Chapter 234 [ ]

Chapter 234 [ ]

"Zombie Wolverine" and Deadpool sit back to back on the ground.

To ensure his crewmates remain sane, Deadpool has to occasionally cut a piece of flesh from his butt and pass it to Wolverine behind him.

"Buddy, even you fell victim to the zombie virus, but I'm perfectly fine—"

Deadpool removed his mask and tossed it aside, sighing:

"Has the 'author' run out of inspiration? Wolverine turns into a zombie, Deadpool into a吐槽机 (tu cao, a Chinese internet slang term for someone who makes sarcastic or witty remarks)—is Thanos about to jump into Elysium in the next chapter?"

"Zombie Wolverine" took a bite of beef jerky and a bite of butt meat, and said nonchalantly:

"Who the hell dances what the hell is none of my business."

Deadpool continues cutting his own buttocks:

"I thought you could pull through this virus, and that we could team up and save the world like in Deadpool and Wolverine."

"But now I can only rely on myself."

After saying that, Deadpool cut a large chunk of flesh from his own buttocks and handed it to Wolverine.

"I'm leaving, but I'll leave you a piece of meat to eat slowly."

He activated the built-in teleportation device in his belt, but stopped just as he was about to use it.

"Observer? Agent? Dealing with 'The Watcher' Connors?"

"Zombie Wolverine" cut open his stomach and stuffed a large chunk of meat given to him by "Deadpool" directly into his stomach:

"Since it doesn't require chewing, digestion should be slower."

Deadpool stood to the side, talking to himself as he looked up at the sky:

"Why should I go after him? Oh, isn't he the culprit who turned this world into a zombie universe?"

"But I seem to remember that your 'Reed Council' team tried to kill him, but he killed you instead, and then you led others to create the 'zombie virus'—"

"You think I haven't seen 'Today's Biggest Gossip' in American Comics?"

"Zombie Wolverine" closed his stomach and quietly waited for his body to heal itself.

Deadpool looked down:

"Where's the meat?"

He cut off a piece of his own buttocks, put on the mask, and then reactivated the teleportation device built into his belt:

"Farewell, old pal. By the way, you look uglier now than any of your old flames."

"Zombie Wolverine" watched "Deadpool's" body being torn to pieces, with only his head remaining, flying into the portal, lost in thought.

The Punisher blasted Captain America in the head with a shotgun blast, then looked at the three Iron Mans:

"Tony Stark? You're smarter than I thought. Although your physical body has become a zombie, your mind has been uploaded to the network."

Iron Man aimed his palm-fiber cannon at the Punisher, charged it up, and then slowly lowered it:

"You shouldn't have killed Captain America—this world needs life to continue; indiscriminate killing will only lead to its destruction."

Kama!

With the shotgun loaded, "The Punisher" unhesitatingly fired a dragon's breath round at "Iron Man":

"But your thinking is also limited by AI. You believe that killing all the zombies and preserving a portion of the social elites will allow you to rebuild a new world."

"You should go and see what those who are still alive are doing."

"The Punisher" refers to the gladiatorial contest hosted by "Killer Monkey".

Pepper Potts and War Machine's consciousness was also uploaded to the network; what was here at this moment was just an empty shell of armor they were controlling.

Iron Man had half his body blown off by a dragon's breath attack, and the two of them turned and flew away without stopping for a moment:

"Our first priority is to help more people survive."

I thought I was going to see a Civil War with a ragtag cast, but Connors walked sadly to the headless Captain America.

The Punisher then switched to a pistol, walked up to the line of zombies that Captain America had previously led, and shot them in the head one by one.

"Next, I'm going into Avengers Tower to continue searching for Ant-Man and his family," the Punisher told Connors.

Connors nodded. "Telepathy" couldn't locate the zombies; the Punisher had to turn all possible locations of "Ant-Man" to dust.

Flamethrowers are no longer suitable for use inside Avengers Tower, and "Punisher" needs to replace some of his weapons.

First, the flamethrower is discarded; the Punisher needs two assault rifles, plus as much ammunition as possible.

"Based on the AK-12 with its high rate of fire and low recoil, the barrel was shortened for close combat."

"I added a laser and red dot dual-scope, a silencer, and a fireproof cap to make my operations as covert as possible."

"Undermount pump-action shotgun module for easy close-range headshots of 'Ant-Man'."

Having witnessed Connors's incredible ability to create guns with his bare hands, "The Punisher," to avoid a repeat of scenes where a dagger is transformed into a grenade launcher or an enormous flamethrower, began to specify his particular modification requirements:

"I need flat-topped bullets to increase their penetration. After every five regular bullets, insert an incendiary round to avoid being surrounded by a large number of zombies—there are quite a few staff members and S.H.I.E.L.D. personnel in Avengers Tower."

Previously, Connors couldn't understand a word of these words, but now he is a weapons expert and fulfills all of "Punisher's" requests without exception.

As the Punisher, dressed in a low-end "Hellfire Armor," left Connors and headed towards Avengers Tower, just as Connors was about to take Gwen on a world tour, a portal opened.

The drab, yellowish-brown portal appeared extremely plain. Gwen clasped her hands together, and spider silk rapidly began to flow.

They are ready to form a large net to trap the guys who come out at any time.

"thump!"

The guy on the other side of the portal came up in front of Connors.

The reason it made a "thump" sound was because this thing had no limbs or torso, only a head wearing a red mask.

Gwen wasn't afraid of anyone appearing, but the sudden appearance of a head startled her, and she instinctively kicked it away.

Connors: "..—"

He stood still and pulled Gwen back from her startled state.

After a while, something seemed to grow from the severed area below the head in the distance, supporting the head as it slowly moved towards us:

"Connors, help me improve my teleportation device—it always inexplicably leaves me missing parts every time I use it."

Connors looked at Deadpool's head, which was now regenerating into a body no longer than a palm, and wondered:

Do you know me?

Deadpool wanted to nod, but unfortunately, his large head and light body prevented him from doing so.

"That's right, I heard that the 'Observer' wanted to deal with you, so they specifically teleported to Chapter 235 to find you."

Then he looked at Spider-Gwen beside him, and stretched out an arm about the length of a normal person's finger joint in greeting:

"Hey Gwen, is your spider-sense malfunctioning? Kicking me isn't a proper greeting."

"Or did you forget to peek at the outline?"
