Chapter 383 Heretics and Rebels Fear My Divine Light

Lord Green Lantern Hal encountered Trigon.

The once empty space was suddenly enveloped by a swirling, gray mist that covered everything in sight.

Hal had no idea what Sannomiya was up to, but that didn't stop him from conjuring up a giant wind cannon, carrying it on his shoulder, and blasting it towards himself.

As the fog dissipated, what appeared before my eyes was no longer the vast, dark universe, but rather a strange world. Strange rocks hung upside down above, and a blood-red lake lay beneath my feet. For a moment, I couldn't tell which way was up or down.

"Lord's Green Light" Hal didn't care about the scenery in front of him at all, and controlled the giant mech that had been conjured up to smash things.

Sangu Demon seemed unwilling to fight such a reckless man as Hal, and he vanished into the lake in a flash.

"You like to hide things?"

Hal grinned as he sat in the cockpit, and the Green Light Ring transformed once more, turning his mech into a garbage truck, even leisurely creating a pile of trash.

The stench made Connors' vision go black, and the foul-smelling garbage was dumped into the blood-red lake where the Three Palaces Demon was hiding.

The Three Palace Demons, who were in the lake, obviously did not expect Hal to play so dirty. The blood-red lake immediately burst into flames, emitting a foul, burnt smell, and the lake water surged upwards.

The lake water rose higher and higher, gradually twisting and changing its shape to resemble the Three Palace Demon.

He was engulfed in black and red flames, and he swung one hand sharply to his side.

With a splash, the crimson lake water seemed to be summoned, gathering in Sangu Demon's hand to form a greatsword.

With a roar from the Three Palace Demon, he gripped the greatsword with both hands and slashed wildly at Hal.

Hal was dumping trash into the lake when he sensed something was wrong and immediately pressed a button next to him. The garbage truck that appeared from the green light immediately activated the seat ejection function, launching Hal onto the strange rock hanging upside down above his head.

Standing on the strange rocks, Lord Green Lantern Hal Jordan's entire body was turned upside down, and he and Trigon simultaneously looked up at each other.

"I thought you would enjoy being one with filth."

Hal mercilessly mocked Sangu, the green light ring on his right hand shining brightly once more, as he prepared to defeat Sangu Demon in one fell swoop.

"It has to be someone handsome. Connors and Clark have always been the ones stealing the show. This time it's finally my turn, Hal."

Hal muttered to himself and was about to make his move. He did a backflip and knelt on one knee. A weapon that was more like a sniper cannon than a sniper rifle began to take shape, with the muzzle positioned above the strange rock he had just been standing on.

That's enough.

Sannomiya wielded a giant sword, flames raging from his body, instantly filling the entire space with a foul stench and scorching heat.

His body grew brighter and brighter, as if he had transformed into a burning sun.

"Say your name, and I will make this your final resting place."

Shouting loudly, Sannomiya charged towards Hal simultaneously.

The Sangu Demon was already tall, and now, with flames burning all over his body and a greatsword almost as tall as himself in his hand, he charged forward. His mere presence was enough to terrify any ordinary person.

But Hal Jordan didn't care. He simply adjusted the muzzle, aimed at Triple Demon's head, and pulled the trigger.

A deafening roar, so loud it sent strange rocks crashing into the blood-red lake, rang out, followed by the firing of a large, green, spiral-shaped bullet from the cannon.

A green light, like a straight line, ran from top to bottom through the bizarre world created by Sangu Ma, with Sangu Ma herself running through the middle.

The bullet shot vertically downwards from the top of his head and out from the soles of his feet. Sangu Ma's eyes rolled back and he was suspended in the air, seemingly strung along the green light trail. The flames on his body also began to extinguish.

"One more shot!"

Hal grinned and was about to pull the trigger again, confident that he could kill Sangu Demon with just one more bullet.

"Energy remaining at 10%, please recharge as soon as possible."

Just then, Hal's green light ring sounded an alarm, slowing his finger from pulling the trigger.

In that brief moment of slowness, the strange rock beneath Hal began to change.

The upside-down strange rocks were already sharp, but now they became even sharper, and the color of the rocks turned yellowish-black, with an extremely sticky surface.

Connors, watching closely, clearly saw that the strange rocks around the blood-red lake also rose from the ground, turning the same yellowish-black color as overhead.

He blinked, and "Athena's Vision" allowed Connors to see his surroundings clearly again.

The blood-red lake transformed into a forked scarlet tongue, while the strange rocks above and below became unevenly sized sharp teeth.

This is not some space that suddenly appeared in the universe; it is clearly a gigantic, blood-red maw created by the Three Palaces Demon.

The mouth was slowly closing, and Hal's green light energy was insufficient, clearly preventing him from pulling the trigger again to finish off the Sangu Demon. "Hal, do you need help?"

Connors noticed Hal's pale face and quickly asked...

"I've always considered myself far stronger than Superman. I'm the Green Lantern, responsible for cosmic order. I'm Hal—I don't need Hal's support," Jordan said through gritted teeth, as gaping maws above and below him threatened to devour and grind him to dust.

At the critical moment, all the remaining energy of the Green Lantern Ring frantically constructed a protective barrier around Hal.

"I don't need this. Convert all the energy into weapons!"

Seeing that Hal was about to be bitten to pieces, he did not rely on the protective barrier to withstand it, but instead had the Green Lantern Ring conjure up the last bullet.

The Three Palace Demon still floated in the air, but as its gaping maw snapped shut, its form began to become ethereal and indistinct, clearly indicating that this was not the Three Palace Demon's true form.

This enormous mouth, covering everything within sight, is probably the real one.

Hal then turned the cannon around and pulled the trigger, firing a bullet into the distance.

click!

The giant maw closed, and Connors hovered in space, looking at the pitch-black space before him. Sangu Demon stood not far away, licking his lips.

"Your companion has already been eaten by me, aren't you going to escape?"

Hal was probably going to kill himself. Just as Connors was about to take action himself, a green light burst forth from the eyes of the Three Palace Demon.

The green light projected a giant lantern shape in front of the Three Palaces Demon, while Hal's voice grew from weak to firm, from ethereal to mighty:

"The daytime is bright and clear, the night is dark and boundless."

The allure is inescapable.

Those who follow heretical sects and rebels fear my divine light.

May the green light shine forever!
