Chapter 236 Zombie Wasp Woman

Chapter 236 Zombie Wasp Woman

Gwen quickly spun a giant spider web, which she originally intended to use to cover Deadpool's head.

It's just being used to deal with the "Zombie Wasp" for now.

The mask of the zombified "Wasp" is broken, but it seems to have no effect on her changing shape.

Just as she was about to be stuck in the spider web, her size instantly shrank.

"Oh, Thumbelina?"

Spider Gwen cried out in surprise, and with a flick of her wrists, she spun two more webs, which together with the first web formed an impenetrable barrier.

Each spider web is connected to Gwen's fingers by a thread that is almost invisible to the naked eye.

"Spider-Sense" was affected by Gwen's highly stressed state; if any spiderweb showed any unusual movement...

Gwen believed she would be able to detect it immediately.

Unfortunately, her opponent is "The Wasp," and even the zombie version of "The Wasp" has the ability to enter the microscopic world.

When the "Zombie Wasp" reappeared, she had already passed through three spider web barriers and was hovering in front of Gwen.

"I guess I'll have to do it myself." Connors muttered to himself as he watched Gwen struggle to deal with the zombies.

A red light flashed in his eyes, and he was about to unleash the external manifestation of Darkseid's "Omega Effect"—the "Omega Ray."

But when Connors saw the slight upturn of the corners of Spider-Gwen's mouth beneath her mask, he withdrew his power.

"The Wasp? I bet you've never seen that move before."

Gwen said that countless spider silks bloomed between her and "The Wasp".

Unsurprisingly, the "Zombie Wasp" shrank once again, while Spider Gwen leisurely swung through the air, seemingly completely unguarded.

Just as the seemingly defenseless Spider-Gwen was about to be burrowed into her body at a microscopic level by the "Zombie Wasp," she shuddered.

The shrunken Wasp was thrown off Gwen's body by the mere tremor of Spider-Gwen, and even her shrinking ability could not be maintained.

The "zombie wasp woman," whose body had returned to normal size, crashed heavily to the ground.

Without hesitation, the "Zombie Wasp" shrank again, but before she could fly away, a human arm, not much bigger than a frog's arm, reached out and grabbed her firmly with its five fingers.

With a firm squeeze of two fingers, the "Zombie Wasp" was crushed with a squishy sound.

Deadpool, whose brain was drained by the "zombie wasp," regenerated his body using the remaining brain matter. This time, his head was no longer large and his body small, but rather his head and body were in proportion, though only the size of a palm.

"What did that girl just do? It sounded like she farted and..."

Deadpool, playing Connors, raises two fingers to show off the "zombie Wasp" with her fingertips crushed:

"It's like it blasted that pile of female zombies into the air?"

Fortunately, Spider-Gwen was still floating in the air and didn't hear Deadpool's swearing, otherwise she would have definitely kicked him.

Deadpool doesn't understand what Spider-Gwen just did, but Connors knows perfectly well.

Connors, who also possesses the "spider-sense" and activated it earlier to prevent "Deadpool" from climbing onto his bed, was able to sense that Gwen activated her "spider-sense" to its maximum the moment "Wasp" touched him.

Gwen's "spider-sense" seems to be a bioelectric system. Just now, in order to deal with the "zombie wasp," Gwen brought this ability to its limit, allowing herself to be enveloped by a bioelectric field without any blind spots.

And when Gwen finished swinging and landed in front of Connors, what she said proved that Connors had not misjudged her:

"Connors! Did you see that just now? That's the new ability I've been secretly researching!"

"Ever since I discovered that my 'spider-sense' allows me to detect the electric and magnetic fields in Earth's atmosphere, I've been trying to find ways to utilize this ability."

"Theoretically speaking, if my 'spider-sense' were pushed to its limit, I could even use electromagnetic fields to generate electrical discharges!"

Connors listened to Spider-Gwen's theory, completely bewildered:

"This—isn't this Miles Morales' ability?"

Deadpool commented from the sidelines:

"If Darkseid saw your 'Omega effect,' wouldn't he also say, 'Isn't this mine?'"

"Wonder Woman, Martian Manhunter, Firestorm, Superman—each of them would have to ask you that question."

Are all DC's superhero titles this plain? Aren't there any that are a bit more awesome?

Connors thought about it carefully and said:

"Yes. — A tall father."

"Heavenly Father," the leader of "New Genesis," the opposite of Apokolips which was destroyed by Connors, literally translates to "tall father" regardless of translation accuracy or Western allusions.

Deadpool: "...This is interesting."

Upon hearing Deadpool speak, Spider-Gwen glanced at him instinctively before raising her hand and unleashing a series of spider webs.

These spider silks weren't meant to deal with Deadpool, but rather to cover his bare buttocks, which were less than 20 centimeters tall at the time.

"Thanks—" Deadpool nodded to Gwen, looking satisfied. "Where's our Punisher? Wasn't he all high and mighty, heading off to find Ant-Man and his family? How come we ran into him instead?"

As soon as Deadpool finished speaking, the Punisher's voice rang out:

"Shut up."

They were standing on a dilapidated street corner when the voice of "The Punisher" rang out, and he emerged from around the corner.

What's rather strange is that "The Punisher" is now leaning forward with his hands behind him, seemingly dragging something. When "The Punisher" Frank, along with what he's dragging behind him, is fully revealed to the three of them, "Deadpool" lets out a strange cry:

"Oh my god—is the supermarket having a sale? Zombie heads for wholesale prices?"

It's no wonder Deadpool made that strange noise; even Connors was slightly startled when he saw what the Punisher was dragging behind him.

Hawkeye, Nick Fury, Falcon, Winter Soldier, Ant-Man, Black Panther, Human Torch, Storm Shadow —

More than thirty heads of "superheroes" or "supervillains" were strung together with wire, and without exception, they were all zombie versions of the same individuals.

"That's impressive, but what's the point of having so many heads? Just to show off to us?"

Deadpool ran around on each of the zombies' heads, then looked up at The Punisher and asked.

The Punisher looked down for a long time before finally spotting the tiny "Deadpool," who was completely unrecognizable.

The ugly creature dressed in spider silk made "The Punisher" unable to resist asking who it was.

But this didn't stop "The Punisher" from loading the shotgun, then pointing the muzzle vertically downwards, and stuffing half of "Deadpool's" body into the barrel:

"Looking like that, and with a mouth that never stops, are you Deadpool?"
