Although Gu Ran's fight had made some noise, the hotel floor was carpeted for soundproofing, and the two hadn't broken anything, so the noise wasn't loud.
The huge roar didn't occur until the monster smashed the television and dented the wall.
They woke up Su Xiaoqiang, who was fast asleep.
She stepped outside and was stunned when she saw the two-meter-tall thing.
The monster was still in a frenzied state, and the appearance of outsiders provoked it.
It immediately rushed towards Su Xiaoqiang.
Su Xiaoqiang stood there blankly.
Gu Ran reacted extremely quickly, immediately gathering chakra and unleashing a Shadow Dance Leaf Kick at the monster.
Gu Ran used all his strength in that kick, and the monster didn't dodge.
Thus, the Shadow Dance Leaf kick landed squarely on the monster's chest.
The monster was kicked and sent flying vertically into the air!
Suddenly, the monster in the air spat out a mouthful of blood from its pierced throat, spraying it onto Gu Ran.
"hiss!"
The monster's blood had a burning sensation, causing a stinging pain to Gu Ran's skin!
The next second, the monster fell to the ground, but was completely unharmed.
It immediately stood up, and strange syllables suddenly came out of its already broken throat.
Gu Ran felt a chill run down his spine. He realized that everything in the room—the shuriken, the hotel clothes rack, the needles—was vibrating!
"go!"
Without a second thought, Gu Ran scooped up Su Xiaoqiang, who was standing there stunned, and rushed out the door.
He closed the door behind him when he left.
The moment the hotel's security door closed, several shurikens pierced through the door panel and embedded themselves in the corridor wall.
Su Xiaoqiang's mind was still buzzing; she hadn't yet grasped the current situation.
She asked blankly, "Who is that person?"
"Kidnappers."
Gu Ran answered casually, and then carried Su Xiaoqiang in a princess carry as he ran.
They quickly reached the emergency staircase.
"Hold tight."
Gu Ran said something to Su Xiaoqiang, and then jumped down the dozen or so steps.
"what!"
Su Xiaoqiang let out a scream.
Her hands instinctively wrapped tightly around Gu Ran's neck, her pretty face pressed against his chest.
That was so exciting!
This is Su Xiaoqiang's mental state at this moment.
After jumping down several flights of stairs, Gu Ran glanced at the floor and realized he had reached the 8th floor.
"Go to the first floor and find a safe place to stay. Don't take the elevator, or you might run into the kidnappers!" He put Su Xiaoqiang down, then turned and jumped upstairs.
"Hey!"
Su Xiaoqiang tried to grab him, but it was too late.
Gu Ran circulated his chakra, and basically jumped one floor at a time.
In less than ten seconds, he was back on the nineteenth floor.
That monster has lost its humanity; we must find a way to deal with it.
Otherwise, if it were to enter a crowd, it would likely cause immense damage.
He returned to the corridor in front of the suite and suddenly spotted five burly men in black combat uniforms.
In their hands, some held daggers, some held axes, and some held military bayonets—all cold weapons.
These people all have Western features.
Occasionally, a "thump-thump" sound could be heard coming from inside the suite's security door.
"Oh my god, I thought you were being whipped in there!" A blond-haired youth breathed a sigh of relief when he saw Gu. "Thank goodness you're still alive."
"Are you Raymond?" Gu Ran recognized his voice.
“That’s right, Gu Ran. Actually, this is our first time meeting in person. We’ve only been talking on the phone before.”
Raymond held a steel dagger in his hand.
He looked warily at the security door of the suite and asked Gu Ran:
"What's all that noise inside? Are they making human flesh char siu buns?"
Raymond had previously worked in Hong Kong and had watched many of the city's horror films.
Gu Ran said, "To make a long story short, the person inside was an A-level. I ambushed him and pierced his spine, but before he died, he injected a strange drug into his leg artery. Now he has turned into a dragon and become a monster without humanity."
Raymond's eyes widened after hearing Gu Ran's words.
"My God! You killed an A-rank? This is the most absurd thing I've ever heard in my life!" Raymond seemed incredulous. "The second absurd thing is that you said the people inside were turning into dragons, freshmen who haven't even enrolled yet! Do you even know what dragonization looks like?"
As soon as Raymond finished speaking, a sharp claw suddenly pierced through the security door.
Fortunately, he was on guard and quickly retreated, which prevented him from getting hurt.
Everyone stared at the claw, stunned.
Gu Ran asked them, "This hand, it can't possibly be Godzilla's claw, can it?"
He was secretly alarmed; the speed of his dragon transformation was accelerating.
What were human hands just moments ago have now transformed into dragon claws.
Without saying a word, Raymond grabbed a fire axe from one of his teammates and chopped directly at the dragon claw!
With a single axe stroke, the dragon's claw broke off.
However, it was not completely severed; some fascia tissue remained connected.
And the unbroken parts of it began to heal at a speed visible to the naked eye.
"Damn it, it really is an A-rank Deadpool!"
Based on the healing speed, Raymond concluded that Gu Ran's words were true.
Raymond, who had worked as an operations specialist for many years, had also participated in the assassination of Deadpool, an A-class assassin.
But he was only involved; he wasn't a key player.
A Deadpool of this rank (A) requires the coordinated efforts of several combat squads and equips them with heavy weapons.
But now, all they have are cold weapons.
"We can't win, let's retreat!"
Raymond made a calm assessment: these guys would just be throwing their lives away if they went up there.
"What will happen to the ordinary people in the hotel if it escapes from the room?"
Gu Ran took the fire axe and chopped at the dragon claw again.
It shattered its claws completely.
Gu Ran put away the axe and narrowed his eyes slightly.
To his astonishment, the wound on the monster's body, where it had been cleaved by the axe, was completely dry.
Chapter 34 Bloodline Rewards
Raymond didn't notice anything unusual about the bleeding. He said to Gu Ran:
“Severing limbs is useless; its vulnerable parts are the heart, head, and nervous system.”
Gu Ran said, "But I had already pierced his cervical spine with a kunai before..."
Before he could finish speaking, he heard a vibration coming from inside the room.
"It's his Word of Power! Get out of the door!"
Gu Ran shouted to the crowd, and the combat team members scattered.
Then we saw the suite's security door being pushed out by a powerful force from inside, slamming into the opposite wall.
At the same time, all the metal in the room sprayed out through the doorway.
This is the effect of Sword Control, which allows you to control metal with magnetism.
Even the kunai that Gu Ran had stuck in the monster's neck was ejected.
This time, the power of the Word of Power was even more astonishing than when Gu Ran escaped with Su Xiaoqiang.
Those present seemed to faintly hear a dragon's roar.
But it was like a hallucination; I heard nothing at all.
A second later, all the noise suddenly fell silent.
There was silence all around.
Raymond, who had stepped aside, cautiously peered towards the door, observed for a moment, and then froze.
Inside the room, a corpse lay on the floor.
Raymond, holding the axe, dared not slacken his efforts.
Gu Ran followed them inside.
He saw the corpse lying on the ground and exchanged a glance with Raymond.
