The wind flowing through the air became clearly visible, as if it were telling her ancient secrets.
"Wow! Traveler, you've gained elemental power!" Paimon exclaimed excitedly, waving his arms and legs.
"Give it a try!"
Just then, a few wind slimes hopped out of the grass.
Ying's eyes sharpened, and she drew her sword—
"Go with the wind!"
Where the sword's edge sliced through, a violent tornado suddenly took shape.
Before the slimes could react, they were swept into the air.
"Plop!!"
The round slimes struggled in vain in the whirlwind, like jelly being thrown into a washing machine, eventually turning into several parabolas and disappearing into the distant woods with a "plop".
Paimon stared in disbelief: "Wow, that's amazing!"
Ying sheathed her bladeless sword with satisfaction: "The wind element is indeed very convenient to use..."
Before he could finish speaking, a mechanical "click-clack" sound suddenly came from behind him.
Looking back, Er Kang pulled out a radio from somewhere and was playing music.
It's the battle music from Mondstadt in the game.
Erkang looked up and saw that Ying had already finished the battle, so he reluctantly put the radio away.
"They fought so fast! I was even thinking of playing some background music."
Er Kang turned off the radio in frustration, and the last note of the Mondstadt battle music came to an abrupt end.
He had originally planned to add an impromptu accompaniment during the battle between the glowing creature and the slime, but the battle ended even faster than the prelude.
Ying helplessly reached out her hand, as if about to say something—
"Roar--!!"
A deafening dragon roar suddenly pierced the sky.
Everyone looked up and saw a giant, six-winged, azure dragon soaring through the clouds, its long tail drawing a graceful arc in the air.
"Dvalin? What's he doing here?"
Qingyu narrowed his eyes, a dangerous smile playing on his lips: "Perfect, let's help him clean up the poisonous blood."
Er Kang and the other two responded in unison, and began to take out their equipment in perfect unison.
High in the sky, Tvalin suddenly shivered.
As the Dragon of the East, he should have been intimately familiar with the changes in Mondstadt's air currents.
But at this moment, he felt a chill that came from the depths of his soul.
He slowly lowered his head, his dragon eyes suddenly shrinking to a thin line:
"Holy crap! How come it's these four living fathers?!"
The next second, Dvalin's six wings unleashed unprecedented power, instantly increasing his flight speed tenfold.
In everyone's eyes, he was like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, disappearing into the horizon with a "whoosh," leaving only a few panicked dragon scales falling.
In the woods, a bard who was fishing suddenly dropped his wine cup with a "clatter" to the ground.
"Hey? Dvalin, don't run away! I've already taken out my violin!"
Wendy looked at the empty sky and pouted in grievance.
On the ground, the group disappointedly packed away their equipment.
Er Kang stuffed the rocket launcher, which was as tall as two people, back into his four-dimensional pocket: "Tch...running so fast."
Gu Qian reluctantly put away the specially made "Dragon Clan Cupping Tool"—this thing was engraved with the words "Specially treats poisonous blood, effective with just one cupping".
Zhang Chu adjusted his mask: "According to calculations, his escape speed just now broke the sound barrier."
Qingyu sighed, "What a waste of my specially made purification shells..."
As he spoke, he patted the wooden crate next to him that read "Dongfeng Express, Mission Accomplished".
Ying and Paimon stared at the scene in stunned silence.
Paimon pointed tremblingly at the wooden box: "That...that's a picture of the dragon's head on it?"
Qingyu nodded smugly and took out the sign: "That's right, his name is Tvalin. I even made a location tracking function for him."
fluorescent:"......"
She was suddenly very glad that Tvalin was fast.
Chapter 7 Amber
"What did you do to make Tvalin so afraid of you?"
Unable to contain her curiosity, Ying turned and asked.
Upon hearing this, Qingyu slowly pulled out a drawing board, on which a breathtaking scene was depicted in simple line drawings:
The chibi version of Dvalin is sticking his butt out, his dragon face filled with terror.
Behind him, a purple energy hand is striking the classic "Thousand Years of Death" pose, with the onomatopoeic word "pfft" drawn next to it.
fluorescent:"......"
She instinctively squeezed her legs together, feeling a dull ache in a certain area.
That's so mean, so incredibly mean!
Ying carried Paimon and walked quickly along the forest path, trying to shake off the image of Dvalin being killed by the "Thousand Years of Death" from her mind.
Paimon swayed back and forth in her arms, looking confused: "Traveler, why are you walking so fast? There aren't any monsters chasing us..."
Before he could finish speaking, a crisp "crack" sound came from behind him.
Everyone turned around and saw that Er Kang had somehow pulled out an old-fashioned Polaroid camera and was taking pictures of the drawing board in Qing Yu's hand.
The photo slowly emerged, revealing a close-up of Tvalin's "dark history."
"Leave it as a souvenir."
Er Kang proudly stuffed the photo into the album, the cover of which read "Illustrated Guide to Rare Creatures of Teyvat".
fluorescent:"......"
She suddenly had a strong urge to stuff these people into the tornado and blow them away.
Behind them, the group of four followed slowly.
Qingyu stroked his chin: "Shouldn't Amber be the next one to appear?"
Er Kang rubbed his hands together: "Should we do something to prepare?"
Gu Qian: "Can't we just let nature take its course?"
Zhang Chu adjusted his mask: "Amber doesn't know us. Given her scout knight personality, she might mistake Luminous for an accomplice of the Abyss Order... We'll have to be careful of her sneak attacks then."
Qingyu nodded thoughtfully, then suddenly pulled a bundle of thick hemp rope from his four-dimensional pocket.
"so......"
He gave a kind smile.
"Should we beat Amber up and tie her up?"
Er Kang: "!!!"
Gu Qian: "???"
Zhang Chu: "..."
After a three-second silence, Er Kang gave a thumbs up: "Goodness... if you won't listen to reason, then talk about physics!"
Gu Qian scratched his head: "But... it is indeed a good idea."
Zhang Chu sighed and silently took out an anesthetic needle: "Then I'll take care of keeping her quiet."
Everyone continued to move forward.
Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows, and the wind carries the sweet scent of dandelions.
This should have been a pleasant trip, if you ignore the following:
Qingyu practiced various knots with a rope as he walked;
Erkang occasionally pulls out some strange props (including but not limited to back scratchers and pepper spray);
The spiked club that Gu Qian was carrying had a sign that read "Free Cupping" hanging on it;
Zhang Chu fiddled with the smoke bombs, tear gas canisters, and tranquilizer darts in his hands.
Paimon quietly flew to Ying'er's side: "I have a feeling they're plotting something terrible..."
Ying quickened her pace silently: "Let's walk faster, try to get there before dark..."
Suddenly, a burning arrow became embedded in the tree trunk in front of them.
"Suspicious individuals ahead, halt immediately!"
A clear, crisp female voice came from the treetops.
Everyone looked up and saw a girl wearing rabbit ear knots drawing her longbow to its full extent, with fire elements dancing on the tip of the arrow.
Paimon exclaimed in alarm, "Wait, she seems to think we're bad guys!"
Just as Ying was about to explain, a synchronized "whoosh" sound suddenly came from behind her—
Qingyu and his three companions had somehow donned black masks, their bodies painted with black and red paint, making them look like members of a dark force. They were also holding...
"Wait! When did you prepare these sacks?!"
Ying turned around in alarm.
Qingyu: "A professional team, ready to go at any time."
