Chapter 25 Elf Queen
Chapter 25 Elf Queen
"Where's Gandalf?" Argon stood at the entrance of the passage, looking at the group of people coming up.
But he didn't see Gandalf in the group, so he instinctively asked about it.
But when he saw the hobbits' grief and the silence of the others, he instantly realized something was wrong.
Legolas remained silent, head bowed, and after glancing at Aragorn, walked past him toward the exit.
Only when Ironbey came out did Aragorn ask in a panic, "What happened?"
Iron Glory sighed deeply, even though he knew Gandalf had gone to level up and rest.
But under these circumstances, even he couldn't remain calm if a dramatic scene of life and death were staged.
"Have you cleared out the orcs up there?" Tie Hui asked, seeing Aragorn running down alone.
Aragorn patiently replied, "Reinforcements have arrived, and they've been driven away!"
Ironf nodded upon hearing this, then patted Aragorn on the shoulder: "Gandalf... fell into the abyss with the Balrog!"
After saying that, he walked toward the exit, ignoring Aragorn who was still standing there in a daze.
As he walked out of the exit, the intense sunlight forced him to close his eyes and raise his hand to shield them.
After three or four days inside, I've almost gotten used to the darkness!
After a while, he was able to see his surroundings clearly.
The surrounding stone walls were piled high with the corpses of orcs!
One by one, fully armed elves clad in golden armor were wielding elven scimitars to finish off the fallen orcs.
The other members of the Fellowship of the Ring sat or leaned not far away, each with a look of sadness and pain on their face.
Clearly, they all knew that Gandalf and the Balrog had perished together and fallen into the abyss.
At that moment, an elf with a full head of golden hair and no helmet came forward.
When Tie Hui saw it, he immediately knew who it was.
It was Haldir, the captain of the elven reinforcements who died in Helm's Deep.
"I've heard about Gandalf!" Haldir said, placing his right hand on his chest in mourning. "He was a great prophet!"
Tie Hui returned the greeting, then, looking around at the scene, changed the subject, asking, "How did you know these orcs would come to ambush us?"
"The Queen sent us!" Haldir also looked behind him at the pile of orc corpses that was being stacked up.
"The Queen says you have suffered a calamity! Tell us to hurry here!" Watching their people throw torches up, a raging fire broke out.
He breathed a sigh of relief: "Thankfully, we finally made it! But I still feel sorry for Gandalf!"
Tie Hui waved his hand: "Just like Gandalf said, it's all a matter of fate! No matter how much you struggle, fate will eventually push you onto the right path! He is a Maiar, and he will eventually return to us. This, too, is a matter of fate!"
Haldir smiled and nodded: "You're absolutely right!"
Then he turned to his people and said, "Speed up!"
He turned to look at Tie Hui: "The Queen has been waiting for you for a long time! We need to hurry and get there before dark!"
"Me?" Tie Hui looked at him with some confusion.
"right!"
……
Golden Forest!
A small forest where Queen Galadriel resides!
Of course, that's small compared to the Dark Forest!
Near the depths of the forest, the leaves block out the sun, and the tree trunks reach for the sky.
These enormous trees have transformed the heart of the Golden Forest into a miniature castle.
After Haldir and the others arrived at the terrace, they voluntarily withdrew.
Queen Galadriel and Lord Roslian walked slowly down the stairs.
This thing truly shines with its own light!
This reminded him of the bullet comments he saw when he watched this show in his previous life!
Baishui Mountain, the aristocrat of the water!
Tie Hui glanced at it only once before consciously lowering his head.
Because this queen has the ability to see into people's hearts.
He didn't want his earlier thought to be discovered.
Queen Galadriel exchanged deep glances with everyone.
"Gandalf has fallen into the abyss of darkness! We have temporarily lost a friend!" Galadriel said, making eye contact with everyone.
He fixed his gaze on Tie Hui, who had his head down.
A faint smile appeared on his lips: "You should rest well here from now on! The elven and dwarven craftsmen have prepared everything you'll need for your journey. However, you'll have to wait a while!"
Tie Hui sat on the ground of the fungal carpet, never imagining that fungi could grow so soft and dry.
Stepping on it barefoot feels like stepping on wool.
Sleeping here is easy; you can just cover yourself with a blanket!
The fatigue and hunger from days of travel left him exhausted.
After the elves brought him food, he wolfed it down and lay down on the tent floor, falling fast asleep.
As for what Galadriel wants to do, he has no interest in caring.
Let's focus on getting our energy back first!
The others did the same, and after finishing their food, they huddled inside the hut to rest.
For a moment, the sound of snoring filled the air!
Jinli's voice was the loudest, causing some passing elves to chuckle.
I slept soundly for ages, and I don't know how much time passed.
Tie Hui sat up sleepily, staring blankly at the surroundings.
"Mr. Tulag!" A female voice rang out from the side. Tie Hui turned his head and saw an elven maidservant smiling at him.
"The Queen invites you to a chat!"
Tie Hui's heart skipped a beat, but he showed no sign of it, waving his hand and saying, "Okay, thank you!"
Tie Hui followed the elven maid to a lakeside, where he watched the moonlight spill onto the water, reflecting shimmering waves.
And Queen Galadriel, radiating light, stood beside her!
The maid gestured and then withdrew.
Only Ironhide and Queen Galadriel remained.
Tie Hui's throat bobbed; he felt incredibly guilty.
"You're a very strange person!" Galadriel stroked the lake water and looked at him with a smile.
Tie Hui had already recalled the self-deprecating remarks he made when they first met.
He panicked so much that he could sense his thoughts even without making eye contact with her.
"Don't be afraid, foresight is one of my abilities!"
Tie Hui stepped forward, bowed beside her, and asked, "May I ask what brings Your Majesty to see me?"
"I'd like to know your opinion on The Lord of the Rings?"
Tie Hui pondered for a moment, then replied, "It's something very dangerous!"
Galadriel shook her head, looking at the moon's reflection in the lake: "It's not actually dangerous. What's truly dangerous is the human heart and the unease of not being able to control one's desires!" As she spoke, she turned to look at Iron Glow...
"Is your name really Tulag?"
