Chapter 396 The Conditions for the Supreme Being's Extraordinary Move
After Wolverine turned into a zombie, he ate the flesh from Deadpool's buttocks. After regaining consciousness, he vomited repeatedly, but his hunger made his zombie carnivorous instincts suppress his consciousness, so he had to pick up the vomited flesh and swallow it.
Connors felt nauseous just thinking about it, but Deadpool fed the zombie Wolverine this way at least ten times. No wonder the now-normal Wolverine was so vulnerable.
Dr. Banner was the last to emerge from the dimensional portal. He smiled politely at Connors, looking every bit the nice guy.
"Who is this? Aren't you going to introduce him to us?"
Of the four people who remained in the zombie universe, Wolverine was relatively enthusiastic because Connors had given him two bottles of wine earlier. He pointed at Zatanna and asked her a question.
“Zatanna and I come from the same place,” Connors said. “In my world, she is the most powerful magician.”
Doctor Strange, the Dark Lord whose cloak was adorned with six Infinity Stones, scoffed, unconcerned by Connors's words.
In the realm of magic, Dr. Strange believed he had reached the end, and in his view, Connors' claim that Zatanna was the most powerful sorcerer was nothing more than empty words to amuse a woman.
Rather than looking like a magician, Zatanna looks more like a magician.
"Come on, let's drink. You said you'd drink with me until we were both drunk next time we came back." Wolverine pulled Connors away.
"Let me finish something first before I go with you," Connors said, patting Wolverine on the shoulder.
"What could be so important?" Wolverine asked, puzzled.
Deadpool's legs had now fully healed, and he was able to stand up.
"Why would a man and a woman specifically choose a world where species are extinct? Don't you understand? Is your brain only filled with alcohol?"
Wolverine's claws, which he had just retracted, sprang out again, ready to poke Deadpool a few times with his taunt skills maxed out, when Connors reached out and stopped him:
"Stop hitting me, I really have important business to attend to here."
Wolverine watched as Connors withdrew his claws, clearly giving Connors face.
"Do you remember the culprit that caused this world to become overrun with zombies?" Connors asked.
"Zombie virus?" Dr. Banner said from the side.
"No, it's the person who created the zombie virus, 'Mr. Fantastic' Reed," Doctor Strange corrected.
Connors snapped his fingers:
"That's right, it's him. I came here hoping to gather the power of the three great mages and wipe him out in one fell swoop."
"Wait a minute." Doctor Strange quickly gestured that he didn't quite understand:
"Wasn't he already dead?"
As soon as he finished speaking, Doctor Strange seemed to realize something:
"Are you referring to Mr. Fantastic from another world?"
Connors gave Strange a thumbs-up to indicate he was right, but the Sorcerer Supreme still had doubts:
"But there's still one problem, one, two—"
Strange pointed to himself and Zatanna:
"There are only two magicians here."
"Don't I count?" Deadpool poked his head out from behind Connors' shoulder and said in a high-pitched voice, mimicking Connors' voice.
Connors flicked Deadpool's forehead with his finger, then ignored the comical figure jumping around exaggeratedly while clutching his head.
"No, there's one more, someone you know."
After he finished speaking, a crimson light drifted from the mysterious house to the group. When the fog cleared, Wanda, the Scarlet Witch, appeared before Strange.
Strange felt his eyelids twitch. He took two steps back imperceptibly, and six slippery, thick tentacles extended from behind him, each ending in a mysterious ring.
A cloak inlaid with six Infinity Stones also extended halfway from the side, blocking the view in front of her.
"Don't be afraid, I've regained my senses," Wanda said, looking at Strange's overly cautious demeanor.
Doctor Strange glanced at Connors.
"Don't worry, I guarantee she won't lose control," Connors reassured her.
Wolverine and Bruce Banner watched Doctor Strange with some confusion, but Doctor Strange remained cautious:
"I value my life more than anyone else right now. I don't want anything to go wrong before I can even revive my fiancée."
"If it's just about bringing her back to life, then I can help you," Wanda said.
After she regained consciousness, Connors told her about what had happened in the zombie universe.
"If you can do it, whatever you're going to do next, I'll give it my all," Doctor Strange said generously.
Wanda glanced at Connors for permission, and after receiving it, said to Doctor Strange:
Tell me your fiancée's birthday, appearance, and name.
Doctor Strange hesitated for a moment, then the six tentacles behind him began to wave in the air using their magic rings.
Amidst a fusion of gold and black sparks, a portrait of his fiancée, Christine Palmer, appeared in the air, along with the information Wanda was demanding.
"Is that all?" Doctor Strange looked a little nervous; he had been waiting for this moment for far too long.
"Step back a bit to avoid any accidents." Wanda's ten fingers began to dance, and streaks of scarlet ink lingered in the air as her fingers moved.
"What accident?" Strange became even more nervous.
"Resurrection? Can I get closer to watch? Don't worry, I'll protect myself. Barrier!"
Zatanna was so excited to see magic she had never seen before upon arriving in this world that she almost jumped for joy. She cast a magical barrier around herself and was about to rush over.
Zatanna's passion for knowledge is almost as great as my passion for gossip—Connors couldn't help but cover his face.
Dr. Banner jogged for about three or four hundred meters before stopping, but by the time he finally stopped, Scarlet Witch had already finished casting her spell:
"I summon Morrigan and command you to use my crimson magic as a source to find a woman named Christine Palmer and bring her, as she exists in the current timeline, before me!"
hum!
The crimson magic transformed into thousands of magical symbols in the air, each symbol constantly changing and moving, forming in the air a graceful female figure dressed in a thin veil.
This is the "Morian" mentioned by the Scarlet Witch, the "Hum," the god of illusion in Celtic mythology.
Morrigan seemed very dissatisfied with Scarlet Witch Wanda's commanding tone, but instead of resisting, she twisted her waist to create a scarlet vortex in the air and plunged into it.
Without a moment's delay, Morian came out immediately after going in, carrying a young woman with a pretty face, wearing a white nurse's uniform and cap, and orange hair.
