Chapter 1084: The Baby Is Born
Chapter 1084: The Baby Is Born
Chase Fletcher accompanied his wife for the final prenatal check-up, everything went smoothly, and the umbilical cord didn’t entangle the baby’s neck.
Faye Turner and Mrs. Fletcher stayed by Rachel Sherman’s side, while June stayed with her mom for a while before being taken away by Grandpa, as they worried her crying might affect Rachel’s condition.
June was a bit curious about the unfamiliar hospital environment as Grandpa carried her around, wearing a little mask.
The check-up results were all normal, meeting the conditions for a natural delivery.
Plus, the cervix was halfway dilated, and since Rachel was having her second child, the baby should be born today.
Chase Fletcher didn’t accompany her inside, but Faye Turner, another girl, went in, which made Rachel feel at ease, and Chase felt at ease too.
She put on sterile clothing, representing The Fletcher Family, holding Rachel’s hand tightly, staying by her side, softly comforting her, "Don’t be afraid, I’m here."
Constantly cheering her on, "Your baby must be very cute, the doctor said, single baby weighs six pounds."
Though The Fletcher waiting outside the delivery room had a premonition that everything would go smoothly, they were still worried about the daughter-in-law, understanding the pain she was enduring at that moment.
"Chase, later when you have small disagreements in marriage, remember your feelings now, you should be more accommodating to her."
Mrs. Fletcher looked at her son, "A woman giving birth for a man is a great sacrifice. You won’t experience the pain of childbirth, but the child is also half yours."
"Yes, Mom’s right." Chase Fletcher took a deep breath, "This is very unfair, men don’t endure pain but enjoy the joy. Don’t worry; we won’t have disagreements, we’ll definitely live happily."
"Also, don’t neglect June." Mrs. Fletcher reminded somewhat worriedly.
"Of course, I will be better to her."
Mrs. Fletcher raised her gaze to interrupt, "Not better, if you’re better to her but it’s called treating differently. Today’s children are very sensitive, you should discipline her as if she is your own!"
Chase Fletcher suddenly remembered how in his childhood, when he was naughty, his parents spoke no more and directly disciplined him, he couldn’t help but smile, "Don’t worry, the kids won’t be as naughty as me."
"Hopefully!" Mrs. Fletcher glanced at her son and couldn’t help but sigh; they have grown up in a blink of an eye.
At this moment, the elevator doors opened, and Kylie Fletcher hurriedly came out, immediately seeing the figures outside the delivery room—
"Mom! Bro!" She lifted her steps running forward, "How is sister-in-law doing?"
"Just entered the delivery room, the doctor said she was going to give birth, and everything checked out smoothly."
Hearing this answer, Kylie Fletcher also breathed a sigh of relief.
After a while, Granny Hughes also came over, accompanied by Ben Fletcher, while Mr. Fletcher took a stroll around the hospital holding June and returned to the delivery room.
Everyone waited patiently, silently praying, showing their great importance to Rachel.
"Come, Dad will hold." Chase Fletcher picked up June from his father.
June, who was around three years old, inherited all of her mom’s advantages and was getting prettier.
She came to The Fletcher Family with her mom at a very young age, so her memories only included Chase Fletcher as her dad.
A few hours later, in the delivery room, with a loud cry, a baby boy came out first.
"It’s born, it’s a boy." Faye Turner tightly held Rachel’s hand, happily telling her, "You’ve got both a son and a daughter now, Rachel."
Rachel showed a smile on her sweat-soaked face; she was naturally very happy.
"Wait a moment and keep pushing." the doctor said to her, "When you have a sense of descent according to your contractions."
"Okay." Rachel, already somewhat exhausted, closed her eyes and took a deep breath, starting to recuperate.
Soon, the second baby came out too, it was a girl, indeed a pair of dragon and phoenix twins.
Faye Turner felt happy for her.
