Chapter 293 Old Wolf's Psychological Trauma
"Magnification" plus "Hypnosis"!
Connors had never used this combination before, but now, when facing "Zombie Wolverine," whose abilities were mostly ineffective, this ability finally proved surprisingly effective.
With a heart-wrenching howl from "Zombie Wolverine," large chunks of flesh were torn from his body and fell to the ground with a thud.
Driven by his "zombie" instincts, "Zombie Wolverine" stared intently at the chunks of flesh that had fallen from his body on the ground, his mouth almost splitting open to his ears, as if he wanted to pick up the pieces of flesh and swallow them.
But the two Amazonian warriors used their Lasso of Truth to firmly bind "Zombie Wolverine's" hands, keeping him tightly bound in place.
First the muscles, then the internal organs; the "zombie virus" has completely corroded "Wolverine" from the inside out.
However, under the effects of "amplification" and "hypnosis," these zombie viruses detached from Logan's body and fell to the ground, attempting to form a new humanoid shape on their own.
Now the "lock-picking master" could finally be put to use. Connors "locked" the fallen flesh and blood containing the "zombie virus" on the ground, making it completely inactive.
As flesh and internal organs were ripped away, leaving only a skeleton, the roar of the "zombie Wolverine" grew fainter and fainter. When the last piece of flesh containing the "zombie virus" fell to the ground, the teeth on his skull clenched tightly together, and he didn't utter another sound.
This is also partly related to the vocal cords falling to the ground.
All the zombie virus completely left Wolverine's body, but Connors continued, only this time using the "Magnify" ability alone.
He was able to amplify Zatanna's magic on Earth years ago, so amplifying Wolverine's healing factor is now a piece of cake.
In almost a few seconds, Wolverine, now only a skeleton made of adamantium, regenerated and returned to being a normal mutant. The two Amazonian princesses closed their eyes together, only opening them again when Connors brought Wolverine Logan a suit from the Mystery House and put it on him.
After Wolverine regained his health and put on his clothes, the first thing he did wasn't to thank Connors, but instead, clutching his stomach and bending over, he rushed into the nearby ruins.
"Ugh~"
The regenerated stomach contained no food, but Wolverine still dry heaved for a long time before panting as he returned to Connors' side and plopped down on the ground.
After a long while, "Wolverine" Logan seemed to have regained some strength. He stood up and looked at Connors:
"Thanks, bro. Ugh~"
He had barely opened his mouth when he started gagging again. Connors vaguely understood why, but the two Amazon princesses did not:
"What's wrong with him? Is there still virus residue left?"
Thankfully, there were two Dianas present. If there had been two Harleys, they would have definitely asked "Wolverine" if he was experiencing morning sickness—Connors thought to himself, feeling incredibly lucky, and explained:
"When Old Wolf was a zombie, he might have eaten something unclean."
For example, Deadpool's butt.
"Ugh!"
Wolverine, who was almost able to suppress his nausea, rushed into the ruins and started gagging again upon hearing this.
Connors stood still, not rushing over to fawn over "Wolverine" Logan like he would a little girl, but instead waiting until Logan emerged from the ruins again before retrieving a bottle of chilled beer from the mysterious house and handing it to him.
"Have a drink? It should make you feel much better."
Logan, aka "Wolverine," gave Connors a grateful look, then took the bottle without a word and gulped it down in one go.
After experiencing turning into a zombie and biting Deadpool's butt, Wolverine might develop a psychological aversion to Deadpool...
Connors looked around and realized that he had been busy for a long time but hadn't seen Deadpool. He wondered where the guy had gone.
"Don't bother looking, that guy opened a portal and ran away before you arrived."
"Wolverine" seemed to realize who Connors was looking for. He was clearly feeling much better after drinking the beer and spoke up.
"Let's just ignore him then. Even the zombie virus can't do anything to him anyway," Connors said nonchalantly, glancing at the desolate ruins around him. "I'm afraid there's no one left in this world except for the Hulk, Logan."
"Wolverine" nodded. Although in his zombie state, all he could think about was eating meat, he was able to recall his past experiences after returning to normal.
"That's right, everyone is dead."
"What are your plans next?" Connors asked, not intending to add Wolverine to the already existing two Dianas.
"I don't know," Logan, "Wolverine," said somewhat blankly, reaching out to Connors for another bottle of wine.
The steel claws severed the bottle neck, and Logan tilted his head back and gulped down a large mouthful of beer.
Just then, a beast-like roar came from afar, followed by a violent tremor in the ground, as if hundreds of elephants were charging.
Connors looked toward the source of the sound and realized it wasn't an elephant, but the "Hulk" he had just kicked away.
Wonder Woman and Lady Warrior were on high alert, not forgetting the scene of the Hulk casually uprooting a small mountain to use as a weapon.
Connors stood still, the Hulk posing little threat to him; after all, his strength was evident from his mutated appearance.
Wolverine remained standing still. In his zombie form, he had fought the Hulk to a standstill in order to get a bite out of him, but now that he had returned to normal, there was no need for him to continue fighting.
But this time, the Hulk didn't jump in front of the crowd. Instead, he stopped a short distance away and slammed his fists into the ground.
"Hulk Smash!"
A powerful shockwave extended from beneath the ground, quickly reaching Wolverine's feet, sending him flying into the air and shattering the bottle in his hand.
......
Wolverine stared blankly at the broken bottle in his hand while suspended in mid-air, then his steel claws snapped out with a clang.
They started fighting again.
"If this were made into a movie, how much money would it make?" Connors looked regretfully at the "Wolverine vs. Hulk" scene in front of him. The two of them didn't need any dialogue scenes in the movie at all; they could fight for two or three hours without a break.
Unfortunately, the world has been destroyed, and there are no other spectators besides Connors and his two companions. Even the "Dark Strange" is nowhere to be found.
Just as Connors was regretfully preparing to turn away and leave the planet as a battlefield for the two of them, the sound of a cloak fluttering in the air suddenly came from above.
The "Dark Strange" that Connors had just been thinking about had somehow appeared in the air, looking down at the two guys fighting below.
Six Infinity Stones were prominently displayed on the hem of his cloak.
