magical energy supplied by the Master was rapidly repairing Assassin's damaged body, but such a large wound would not be easy to fully heal.
Blood soaked through his black robe, yet his movements remained swift as the wind, though marked by obvious sluggishness and pain, making it difficult to move.
The battle between the two Servants did not elicit cheers from the audience; instead, it brought them terrifying images of blood, destruction, and death. The atmosphere at the scene plummeted, and everyone was gripped by fear.
However, in such times of crisis, there are always some reckless individuals who want to play the hero.
Whether out of a sense of justice, a desire to impress a female colleague they admired, or the sight of the black-robed monster in front of them already severely injured.
It's unclear where the courage came from, but this 'righteous' person secretly took a box cutter and came up behind Assassin, intending to use his human body to accomplish the feat of killing a Heroic Spirit.
However, before he could even touch Assassin, he was pinned to the wall by three throwing knives. Assassin had thrown them with a swift, fluid motion, precise and deadly.
The eyes of this 'righteous' man were filled with disbelief and fear, and blood gushed from his wounds, staining the walls red.
Immediately afterward, Assassin rushed to him, plunged his hand into his chest, ripped out his heart, and shoved it into his own mouth.
This scene instilled even greater fear in the remaining people, and an atmosphere of despair permeated the entire room. No one dared to try to be a hero anymore; they only thought about how to escape this hellish place.
Lancer and Assassin continued their fight, completely ignoring the existence of these ordinary people.
The battle between the two Servants gradually spread from the upper-level office to higher levels. Broken walls and shards of glass flew everywhere during their clash, and the lights inside the building flickered due to the fluctuations of the battle. The air was filled with the smell of gunpowder and dust.
Assassin uses the wind to dodge attacks and moves swiftly through narrow spaces, leaping between walls and weaving through shadows to find an opportunity to strike back.
Lancer, on the other hand, pressed on relentlessly with overwhelming power and speed. Each swing of his spear generated a strong gust of wind, easily shredding the surrounding obstacles.
They fought their way to the top floor of the building, destroying countless compartments and facilities, until they finally arrived at a closed rooftop passageway.
The steel door swung open with a light tap from Assassin, and the two rushed to the top floor. The midday sun was dazzling and scorching, and the strong wind blowing in their faces carried the chill of the high altitude.
The rooftop was quite spacious, but the surrounding railings had been destroyed in the previous battle. The two Servants faced each other on this open battlefield, their eyes filled with killing intent.
A cold smile flashed in Lancer's eyes, and the spear in her hand hummed slightly, as if responding to its master's fighting spirit. She suddenly accelerated towards Assassin, the spear aimed straight for his vitals. The wind howled, and the air seemed to be sliced apart.
The two exchanged blows, their swords flashing, and the rooftop of the skyscraper seemed to transform into a brutal arena.
As the battle intensified, the ground was littered with broken concrete blocks and bent metal railings.

Just then, Lancer seized an opening, her spear suddenly thrusting out, aimed straight at Assassin's chest. Assassin had no way to dodge and could only barely turn to the side, but the spear tip still grazed his shoulder, and blood gushed out instantly.
The excruciating pain in Assassin's shoulder became increasingly pronounced, but he did not stop for a moment.
He specifically chose this skyscraper because it is one of the tallest buildings in Shinto, as it offers a clear view of the entire Shinto landscape and the route to Miwon River.
The building soars into the clouds, surrounded by skyscrapers and bustling commercial districts. From here, one can see the Miwon River in the distance, with its green spaces and dense forests clearly visible on both sides.
Assassin carefully observed his surroundings, quickly devising the best escape route in his mind. He not only had to shake off Lancer's pursuit, but also cleverly guide her towards the port to cooperate with his Master's plan.
Lancer was already close by, her spear gleaming coldly in the sunlight. She was incredibly fast, giving Assassin almost no chance to catch his breath.
"It's time to get going," Assassin thought to himself.
He leaped from the top floor, using the protrusions on the building's exterior walls and windowsills to slide down quickly. His movements were agile and swift, like a falcon swooping down, rapidly traversing several floors before finally landing in a narrow alleyway.
Lancer followed closely behind, jumping off the roof and chasing after him without hesitation.
Assassin and Lancer clashed repeatedly between the skyscrapers of New City, their battles causing severe damage to the surrounding buildings and streets.
The two heroic spirits moved with lightning speed, darting between narrow alleys and empty squares.
Assassin led the way, keenly aware of the approaching forces behind him. He calmly observed his surroundings, quickly devising a strategy to lure Lancer. They moved from the tallest building in the new capital, first through a crowded commercial district, then into a narrow residential area.
Assassin continued running, and as he passed a construction site, he saw a rickety scaffold.
Without hesitation, he kicked the pillar supporting the scaffolding, and the entire structure immediately tilted and collapsed. Large pieces of steel pipes and planks rained down on Lancer. She raised her gun to block, but was still forced to slow down.
Finally, they arrived at the highway entrance. It was a wide and complex area with heavy traffic and complicated road conditions.
This was the ideal battlefield in Assassin's plan. He quickly weaved through the vehicles, skillfully dodging the oncoming traffic.
Lancer followed closely behind, her spear gleaming coldly in the night. Her speed was undiminished; no matter how complex the road ahead, nothing could hinder her pursuit. The two engaged in a chase along the highway like hunter and prey.
Assassin suddenly stopped abruptly, and with the cover of a large truck, quickly crossed the traffic to the opposite lane.
He targeted several taxis that were rapidly approaching, calculating the time and distance. Just as Lancer reached the center of the highway, Assassin suddenly leaped up and kicked the roadside guardrail. A huge piece of metal was kicked away and crashed directly into Lancer.
Lancer's spear thrust straight out, instantly piercing through the massive, flying iron plate. The plate shattered into pieces, and iron filings scattered like raindrops, leaving sharp tracks on the highway.
The metal filings struck nearby vehicles, immediately triggering a series of chain-reaction car accidents.
The screeching of brakes echoed as drivers desperately slammed on the brakes, but the excessive speed caused the vehicles to go out of control, with crashes and shattering glass resounding throughout.
Several cars collided violently under the impact of the metal filings, rolling and tumbling on the road, leaking fuel and sparks flying.
A tanker truck was punctured by flying metal filings, causing the tank to rupture and a large amount of fuel to leak out.
Immediately afterwards, a speeding car lost control and crashed into the tanker truck. The violent impact triggered a massive explosion, sending flames soaring into the sky. The shockwave from the explosion overturned surrounding vehicles, and the flames spread rapidly, plunging the entire highway into chaos and inferno.
Drivers slowed down to avoid the scene, and some even stopped and called the police in panic after witnessing the incident, completely disregarding oncoming traffic and causing another disaster.
Assassin used the chaos and fire on the highway to quickly create distance, but he also controlled his speed, staying within Lancer's line of sight.
He nimbly leaped onto an overpass, weaving between the railings with light and steady steps. He kept looking back to check on Lancer's movements, adjusting his pace to ensure she wouldn't catch up completely, but also not lose sight of him.
Lancer saw Assassin's actions and a cold glint flashed in her eyes. She understood that the prey in front of her was not simply running away, but was being used as bait, meaning that he had accomplices.
Very well, another target for revenge has been added, but it seems that her magic power is not enough. What a pity. She can't drag this out any longer. She decides to use her magic power to end this chase directly.
Lancer stopped and focused her magic on her spear.
"Synchro... Accelerate Synchro!"
The long-dormant Dragon Heart began to throb again, blood gathered in her heart, and then began to flow to her limbs, her magical energy boiling. Her solid body began to flicker, the drawbacks of not having a Master to supply her with magic gradually becoming apparent, her body roaring and howling.
The gun began to emit a ghostly blue light, and magic gathered at its tip into a dazzling beam. She raised the gun high and aimed it at the overpass ahead.
"it's over!"
The spear swung down with tremendous force, slashing towards the viaduct. The magical beam instantly sliced through the bridge's pillars, and the entire viaduct snapped apart amidst violent tremors.
Part of the bridge began to collapse, with rubble and steel bars flying everywhere, and the bridge deck teetering on the brink of collapse.
Assassin sensed the change behind him and reacted swiftly. He accelerated sharply, leaping towards the section of the bridge that hadn't yet collapsed, attempting to escape before the bridge completely crumbled.
The viaduct collapsed behind him, with huge fragments crashing to the ground with deafening roars.
Immediately following was another beam of light, which blasted towards the fleeing Assassin, the destructive light and his figure about to overlap.
In the distance, a radio conversation, coded with data, is taking place in ultra-high-altitude thunderclouds where even birds cannot fly.
The phone lines at the Japan Air Self-Defense Force base have been overwhelmed with calls from multiple departments, and the entire base is in a state of chaos.
"Control tower calling JASDF, please respond."
"This is JASDF, communication is good, what happened?"
"The Fuyuki City Police Department has requested disaster relief assistance. Patrol and security duties must be immediately terminated, and the police must proceed to the scene as soon as possible."
Disaster relief—the words coming through the earpiece made First Lieutenant Colonel Kumagai doubt his own ears.
If it were a request for helicopters or P3P anti-submarine patrol aircraft, that would be understandable, but what kind of 'disaster' would necessitate recalling F-4EJ fighter jets that are patrolling territorial waters?
Chapter 55 "Boring" (Please add to your favorites! Please continue reading!)
"Control tower, please explain the instructions. What exactly happened?"
An awkward silence fell over the other end of the radio.
"...Uh, listen carefully, don't laugh. The other party said...Kamen Rider and monster are fighting on the overpass. Before that, they had already fought in the New City Business District."
Hearing such a thing at a Japan Air Self-Defense Force base is simply the most absurd joke in the world. It's not April Fool's Day, so it's impossible for Colonel Kumagai not to laugh.
"This is truly remarkable, and it's worth joining the Air Self-Defense Force."
"In short, this is the official order: immediately dispatch F-4EJ fighter jets to the Fuyuki E3 high-speed rail station to observe the situation and report back."
"...Hey, are you kidding me?"
"JASDF, repeat command!"
The administrator's impatient tone revealed his position: he was also forced to deal with this inexplicable prank.
First Class Air Lieutenant Kumagai sighed and repeated the instructions in a flat, monotonous tone.
"JASDF received. The Oodove and Shirokuro aircraft have immediately proceeded to scout the situation on the Fuyuki E3 highway. Communication complete."
Even after recounting the mission, the content of the previous communication still made Kumagai somewhat doubt himself. The thought that such a ridiculous and foolish conversation would be recorded in the voice recorder made him feel uneasy.
But regardless of whether there was a mistake or not, the order that has already been repeated cannot be taken back. Although it is unknown who should be held responsible for this farce, it is still necessary to go and check it out.
The two aircraft, Daigoku and Hakko, had already departed from the sea, and the two air captains were still completely bewildered when they received the order.
"If we really encounter a Kamen Rider and a monster, should we help the Kamen Rider, or attack them both together?"
"Have you ruined your brain by playing with anime and manga? Why are you thinking about this at a time like this?"
Regardless of what the pilots thought, the F-4EJ's afterburner engine continued to roar, and its silver wings, tumbling through the air, remained as heroic as ever.
......
"Assassin, twist it open!"
