Connors stood still, having spotted the other man long before Spider-Gwen noticed him, his body already transforming from "Batman" back to its original form in the darkness.
"As a robber, shouldn't you pull out your gun now? And then I'll just shoot it like that."
Spider Gwen raised her hand and shot out a strand of spider silk, which struck Connors' right side and grazed past him.
"Oh, you missed, but it's okay, you can draw your gun now." Spider-Gwen's voice was sweet but not cloying, which gave an idea of how exquisite the face under the white mask must be.
"Okay, I'll cooperate."
Connors reached into the inside pocket of his Gotham-style trench coat, pulled out a pistol, and pointed it at Gwen.
"Zzz—"
Instead of bullets, the pistol fired a thin stream of water, leaving the couple and Gwen standing opposite him somewhat bewildered.
Then Connors kicked back all the jewelry, necklaces, and banknotes on the ground, leaving Gwen somewhat bewildered.
"What are you doing—"
She finally saw Connors' face clearly, and then it dawned on her:
