Chapter 30: The Battle Begins, Goten VS Nappa!

As mentioned last time, after a period of stalemate, the battle between the Z Fighters and Vegeta officially began after the Saibamen were born in Naba!

Upon seeing the six Saibamen that appeared, Goten couldn't help but sigh, "Seriously, using these things to make up the numbers is just a waste of time."

Seeing that the Saibamen were ready, Nappa gave the order and the Saibamen chased after the Z Fighters. Facing these Saibamen, the Z Fighters fought one by one. Except for Gohan, who was intimidated by his first official battle and stood frozen in place, Goten came to the rescue in time. After kicking away the Saibamen who had attacked him, he came to Gohan, grabbed the Saibamen who had attacked Gohan, and threw them at the Saibamen who had just regained their footing, sending them flying together.

Gohan looked at Goten and said gratefully, "Thank you, Goten-nii-san."

Wu Tian was startled upon hearing this and hurriedly said, "Wait a minute, we're from different generations. I'm only three years old, and my fourth birthday is in two days. You should call me 'little brother'."

Gohan was shocked again upon hearing Goten's words. However, Piccolo angrily scolded Gohan, "What are you doing? Go fight that guy yourself. And Goten, don't spoil that kid. Let him fight by himself, you hear me?"

Goten, having no other choice, took his own Saibaman and left Gohan with his own to deal with. Gohan, seeing this, could only unleash his power and charge forward to fight Saibaman, even though Gohan was only being attacked on one side.

Meanwhile, on the other side, Tien Shinhan easily defeated his own Saibaman, but seeing Chiaotzu in trouble, he was about to go to help when Nappa suddenly attacked him, punching him into the mountainside. Looking at Tien Shinhan, Nappa smiled smugly and said, "Just because you defeated a Saibaman doesn't mean you can look around aimlessly."

Tien Shinhan felt like all the bones in his body were about to fall apart after just one hit from Nappa. However, seeing Nappa looking at Krillin, Tien Shinhan immediately warned, "Krillin! Watch out, that guy has his eye on you."

Krillin had just defeated the Saibaman in front of him when he heard Tien Shinhan's warning. Turning around, he saw Nappa rushing towards him at high speed. He immediately leaped into the air and watched as Nappa relentlessly charged towards him. Krillin put his hands on his forehead and shouted, "Solar Punch!"

The intense light temporarily blinded Nappa, allowing Krillin to escape and reach Piccolo, who had already dealt with the Saibamen. Piccolo said to Piccolo, "That guy actually ambushed us, Piccolo. We have to deal with those monsters called Saibamen quickly."

Bick scoffed, "That's their problem. I'll fight that guy myself. If you have that kind of idea, go support them yourself."

After saying that, Piccolo rushed towards Nappa in one stride, returning to Krillin's side in just a second. However, he was knocked back by Nappa. After being knocked back to Krillin's side, Piccolo stood up, dusted himself off, and said to Krillin as if nothing had happened, "Forget it, let's split up and provide support. We'll deal with him later."

So the two split up. Krillin was responsible for distracting Nappa, while Piccolo quickly came to the aid of Gohan and Chiaotzu, taking care of their Saibamen. Piccolo glanced over at Goten and saw that Goten was actually playing rock-paper-scissors with a Saibaman. He immediately shouted, "Idiot! What are you doing!"

Upon hearing Piccolo's roar, Goten immediately turned hostile, kicking his Saibaman to his death, and then gave Piccolo an apologetic, silly grin.

Meanwhile, Yamcha, after defeating Saibaman, became instantly smug and failed to notice that Saibaman had secretly gotten up. Suddenly, Saibaman unleashed a burst of energy and charged at Yamcha. Fortunately, Goten noticed in time and instantly appeared in front of Yamcha, pinning Saibaman to the ground and sending him away with an energy wave, thus preventing Yamcha from contributing another world-famous painting.

Yamcha looked at Goten, thanked him briefly, and then heard Krillin shouting. He then realized that Piccolo and the others had already started fighting Nappa on the other side, so he immediately rushed towards Krillin and the other two.

Meanwhile, Tien Shinhan finally managed to get up and join the battle. While the five fought Nappa, Goten stood by and watched coldly, not intending to join the melee. Seeing this, Vegeta said to Goten, "Aren't you going to help them? Or do you think they can defeat Nappa on their own..."

Goten replied, "I just don't want to gang up on someone. Besides, it'll be my turn soon, so you don't need to worry about what I'm doing." Vegeta, hearing this, stopped talking and turned to watch the 5v1 battle...

On the other side, Piccolo's team clearly had a numerical advantage, yet Nappa was single-handedly beating all five of them. Even Chiaotzu's psychic powers couldn't control Nappa's ferocious attacks. After the five were once again sent flying by Nappa, Chiaotzu had no other choice. So, he made a desperate move, taking the opportunity to fly onto Nappa's back and clinging to him tightly. Tien Shinhan immediately understood Chiaotzu's intention and shouted, "Chiaotzu, stop! Don't do that!"

However, Chiaotzu had already made up his mind. Just as Chiaotzu was about to self-destruct, an energy blast hit him directly, instantly knocking him unconscious and causing him to fall to the ground. Tien Shinhan turned around and saw that the energy blast was actually fired by Goten. He realized that Goten did this to stop Chiaotzu from self-destructing, so Tien Shinhan didn't say anything.

After Goten stopped Chiaotzu, he shouted at Nappa, "Big guy, watch me, it's my turn to fight, hurry up!"

Upon hearing this, Nappa decisively changed direction, gathering energy in his right hand towards Goten, imbuing it with lightning, and then charged straight at Goten, throwing a powerful punch. However, Goten dodged it and sent Nappa flying with a spinning kick.

Seeing this, Vegeta immediately put the detector back on and continued to order Nappa to attack. Nappa was kicked away by Goten and became furious. He then unleashed his full power and waved his hand, causing a violent explosion in front of him. When the explosion subsided, Goten had disappeared.

Upon seeing this, Gohan shouted, "Goten, little brother!"

Piccolo interrupted Gohan, saying, "Idiot, don't use your eyes to see, use your heart to sense the ki, do you hear me?" Gohan focused intently and suddenly looked up at the sky, where he indeed spotted Goten.

Goten looked at Nappa and shouted, "My turn! Take this! Goten Assault!" He then charged towards Nappa at lightning speed. Seeing this, Nappa decisively jumped aside just as Goten was about to hit him. Goten then used his ki blast to change direction, completely catching Nappa off guard and hitting him directly in the abdomen, sending him flying.

As Nappa stood up again, Vegeta said, "To reach a power level of 3800 in an instant... Damn it, does he adjust his power based on the enemy's strength?"

When Nappa heard Goten's power level of 3800, he still stubbornly said, "What's that? You're still not as strong as me."

Vegeta yelled at Nappa, "Idiot! Don't you understand? That guy hasn't even used his full strength yet. That last attack was just a normal strike. You fool, get serious! If you get killed, don't blame me for not warning you..."

Only then did Nappa finally regain his composure and seriously assume a fighting stance towards Goten, while Goten countered with Goku's classic ready stance. The battle between the two officially entered its most intense phase...
