Whis glanced at Sun Wukong from the side, a slight smile playing on his lips.
There was a brief silence.
"Mr. Goku should have already grasped the sign of Ultra Intent, right?" Whis suddenly asked, his tone tinged with a hint of probing.
"Huh? Ultra Intent Sign?" Sun Wukong was taken aback, a puzzled expression on his face. It was the first time he had ever heard this name.
"When Mr. Goku uses Ultra Instinct in Super Saiyan 5, does his hair turn black?" Whis asked with a smile, a hint of understanding in his eyes.
"You saw it all?" Sun Wukong clicked his tongue in amazement, looking surprised. "I thought nobody knew."
"Hehehe... I saw it by accident. Mr. Goku's progress is truly astounding." Whis laughed heartily, his tone tinged with admiration.
“That’s true, I was wondering about that too…” Sun Wukong nodded in reply, “When you transform into Super Saiyan 5, your hair should turn silver-white, but when you use Ultra Instinct, your hair color turns black instead… However, your strength has greatly increased, and it is obviously stronger than when you transform into Super Saiyan God under the premise of Super Saiyan 5. I just don’t know why this is the case.”
"But speaking of which, how did you know your hair color had turned black?" Weiss asked with a smile, a hint of curiosity in his eyes.
"Ah... After I transformed, there happened to be a mirror outside my house, and I saw it by chance." Sun Wukong scratched his head, grinned, and revealed two rows of white teeth.
"Mr. Goku is truly remarkable. He grasped the basic form of Ultra Instinct so quickly," Mels exclaimed, his eyes filled with admiration.
“But I always feel like something’s not quite right…” Sun Wukong scratched his head, a puzzled look on his face. “Compared to Merus’s Ultra Instinct, it’s still far from perfect. It doesn’t feel complete yet.”
“What you’re describing is called Ultra Instinct Sign, but it’s not true Ultra Instinct,” Whis explained patiently, a hint of seriousness in his eyes. “If you can comprehend true Ultra Instinct, then when you use it under the premise of Super Saiyan 5, you can have the strength of Super Saiyan 7, and your strength will undergo a qualitative leap.”
"Super Saiyan 7... I can't even imagine how strong that would be." Goku grinned, a look of surprise on his face, and then asked curiously, "So what should we call it now? We can't just stay nameless forever."
“Super Saiyan 6.5,” Whis replied after a moment’s thought.
Sun Wukong: "..."
“Mr. Weiss…do you always name people so casually?” A bead of cold sweat appeared on Sun Wukong’s forehead, and he couldn’t help but wipe it away. This name was too strange.
“Super Saiyan 6.5 is named after your son Goten’s Super Saiyan 5.5, which makes perfect sense.” Whis laughed and thought there was nothing wrong with the name.
Sun Wukong secretly wiped his sweat and glanced in the direction of Sun Wutian.
Sun Wutian seemed to notice his father's gaze and looked over in their direction, a puzzled expression on his face.
There was a pause.
"And what about the name Super Saiyan Blue? Did you just pick that out casually too?" Goku asked again, quite curious about the name.
“I didn’t name it,” Weiss shook his head, immediately disclaiming any involvement.
The name "Super Saiyan Blue" seems to be a name I came up with from another timeline.
The other version of me in that timeline has absolutely nothing to do with me, so we can't confuse them.
"Besides, isn't the naming method for Super Saiyan Blue quite straightforward? The color is blue, so just call it Blue. It's easy to remember," Whis said to Goku with a smile, a hint of smugness in his tone.
"It's indeed very direct and vivid; you can tell what it looks like at a glance." Sun Wukong nodded seriously, but then his eyes caught sight of the six Super Dragon Balls floating in the sky, radiating dazzling light. He couldn't help but ask again, "Whis, are you sure the Super Dragon Balls won't generate any negative energy?"
"No, Mr. Goku, you can rest assured. The Super Dragon Balls are different from the regular Dragon Balls, and this situation will not occur," Whis affirmed repeatedly, his tone very firm.
"If the Super Dragon Balls were to generate some kind of negative energy... what enormous monsters would appear! Just thinking about it is terrifying." Goku's lips twitched, and his expression became more solemn. The shadow of his previous life still lingered in his mind.
"Oh dear, Mr. Wukong, are you frightened by the negative energy from your previous life?" Whis laughed, noticing Sun Wukong's worry.
"Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have come into this world and experienced so many things. I really don't want to encounter a similar situation again." Sun Wukong nodded in acknowledgment, his tone tinged with emotion.
The battle in the arena continued, and its intensity showed no signs of abating.
Vegeta and Hit have been fighting for 10 minutes. Both of them have exhausted a lot of their stamina, but their fighting spirit has not diminished at all.
For a time, the two changed their positions constantly in the air, exchanging blows and using all sorts of moves, making for a very exciting fight, with the surrounding air waves spreading out in layers.
Vegeta clicked his tongue in amazement, secretly marveling that Hit was indeed a formidable opponent, able to fight him for so long.
"boom!"
The two exchanged another punch, and a dull thud was heard as their fists collided.
Vegeta punched Hit in the cheek, causing Hit's head to tilt to the side.
Hit's fist struck Vegeta mercilessly in the chest, and Vegeta groaned.
Blood seeped from the corners of their mouths, but they didn't care, their eyes still filled with a thirst for battle.
"Not bad, Hit. You have every right to be proud of yourself for being able to withstand so many of my attacks." Vegeta's face was filled with fighting spirit as he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth.
"You're no simple character either, much stronger than the one I encountered in my previous life," Hit chuckled, wiping the blood from the corner of his mouth as he lowered his voice and asked, "How long have you been reborn? Judging by your strength, you must have been reborn for quite some time now."
“More than 10 years, I guess,” Vegeta replied, a hint of smugness in his eyes, then asked, “And you?”
“Three months,” Hitt replied calmly.
Vegeta: "..."
Vegeta felt a pang of pain in his heart and felt very uncomfortable.
Has he become this strong in just three months since his rebirth?
I've been reborn for over 10 years! The difference is just too big.
"Ten years and this is all you've got?" Hit sneered, a contemptuous smile on his face, deliberately provoking Vegeta.
"Stop looking down on me!" Vegeta said angrily, baring his teeth. "You were reborn later than me, right? Your starting point was higher than mine, so what's there to be proud of?"
"After the competition with your universe ended, several years passed. I was reborn while participating in the Tournament of Power," Hit answered truthfully without hiding anything.
"Tournament of Power? What's that?" Vegeta was taken aback, a confused expression on his face.
"You'll find out later. Saying it now might have consequences, right? It wouldn't be good if it changed history." Hit didn't intend to go into details, as it's always better to be cautious about such matters.
Vegeta nodded, agreeing with Hit's assessment.
If I knew about the Tournament of Power now, I might change my behavior and thus influence the course of history.
"In short, let me remind you, the Tournament of Power is very important!" Hit's expression became more solemn, and his tone became serious. "Without the Tournament of Power, many universes will probably disappear immediately, and then it will be too late."
"The universe will disappear? Why? How could a perfectly good universe just disappear?" Vegeta was stunned for a moment, his expression changing repeatedly, his heart filled with shock and confusion.
"That's all I can say. Figure out the rest yourself." Hit didn't intend to continue, feeling that saying too much was inappropriate.
Vegeta: "..."
Only say half of what you mean!
This guy is shameless, he's really keeping us in suspense.
"If the universe is going to disappear... then there's only one reason... you mean... it was the Omni-King who did it?" Vegeta reacted quickly, immediately thinking of the most likely person, and hurriedly asked in a low voice, his eyes showing a hint of tension.
Hit was taken aback, but then it dawned on him. He hadn't expected Vegeta to guess so quickly.
However, Hitler quickly came to terms with it.
After all, the Omni-King will appear at the end of this match, at least that was the case in the previous life. I wonder if things will be different in this life.
Hitt: “…”
Hit fell silent. He knew he couldn't continue talking; if he did, he felt Vegeta would extract all his secrets from him.
This Vegeta is much smarter than the one in his previous life, so we can't let our guard down.
"If nothing unexpected happens, Lord Zeno will appear soon, and then we might know the answer," Vegeta mused, a hint of anticipation and nervousness in his eyes.
“Yes, yes.” Hide nodded. “So pray well… pray that the Tournament of Power will go smoothly, or everything will be over.”
"So, if there were no Tournament of Power, Lord Zeno would have erased both of our universes, right?" Vegeta asked again, needing to confirm this.
"As far as I know, it's not just our two universes; it seems only four universes remain, while the other eight have all been erased. This is all the Omni-King's intention," Hit answered truthfully. Since things had come to this point, he decided to reveal a little more to Vegeta, hoping to draw his attention.
Moreover, the convening of the Tournament of Power was closely related to Sun Wukong.
If Sun Wukong hadn't been so powerful, there probably wouldn't have been a tournament of power.
Hit knew that in his previous life, the Omni-King felt that there were too many universes and that managing them was too troublesome, so he decided to erase the eight universes with relatively low comprehensive index levels, leaving only the first, fifth, eighth, and twelfth universes.
It was only because Goku kept pestering Zeno to hold a martial arts tournament for the entire universe that Zeno changed his mind and decided to give these eight universes a chance to hold a tournament of power, in which the losing universe would be wiped out on the spot.
In the end, Universe 6 lost and was wiped out by the Omni-King himself.
As for what happened next, Hitt knew nothing about it.
Because after the universe was erased, Hit woke up to find himself reborn.
However, judging from the situation at the time, Goku was far from being a match for Jiren. It seems that in the end, Universe 11 may have survived, while the other seven universes were erased.
Hit was thinking too much for a moment. Having been given a second chance at life, he certainly didn't want the tragedy of his previous life to repeat itself. He wanted to change everything.
"This is more terrifying than you can imagine! You'd better watch yourself, Vegeta!" Hit chuckled self-deprecatingly, his tone tinged with helplessness.
Vegeta fell silent, his expression turning unusually grave. He knew Hit was telling the truth; the Omni-King truly possessed such power and was capable of such a feat.
"So, who did you lose to in the end? Was it Jiren, the one Kakarot mentioned?" Vegeta asked.
“That’s right, it’s him. His strength is unfathomable. Neither I nor Goku are his match.” Hide nodded, his eyes growing more serious as he thought of Jiren.
“Jiren… I’ll remember him. I’ll definitely meet him when I get the chance.” Vegeta’s voice was low as he clenched his fists tightly. Suddenly, the corners of his mouth turned up in a slight smile, as if he was filled with anticipation for this powerful opponent.
Seeing Vegeta's expression, Hit was slightly taken aback, not understanding why he reacted this way.
"Now that you've met Jiren, how much of a gap do you think there is between you and him now?" Vegeta asked again, wanting to know the distance between himself and the top powerhouses.
"How big is the gap?" Hit frowned and said in a deep voice, "At least for now, the strength of the two of us is completely insufficient compared to his. We need to work harder to cultivate, otherwise we will only suffer a crushing defeat."
"Then... I'll show you my true strength! I'll show you that these past 10 years haven't been wasted." Vegeta's smile grew even brighter, his eyes brimming with confidence.
"You... what did you say? Your true strength?" Hit was stunned, his pupils contracted, and he looked at Vegeta in disbelief. He did not expect that Vegeta had actually hidden his strength.
"You think Super Saiyan Blue is my true power? You're sorely mistaken. This is just the tip of the iceberg." Vegeta smiled smugly, his tone tinged with arrogance.
Hitt's face was filled with utter shock, and he cursed inwardly.
The Saiyans are shameless! They've fought all this way and they're still hiding their strength!
unacceptable.
"Let's go down and settle this in the ring." After Vegeta finished speaking, he immediately fell from the air and slowly landed on the ring. The ring trembled slightly when his feet touched the ground.
Hit then descended from the sky, appearing directly opposite Vegeta, his eyes filled with wariness and curiosity.
Hit wanted to see just how strong Vegeta really was.
The two had been dawdling in the sky, chatting as they fought, which was witnessed by many spectators. Everyone watched with great interest, and no one condemned them too much, since such a wonderful duel is rare.
It's not unreasonable to chat a bit during a match.
