Chapter 403 Flame Heavy Truck
Chapter 403 Flame Heavy Truck
Chapter 403 Flame Heavy Truck
A highway that doesn't exist on any map, characterized by skinned corpses nailed to utility poles every ten meters.
A burning church, inside which worshippers are still kneeling in prayer.
A torrential rain composed of blood fell for five days, flooding a town.
In the darkness, the flames flickered and transformed into a burning skull.
The skull looked around, seemingly choosing a direction, and then a body riding a motorcycle and wearing a leather jacket appeared below its head, both covered in flames and thick smoke.
"Revenge! Revenge!"
Ghost Rider roared and charged forward, his skull-like hands twisting the throttle wildly, before plunging headfirst into a small hill.
This is a mine with its underground hollowed out. Following the mine tunnel, at the end there is a huge mine shaft, inside which a fat monster with skin that is sticky and uneven like melted candle is chewing something with relish.
In front of the monster was a table with lit candles, and behind the table knelt a middle-aged, overweight man who was piously dragging a homeless man at his feet toward the monster so that it could take what it needed.
This was the same scene as every Friday, but something was different today. The roar of motorcycle engines suddenly rose from the end of the mine tunnel, and a flash of light appeared in the darkness.
The clanging sound of chains reached the middle-aged man's ears. He hurriedly stood up, looking nervous. Before he could make any further movements, the chains had already arrived before the motorcycle.
The iron chain, still wreathed in flames, wrapped around the middle-aged man's neck and pulled him backward, causing his head to dangle from the ground and roll several times.
The monster, already on high alert, crushed the rolling head with its stomp and opened its mouth to say to the newcomer:
How did you know I was here?
Ghost Rider didn't answer the monster's question. He simply swerved the motorcycle to a stop at the mine tunnel exit, then raised his fingerbone and pointed it at the monster:
"repent!"
"I never repent."
The monster raised its fifteen fingers one by one, and sharp claws sprang from its fingertips as it grabbed at Ghost Rider.
"I know you. You are the flame that leaves us in the shadows. You deserve to be extinguished, and your era should be ended."
Chains pierced through the monster's body from all sides, lifting it into the air.
"...And our time should come!"
Clang!
The chains suddenly tightened and began to twitch like a saw. Ghost Rider twisted the throttle sharply, propelling himself up the monster's body and into the air.
Then he turned the motorcycle around in mid-air, causing the flaming motorcycle to crash heavily onto the monster's head.
Then Ghost Rider twisted the brake and throttle at the same time. As the rear tire of the Ghost Rider spun at high speed, flames shot out backward, gradually wearing away the monster's head.
Only after the monster had completely turned into flames under the tire did Ghost Rider raise his neck, and countless chains automatically slung across his body.
"I will ride again someday."
After saying that, Ghost Rider rushed into the mine without looking back, letting the remaining flames completely blast the small mountain apart.
Amidst the sirens of fire trucks and the shouts of nearby residents, Ghost Rider continued eastward, heading towards the rising sun.
He clearly remembered that the mysterious psychologist had told him to go see him if he felt lost.
He is currently feeling lost.
Johnny woke up in a pine forest at dawn, his hair studded with pine needles, his mouth full of dirt, and his hands covered in black ash.
The motorcycle lay on the ground beside me.
"I had that dream again last night."
Johnny covered his head and muttered to himself that he was dreaming about riding a fire motorcycle again.
"That psychiatrist—I need to find him; he seems like he can help me."
Johnny Blaze picked up the motorcycle and found that there wasn't a single drop of fuel left in the tank.
Helpless, he could only push the cart along the road and find a restaurant to eat something casually in the evening.
However, the nearest gas station was still more than 100 kilometers away from his location.
In order to find the mysterious psychologist as soon as possible, Johnny had no choice but to keep pushing his motorcycle forward.
On the way, he encountered two cars that had been involved in an accident blocking the road. Johnny couldn't just ignore it, so he helped the victims open the car doors and rescued them.
One was a private car, and the other was a truck transporting live pigs, but the pigs were all dead on the ground, making the road almost soaked in blood.
But before Johnny could save everyone, a heavy truck came rushing out from around the bend and drove straight toward him without slowing down at all.
"roar!"
Johnny let out a low growl as a piece of skin peeled off his face.
It wasn't completely dark yet, so he couldn't transform into a vengeful spirit. But with innocent people in imminent danger, he rushed over without hesitation and used all his strength to pull one of them out of the car. The two of them fell to the side of the road together.
Beep!
The truck's headlights suddenly turned on, and a loud horn blared, making their ears ache.
The heavy truck ran over the car that was parked in the middle of the road due to the accident without slowing down, making a loud crash.
The cries for help from the innocent survivors inside the car abruptly ceased, and a spurt of hot blood sprayed onto Johnny's face.
"The blood of the innocent is like gasoline spilled on the ground; it ignites at the slightest touch."
The words flashed through Johnny's mind. He felt a dull ache in his wound and couldn't help but kneel down on the ground, whimpering.
"The only guy you managed to save looked in horror at the leather-clad man who was starting to smoke, and he was interrupted before he could even open his mouth:"
"Run, run!"
"Run now—you don't want to stay here any longer!"
The sun seemed to fear this man who was gradually bursting with fire, and it suddenly plunged below the horizon.
"I will ride again on the road, on every road that stitches this ugly, hungry world together—"
Johnny Blaze has disappeared, replaced by the flaming Ghost Rider.
The only guy he saved was cowering in place, trembling with fear; he could hardly believe what he had just seen.
Even more unbelievable, the fire-skinned figure, dressed in leather and with an iron chain slung over his shoulder, strode up to the wrecked transport truck and placed his skeletal hand on it.
All that could be heard was a metallic clanging sound as the transport truck, like a greedy beast, relentlessly devoured the flames emanating from the Ghost Rider.
Amidst the raging orange-red flames, the transport truck's appearance began to transform from front to back.
The eighteen wheels were completely covered in flames, and the huge front shovel in front of the vehicle was like a sharp tooth, or rather, the entire front of the vehicle looked like a terrifying fiery skull when viewed from the front.
The two snorkels on the left and right were raised high, spewing out flames. The long cargo box behind the front of the truck was stacked in sections, forming a thick metal armor, with huge spikes covering the entire truck.
Ghost Rider grabbed the motorcycle, which was out of gas, and threw it into the truck before getting into the cab himself.
