On Apokolips, after Brainiac's large spaceship departed, another small spaceship took off and gave chase.
Inside the ship's cabin, Superman, Hawkgirl, and Martian Manhunter gazed out at the dark universe.
"Darkseid is definitely hiding something, and the 'outsider' doesn't seem to be just here to watch the show."
"We should focus our efforts on Darkseid. I trust the 'Outsider'," Superman said.
Hawkgirl, who had only recently joined the Justice League, didn't understand:
Why do you trust him so much?
"Even after arriving on Apokolips, Cyborg maintained contact with Batman," Superman said. "Batman said we can trust the Outsider."
Following the directions indicated on the spaceship, the three flew over a large asteroid belt and arrived above an oval-shaped planet.
They saw that the planet's surface was desolate, without an atmosphere, with only three huge craters on its bare surface.
The green fingers branched out into more than a dozen tentacles that worked on the spaceship. "Mars Hunter" then said to the other two:
"According to the spaceship's computer, the spaceship of the artificial intelligence Brainiac that we are looking for is inside this planet."
After saying that, he steered the spaceship toward the crater.
Upon closer inspection, the three realized that this was not a crater, but a huge hole with towering sides and a hollowed-out center.
With no path to follow, the "Mars Hunter" had no choice but to maneuver its spaceship gradually deeper into the crater.
The initial flight went smoothly, but as the spaceship got closer to the planet, an irresistible force took control of it and pulled it into the hole.
After a period of darkness, the three "Supermen" and their spaceship landed at the bottom of the crater, where they found themselves in a technologically advanced city.
Apart from them, there was no trace of any other living beings; instead, there were all sorts of huge equipment and pipes everywhere.
The most bizarre thing is that there are exquisite models the size of a palm everywhere, and without exception, they are all models of cities.
Superman and the other two Justice League members remained silent, each observing their surroundings.
After some time, they stood in a large metal hall.
As they arrived, the metal hall resounded with the clanging of machinery. "Artificial Intelligence" Brainiac sat upright in a chair and appeared before them.
Brainiac smiled and looked at "Superman" and said:

"That spaceship was just one of my vehicles, and the robot you attacked earlier was just one of my replicas."
"This is my spaceship, where you are now."
"I gave you a chance before, and now I will give you another one."
As Brainiac, the artificial intelligence "Freil Dax," spoke, the metal hall began to change accordingly.
A red metallic planet rose in the hall, and the walls lit up with various images that did not belong to Earth. "If you abandon your help to Darkseid and turn to me, I will give you all the wealth left behind by Krypton. It is what you deserve."
"Krypton's history is far more than just its brilliance; there are many more unknown secrets, and I can even find your biological parents through your characteristics."
All the photos on the metal wall were replaced with a middle-aged couple wearing tight-fitting clothes with a huge "S" pattern on their chests.
"Superman, don't believe him, Krypton is destroyed—" Martian Manhunter said urgently, not wanting to see Superman brainwashed and turned into a tool against his side.
"Krypton is indeed destroyed, but I can implant the memories of Kryptonians into robots, Kryptonians."
"Think about it, you've grown up on Earth since you were a baby, and you've never even met your parents. Even if you're a robot, at least I can reunite you with your family."
"Think it over carefully, you last inhabitants of Krypton."
Brainiac spoke in a voice full of emotion, one that showed no trace of mechanical synthesis.
"Mars Manhunter" was getting anxious, but "Superman" raised his hand to signal him not to be nervous:
"You are completely distorting the facts and insulting Krypton and me."
Brainiac nodded:
"Is this your answer?"
Before he could even move, two energy weapons rose up in the metal hall and shot towards Superman with a whoosh.
The three people, each moving in their own direction—"Hawkgirl" and "Mars Manhunter" on the left and right respectively—each destroyed the weapons in their own way.
Superman flew toward Brainiac and unleashed a powerful punch.
Despite being a robot, Brainiac's body was exceptionally tough, and Superman couldn't destroy him even with his full strength. Instead, Brainiac seized an opening, transforming one of his hands into a mechanical claw and grabbing Superman.
The electric current extended along the mechanical claw, shocking "Superman" so much that he screamed. Fortunately, "Mars Manhunter" and "Hawkeye" quickly dealt with the energy weapon and arrived to provide support.
Three against one, as Superman stomped Brainiac's head down with his final kick, Superman said:
"It seems that without the protective shield, this is all you're capable of."
"Hawkgirl" smashed Brainiac's head off with a magic hammer, and breathed a sigh of relief:
"Should everything be alright now?"
Even the "Mars Manhunter" nodded, confirming that the robot was completely dead.
Just as they relaxed, Brainiac's voice rang out again, echoing through the metal hall:
"You still don't understand. What was attacked just now was only a clone of me."
The walls of the metal hall rose one after another, revealing doors behind them.
There are hundreds of doors, and each door is filled with replicas of Brainiac.
Superman remained calm and covered his ear with his hand:
"The 'Outsider' plan is progressing smoothly."
"HAL, do you know why Cyborg didn't come?"
Why?
"He has to stay on Earth and maintain this for us."
"The Flash" Barry pointed to his ear.
Hal Jordan, the "Green Lantern," nodded. He also had what Barry was talking about—a miniature, stable "blast channel."
Apokolips is thousands of miles away from Earth, and they need communication equipment to stay in touch, but it wouldn't be appropriate for "Superman" to carry a satellite to Apokolips.
Their solution was that "Steelbow" would open the popping channel, and Connors would use "Amplification" and "Precision Control" to shrink the popping channel and attach it inside the ear.
"Let's not talk about that now. Let's quickly tie up Darkseid's son, that Osh thing, and hand him over to 'Outsider' guy."
"If he can gain Darkseid's trust, that would be much better than simply exposing his plans."
On New Genesis, the four characters "The Flash," "Green Lantern," "Batman," and "Wonder Woman" sat together.
Cyborg, who is on Earth, occasionally throws things like fried chicken and cola through the blast tunnel, which makes The Flash's mouth greasy.
The person they were talking to, the "outsider" Connors, was currently staring at each other on Apokolips and Darkseid.
"Why haven't you gone to New Genesis and brought my son back?" Darkseid asked coldly.
"What remains here now is only an avatar of mine; my true self is already on its way."
Connors said with an expression that said, "I'm just a clone."
