Connors nearly tricked the Invisible Woman into having a tumor in the House of Mystery, while a massive event was unfolding outside.
It involved all the superheroes present, as well as events across the entire country:
Wakanda was flooded.
As the white line on the horizon became more and more visible, the shallows on the shore were once again covered by the sea, and the coastline gradually advanced towards the land of Wakanda, the superheroes realized what was happening.
The flying superheroes rushed to stop Namor from unleashing another tsunami, but Namor, now wielding the trident with increasing skill, was no longer the same as before, and those who tried to stop him were all defeated.
Black Panther ordered Wakanda's ground-to-air turrets to attack, but Namor was flying at a high enough altitude to miss.

The seawater continued to spread, and by this time it had completely submerged the plains of Wakanda, but fortunately the water level was not too deep, only reaching the ankles.
Fish and shellfish are constantly being washed ashore in the water. Wakanda's heavily armored rhinos begin to go berserk; they can wallow in fresh mud, but this is salty seawater.

The moment a hint of doubt arose in her mind, she heard Namor's trident point towards the Wakanda royal palace:
"Compared to saving the future of mutants, I'd rather expand my Atlantis empire. You're capable of protecting yourself, aren't you?"
"No wonder Namor didn't take this person away," the Invisible Woman thought to herself.
Namor was speaking to Connors, who nodded in agreement.
"Don't worry, Susan told me they have a shelter that can protect me."
“A sanctuary? That’s true, then the phoenix won’t be able to find you,” Namor said.
Upon hearing Namor mention "Phoenix," Susan's initial doubts subsided, and her belief that Connors was Hope became even stronger.
Watching Namor fly across the water toward the Wakanda palace, "Invisible Woman" Susan felt she couldn't stay afloat forever, constantly worried about being discovered by others that Connors was with her.
"We need to go underwater," Susan said, as an invisible force field expanded, covering her and Connors' heads like two diving helmets.
Connors had no objections; having the ability to breathe underwater, he followed Susan into the water.
Susan, the "Invisible Woman," lay horizontally in the water. Connors looked left and right, then simply mounted her as if riding a horse.
