Chapter 82 Sirius Black Runs Away from Home
Chapter 82 Sirius Black Runs Away from Home
I sensed that Tom Marvolo Riddell was in a bad mood because of what happened to old Tom Riddell.
I spent the whole vacation hanging out at home with Tom Marvolo Riddell.
I didn't return to my own reality until he went back to school at Hogwarts.
After returning, I checked the travel time information of the sponsor.
Tom Marvolo Riddle and Severus Snape are still in the cooling-off period.
Now only Sirius Black's time is available.
Looks like I'll have to go and do some quests.
(The sugar daddy travels through Sirius Black's youth)
[Jin: Okay, it's all arranged. Countdown to the start of the time travel event~]
Black House is an old building in London that was the family residence of Sirius Black.
This old house has a long history and rich cultural heritage, and is one of the important symbols of the Black family.
The exterior of Black House is spectacular; it is a typical Gothic building with soaring spires and ornate decorations.
The walls of the old house are made of dark stone, giving it a solemn and dignified feel.
The old house's main gate is made of thick wood and inlaid with exquisite metal decorations, making it look very magnificent.
Stepping out of the teleportation array, I found myself right in front of Sirius Black's house. It seems Sirius Black is on vacation now.
Meanwhile, a fierce argument is unfolding in the old and solemn Black family mansion.
Sirius Black, a young and rebellious family member, has a fierce conflict with his parents.
“I’ve had enough of your constraints and rules!” Sirius shouted, his voice echoing through the spacious living room. “I don’t want to live according to your wishes anymore. I have my own thoughts and pursuits!”
His father, Orion Black, sat on the sofa with a gloomy expression, looking at him coldly.
“You are a member of the Black family, and your responsibility is to uphold the family’s traditions and honor. You cannot go against our wishes to pursue unrealistic dreams.”
Sirius's mother, Walbuga Black, chimed in, "Sirius, you must understand, we're all doing this for your own good. We hope you can become an excellent wizard and bring honor to the family."
“An excellent wizard?” Sirius sneered. “Your idea of an excellent wizard is someone who studies dark magic and follows that person? I don’t want to become that kind of person. I want to pursue my own path!”
“You are blaspheming the family honor!” Orion Black stood up angrily, pointing at Sirius and saying, “You are a disgrace to the Black family!”
A flicker of pain and anger flashed in Sirius's eyes as he looked at his parents, his heart filled with disappointment and helplessness.
“I am not a disgrace, I am a person with thoughts and aspirations. I don’t want to be bound by you anymore, I want to leave this home!”
After saying that, he turned and walked towards the door, slamming it shut behind him.
The moment the door closed, the entire mansion fell silent.
Orion Black and Walbuga Black stood there, stunned, their faces filled with shock and anger.
When I saw Sirius Black suddenly rush out of the house, I was dressed in a dark gold magic robe and wearing gold-rimmed glasses. Our eyes met.
“Hi~” I smiled as I looked at the stunned Sirius Black.
"Why are you here?" Sirius Black, having recovered from his shock, walked towards me.
He only saw me; he didn't see that snotty-nosed guy he hated.
“No need to look, Severus isn’t here. He came here to find you, of course.” I smiled at Sirius Black.
“Looking for me? We don’t seem to know each other very well, and what would a Slytherin like you want from a Gryffindor like me?” Sirius Black was a little confused when he heard that I had come to see him.
"I was just planning to wander around aimlessly, but I never expected to run into you, a Gryffindor lion who ran away from home." To be honest, I can't explain why I'm here. Am I here to pick him up? He'd be a fool to believe that.
"Do you think I'd believe what a Slytherin like you says?" Sirius Black would be a fool to believe me.
"Believe it or not, want to grab a drink at the Leaky Cauldron?" It's obvious Sirius Black is homeless now that he's run away from home; getting drunk would be the best thing to do, but we're both underage wizards, so this isn't fun.
"Why should I go for a drink with you? I'm on my way to find James." Sirius Black had no desire to go with me, a Slytherin, not knowing if he might suddenly disappear.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with me?" The emerald eyes behind the gold-rimmed glasses gradually turned blood red. I had incorporated a little bit of vampire blood, giving me a touch of allure.
"Alright, let's go." In the end, Sirius Black couldn't resist the slightest temptation and followed me to the Leaky Cauldron.
Just as we were leaving, a little boy stood watching us from the second-floor window of Blake's family mansion.
As I was about to Apparate with Sirius Black, I felt a gaze on me. I looked at the window, nodded, and smiled slightly.
After Sirius Black and I left, the curtains in that window were drawn.
Night fell over Diagon Alley in London, and the ancient street appeared eerie and mysterious under the dim moonlight.
The Leaky Cauldron sign creaked and groaned in the wind.
I walked into the bar side by side with Sirius Black, whose face was gloomy and whose eyes revealed a hint of helplessness.
We found a quiet corner to sit down. The bar was filled with smoke and noisy chatter, but Sirius Black felt particularly heavy-hearted.
Sirius Black silently picked up the butterbeer and downed it in one gulp.
He gripped the cup tightly, as if trying to crush all his worries. I watched him quietly.
“I had a fight with my family.” Sirius Black finally broke the silence, his voice low and hoarse. “They don’t understand me. They only care about the family’s honor and interests, while I… I just want to do what I want to do.”
“Sirius Black. Sometimes, we have to make choices, even if those choices cause us to disagree with our families.” Sirius Black looked up at me.
“I don’t know what to do, I don’t know how to face them. They are my family, I don’t want to hurt them, but I don’t want to give up on my pursuits either.”
"Since you've already made your choice, don't regret it and keep going." I also picked up my butterbeer and took a sip.
Sirius Black looked at me gratefully, a slight smile spreading across his face. "Thank you, Ayers Hall."
We continued drinking and chatting.
The atmosphere in the bar gradually became more relaxed, and our mood improved as well.
