Chapter 75 Alchemy Device
Ryan pushed open the door and entered the Adventurers' Club. The atmosphere inside was the same as when he left.
Aside from Percy and his two companions, who were very concerned about what their brother wanted to say to Ryan and kept looking towards the door, only Vio paid attention to the commotion at the door.
Seeing Ryan push the door open and come in, but then turn around and close the door behind him.
Percy couldn't help but ask, "Where's Ron?"
"The principal just happened to pass by and noticed that Ron had a slight cold, so he took him to the school clinic," Ryan said calmly, giving off a very credible impression.
"After your confinement ends, you can visit him at the school infirmary, or by then he may have already returned to the Gryffindor common room."
He chuckled. "Of course. Remember to tell Ron not to think he can escape solitary confinement. He'll have to make up for it tonight since he's not here."
Hearing Ryan's explanation, Percy and his companions were relieved to know that Ron was indeed alright.
"What did Ron just say to you?"
"Kids are shy, they wanted to apologize but were afraid you'd find out, so they pulled me outside to talk," Ryan said. "It's nothing serious."
"It's rare that Ron has come to his senses." Harry said this, and he was very pleased with Ron's actions.
Apart from the two Slytherins, the others present were all members of the Adventurers' Club who knew about Ron's previous rude remarks, and they were all Ron's friends and family. They were all very happy to hear that Ron was willing to apologize.
Many commented, "He's still a child."
"To err is human, to forgive divine."
Ryan laughed and said, "Alright, enough chit-chat, let's get started."
While it was said that everything was underway, Ryan was actually in charge of 99% of the alchemy work. Those among the others who knew alchemy could lend a hand, while those who didn't could only watch or hand over materials.
Once they got down to business, Ryan's expression became indifferent, having put aside the devastating news that "Voldemort has a brain," and his eyes were now only focused on the alchemical goal he wanted to achieve.
The materials are ignited sequentially.
Roads are being opened one after another.
The source material was successively connected.
As materials were melted down one by one, flashes of light appeared, and the objects on the matrix gradually took shape.
"The next step, injecting and guiding it to form a consciousness mechanism, requires waiting for the right time," Ryan said softly, as if reminding himself and explaining to the people around him.
"Through the technique of infusing consciousness into magical drawings, an alchemical device is formed that can autonomously forge important components."
"This step, I think, is the biggest difference between us and traditional alchemy."
"I don't deny that there have been outstanding alchemists, both in the past and present, who could imbue objects with consciousness. But they probably wouldn't use that consciousness for mass production."
Ryan said, but he did not mean that wizards in the past were not mentally active.
Because industrialization requires a population base, and without considering breaking the secrecy laws and allowing wizards and Muggles to merge,
The wizarding population is insufficient to support industrialization.
There are probably only a few thousand wizards in the entire British Isles, and globally, the number of wizards is unlikely to exceed two hundred thousand.
With such a small population, it has absolutely nothing to do with the word "industrialization," because you need huge sales volume, market base, and target audience to form a complete and massive industrial chain and implement a marketing cycle.
What a hundred thousand wizards could accomplish with a wave of their wands was completely unnecessary to produce using industrialization. Moreover, industrialization for ordinary people would not liberate the productivity of wizards.
To unleash the productivity of wizards and allow each wizard to freely devote themselves to the magical fields they wish to study, it is necessary to update the wizarding world through the selection and application of magical methods.
"An alchemy device that can refine gold on its own!"
"This is amazing!"
"I've never heard of this before."
"This will shake the alchemists' position to some extent," Vio whispered. "Many wizards will be unhappy with what you're doing."
"Isn't this kind of machine also made by alchemists? Don't worry, the tide is in my hands," Ryan said. "As for those ordinary alchemists who are dissatisfied with my methods—"
"In my view, all conflicts arise from self-interest. As long as those alchemists discover they're following in my footsteps..."
"They are my most loyal supporters because they can get more rewards than they used to spend a lot of time and effort crafting an alchemical item," he said.
"Use both kindness and severity, and reward and punish in parallel."
As he spoke, Ryan drew out a flowing silver thread and inserted it into the alchemical matrix.
"This is memory."
Malfoy suddenly remembered something: "I know this! Wizards can extract their thoughts and memories and place them in the Pensieve!"
"Very good answer, Draco. This is one of the key raw materials for creating the magic painting: a memory." Ryan said, "This memory is a robotic mind that I fabricated using Occlumency, enough for our autonomous alchemical device."
As the silver memory threads entered the alchemy matrix, the matrix shone brightly, and a mass of black liquid with a constantly writhing surface rose up, rapidly expanded, and turned silvery-white.
In the next instant, the paths within the alchemical matrix began to flash and intersect in different sequences. The ever-growing mass of liquid was affected, gradually disintegrating into different shapes.
Before long, a castle-shaped alchemical device, about half a person's height, appeared before everyone's eyes.
"Is this Hogwarts Castle?" George asked.
"It just looks like it, don't talk nonsense. I have no ulterior motives towards Hogwarts Castle." Ryan said, a smile playing on his lips. "Little Hogwarts, say hello to everyone."
The small castle, about half a person's height, suddenly spoke up: "Hello everyone, I'm Xiao Huo, an employee who produces important components for the communicators."
Everyone was very interested and started chatting with Xiao Huo.
While they were chatting, Vio and Ryan walked to the side.
Vio asked, "Is that Ron connected to Voldemort?"
"How did you come up with that?" Ryan was very surprised. Vio didn't know any inside information. How could he connect it to Voldemort?
“Other opponents wouldn’t cause you this much trouble, and it’s unlikely that Headmaster Dumbledore would happen to be passing by,” Vio replied. “Besides, the Gringotts theft is a huge event; for a long time, the Daily Prophet reported on it. Everyone was speculating whether Voldemort had returned.”
He sighed. "So Voldemort is really at Hogwarts Castle now?"
"That's the problem. We don't know where Old Voldemort is, but there might be a whole bunch of Little Voldemors—" Ryan started scratching his head as soon as the question was raised.
"Old Fu? Young Fu?" Vio frowned. What strange titles were these?
He was about to ask another question.
Suddenly, a silver phoenix guardian appeared inside the Adventurers' Club.
The Phoenix Patronus spoke in Dumbledore's voice: "Judging by the time, your detention should be over soon, Ryan. I need you to come to the Headmaster's office now."
