Chapter 131: Fragments of Fate! A Deeper Awakening
Chapter 131: Fragments of Fate! A Deeper Awakening
"Let me bear everything, or destroy everything..." Isaac's fist slowly clenched, his gaze gradually hardening. "Dimensional Core, you want to use this fake balance to bind me? Too bad, you underestimate my resolve!"
He suddenly raised his head, and golden power of rules erupted completely within him. His body was enveloped in blazing light, and he transformed into a burning star, soaring straight towards the seven stars in the sky.
"If a perfect world requires the sacrifice of freedom, then its existence is meaningless!" Isaac roared. "I will not be bound by fate again, nor will I become a prisoner of any balance!"
With his roar, golden light struck the stars in the sky. Seven stars trembled violently simultaneously, bursting forth with intense light. The rules of the entire world began to collapse, and the balance was completely shattered.
"You chose destruction..." The voice held a complex tone, "But this is not the end, but a new beginning."
Isaac's body was enveloped in golden light, and his consciousness was once again pulled into the void. He knew that this trial was not over yet, and the real challenge had only just begun.
Golden light shattered the balance of the seven stars, and the entire dimensional world began to collapse at an alarming rate. The sky was as if sliced by countless sharp blades, the cracks widening continuously, and brilliant starlight erupted from the fissures, scattering into countless points of light. The ground trembled, and countless creatures cried out in agony, but these sounds were quickly swallowed up in the disintegration of space.
Isaac floated in the void, calmly observing everything. His power of rules continued to swirl around him, the golden light acting as an unbreakable shield, isolating the shattered energy. However, his heart was not at peace.
“Destroying a perfect world…” Isaac’s fist clenched slightly, a complex look in his eyes. “If this is the price that the creator must bear, then I have no regrets.”
As soon as he finished speaking, the surrounding space suddenly distorted violently, and an immense force surged from all directions, instantly pulling his body into the deeper void. This force was far more violent than any previous teleportation, even causing his power of rules to be temporarily unstable.
"The true test of the dimensional core has begun," Isaac whispered. He could sense that this trial had transcended the realm of rules and power, and was more like a test of the soul.
When the light faded, Isaac found himself standing in a completely unfamiliar space. This space was devoid of color; everything was gray, as if devoid of life. Countless fragments of rules floated in the air, sometimes emitting a faint glow, sometimes fading into complete darkness.
“This is…” Isaac looked around, his gaze falling on the floating fragments, sensing a familiar presence.
"These are fragments of the dimensional core, and remnants of fate." A deep voice echoed from the void.
Isaac looked up and saw a figure slowly emerge from the darkness. The figure was tall, shrouded in a gray glow, obscuring his face. His aura was unfathomable, seemingly merging into the entire space.
"Who are you?" Isaac's gaze sharpened, and the power of rules surged rapidly within him, ready to deal with any sudden danger.
"I am the embodiment of destiny, and the guardian of the dimensional core." The figure's voice was deep and majestic. "You tore apart the balance of the seven stars, destroyed the perfect world. Now that you stand here, are you ready to face the ultimate test?"
Isaac smiled coldly, meeting his gaze head-on without flinching: "If the purpose of this trial is merely to force me to compromise, then you are destined to fail. Fate cannot bind me, nor can the will of the dimensional core."
The figure remained silent for a moment, then slowly spoke: "You have indeed overcome countless challenges to reach this point. But do you truly understand what it means to become a creator? Is your power sufficient to bear all of this?"
"Power?" Isaac scoffed, waving his hands. Golden power of rules erupted in the void, transforming into a blazing pillar of light that shot straight into the sky. "My power has proven everything. What right do you have to question me?"
However, the figure did not back down. He raised a hand, and the gray light formed an invisible wall, completely blocking Isaac's pillar of light. The two forces collided in mid-air, unleashing a deafening roar that shook the entire space violently.
"Your power is indeed formidable, but it remains confined within the rules," the figure said coldly. "And beyond fate lies a far more complex world than you can imagine."
Isaac's gaze sharpened slightly. He could sense that the opponent's power was not simply the power of rules, but rather a fusion with some deeper essence. It was an existence that transcended rules and order, as if it had already broken free from all limitations.
“A power beyond the rules…” Isaac murmured, a glint of fighting spirit flashing in his eyes. “It seems you are my final opponent.”
The figure swayed slightly, and his voice became even deeper: "I am not your opponent, but your mirror. The trial to come is not a contest of strength, but a choice of the soul."
As his words fell, the surrounding space suddenly distorted violently. The floating fragments of rules rapidly coalesced, transforming into a gigantic mirror. The mirror's surface shimmered with an eerie light, seemingly capable of reflecting the essence of everything.
“This is…” Isaac’s gaze deepened. He could sense that this mirror was not an ordinary material, but a higher-level existence.
"The Mirror of Destiny," the figure said slowly, "will reflect your past, present, and future, forcing you to confront your own soul and choices. If you cannot pass its test, you will never be able to touch the essence of the dimensional core."
Isaac didn't answer. His gaze was fixed on the mirror. He took a deep breath and slowly walked up to it. As he stood before the mirror, his reflection immediately appeared on its surface. However, this wasn't the familiar reflection he knew; it was a completely different version of himself.
In the mirror, Isaac wore a long black robe, his eyes revealing coldness and ruthlessness. Behind him was not dazzling light, but endless shadows, as if swallowing all hope.
“This is…” Isaac was slightly taken aback. He could sense that the image of himself in the mirror was not a mere illusion, but a real existence.
"This is your other side." The voice of the figure came from behind. "Every creator has two extremes: one is the creator who gives hope, and the other is the terminator who brings destruction. What you see now is your form as the terminator."
