Chapter 86 GGAD Fighted
Chapter 86 GGAD Fighted
During this time, I traveled with Gellert Grindelwald to several countries.
He didn't introduce me to his followers, and I just quietly stayed by my brother's side.
Until one day I showed up at his castle with Riddle, who had taken leave.
Riddle and I had just walked in through the front door when Gellert Grindelwald, who was coming down the stairs from the second floor, saw us.
"What kind of relationship do you two have now?" Gellert Grindelwald could see how close we were, and looked at his younger brother with curiosity.
"It's the kind of relationship you're thinking of. I received a message today saying he's already left England." I'm not denying my feelings for Riddle, and we did receive a message from Albus Dumbledore when we left.
He also took a leave of absence for a while, apparently to visit someone.
I looked at the person standing on the stairs; the show was about to begin.
“I understand. Let’s go. We’ll probably see him soon.” Gellert Grindelwald seemed to have a premonition. He grabbed his coat and walked out the door. Riddle and I followed behind him, Apparating away together.
When we reappeared, the place was packed with people, and Gellert Grindelwald led the way among his supporters.
The other group was led by Albus Dumbledore and others, and the two groups faced each other.
“Albus Dumbledore, it’s been a long time,” Gellert Grindelwald greeted Dumbledore across from him.
“Gellert Grindelwald.” Dumbledore looked at him with a serious expression.
"Are you trying to stop me?" Gellert Grindelwald gracefully raised his hands, his supporters cheering him on from behind.
The opposing group watched in silence.
“Gellert Grindelwald, I will stop you.” Dumbledore raised his wand at Gellert Grindelwald.
“Don’t interfere,” Gellert Grindelwald waved everyone away.
The other two people made room for the two of them.
Gellert Grindelwald and Albus Dumbledore were once again on opposing sides.
The light of magic intertwined between them, illuminating the entire battlefield.
Gellert Grindelwald's dark magic surged toward Dumbledore like a tidal wave, but Dumbledore countered with his superb magical skills and unwavering will.
Their wands swung, unleashing powerful magic. Each collision triggered a massive energy surge, as if the surrounding air itself were on fire.
Gellert Grindelwald's eyes revealed madness and determination as he attempted to break through Dumbledore's defenses and realize his ambitions.
Dumbledore, however, remained calm and focused, his eyes filled with unwavering devotion to justice.
As the battle progressed, both sides gradually depleted their physical strength and magical energy. However, neither of them retreated, and they continued to fight with all their might.
Riddle and I just watched from a distance, with some sunflower seeds and drinks in hand, as we watched the two of them fight so fiercely.
"Ayers, aren't you going to help them?" Riddle just stared at the person in front of him, his own brother and sister-in-law were fighting like this, and he was still calmly watching the show.
"Why should I help? If a couple is fighting, should we go and help them? Am I helping my brother or my sister-in-law? Oh well, it's okay. When my brother gets beaten up badly, I'll just pull him away." Gellert Grindelwald doesn't need my help; he won't die.
If there weren't so many people here, I would have wanted to cheer them on. It's a once-in-a-lifetime sight to see a couple fighting.
In the end, neither Gellert Grindelwald nor Dumbledore could bring themselves to do it, and they both stopped.
Their blood pact fell to the ground and shattered, leaving Gellert Grindelwald alone at the very edge of the wall.
Grindelwald looked at Dumbledore with a sorrowful expression and said, "Our battle was ultimately unavoidable."
Dumbledore said in an indescribable way, "But it should end now, Gellert."
Grindelwald seemed to have come to terms with it, muttering to himself as he looked up at the sky: "Yes, it's over... but I still don't understand why you kept going against me?"
“Because our ideals are different. You pursue power, while I pursue peace and justice.” Dumbledore looked at Grindelwald, and one could sense his sadness.
“Power is not evil; it can bring change and make the world a better place.” Grindelwald suddenly became assertive again, showing his determination to obtain power.
“But power can also lead people astray, and you have embarked on a wrong path.” Dumbledore looked at the man before him with disappointment, wondering how he had become so unreasonable.
Grindelwald was a little confused: "Perhaps... but everything I've done is for a greater purpose."
"Your goals may be noble, but your methods are cruel." Dumbledore was somewhat angry at his lover for becoming like this, and resentful of his cruel methods.
“There will always be sacrifices in the process of achieving great goals.” Grindelwald didn’t care; there was no way that things could be changed without sacrifice.
Dumbledore looked at Grindelwald with disappointment: "But those innocent lives should not become your sacrifices."
“You are always so kind, Albus. But kindness cannot solve all problems.” Although the blood pact was broken, Grindelwald still loved Dumbledore for his kindness.
"Maybe not, but it allows us to retain our humanity."
Dumbledore still hoped that he could persuade Grindelwald to turn over a new leaf.
"Human nature...that's what you've always insisted on." Grindelwald isn't someone Dumbledore can change with a few words.
Dumbledore himself knew that Grindelwald couldn't be changed by just a few words: "Yes, humanity is our most precious asset."
But Grindelwald compromised: "Fine, you win, Albus. But I believe that my ideas will one day be accepted by people."
Dumbledore looked helplessly at his lover whom he couldn't communicate with: "Perhaps, but that's not something that can be achieved through violence and fear."
Grindelwald felt he had said enough for the day and it was time to leave: "We'll see..."
“Let’s go, we should head over there too.” Holding Riddle’s hand, we, who have merged with vampire bloodlines, have acquaintances here, and it’s not convenient for either of us to reveal our true identities.
The main concern was that Old Deng would recognize them.
Riddle and I walked side by side toward Gellert Grindelwald.
The fusion of vampire bloodlines grants us extraordinary charm and power.
As we walked over, the people surrounding Gellert Grindelwald made way for us.
