Chapter 159 The Unjust Alliance

"Outsider, give me a hand—throw me westward with all your might."

Standing outside the "Tech Star" lab, "Cyborg" spoke to Connors.

"Maximum strength? Forget it." Connors shook his head. "I'd probably throw you onto Mars."

Despite saying that, Connors still decided to help Cyborg, using only a small amount of his strength.

Using the abilities of "Magnification" and "Human Limits" simultaneously causes a surge in physical strength enhanced by "Photosynthesis".

He picked up "Steel Bone" and then threw it forcefully.

The attack shattered the sound barrier instantly; Cyborg's body was in Connors's hands one second, and the next second it was already beyond his sight.

"He really dares to say he's using all his strength," Connors said with a light laugh.

If it weren't for the fact that he can't stay in space for long periods of time—times measured in years—Connors would have already hopped onto Apokolips to play with Darkseid.

"We're taking you to Gotham now. You're free to do as you please for a while. A group of 'Rogues' will be coming over later."

Connors instructed "Poison Ivy" Ivy, and naturally reached out to put his arm around Ivy's waist.

Ignoring Earth 0's "Poison Ivy's" slightly stiff waist, Connors carried her into the sky at an extremely fast speed.

His original intention was to drop Ivy off in Gotham and head towards Metropolis, but things didn't always go as smoothly as he imagined.

Rhonda, the "Atomic Girl," hid in Connors' clothes. After realizing that Connors had left the "Techstar" laboratory, she immediately became restless.

This time, Atomic Girl's target wasn't Connors, but Poison Ivy, who was being held in her arms.

She shrunk her body to the size of an ant, and with Connors by her side, she brazenly approached Poison Ivy and climbed along the curves of her body.

Connors was not fooled by the changes in the "Poison Ivy" in his arms, but he did nothing.

He lacked a "biofield" and worried that Ivy wouldn't be able to strike any pose with him like Wonder Woman did at high altitudes.

But Earth 0's "Poison Ivy" seems to have been provoked by "Atom Girl". Even though "Atom Girl" has stopped, Ivy gradually gets closer to Connors and starts rubbing against him.

At first, Connors ignored him, after all, this Ivy was not the "Poison Ivy" from Earth 3 that he knew.

But after seeing that Connors didn't react, Poison Ivy from Earth 0 became even more audacious, with one of her long, fleshy legs already reaching up to his waist.

Now that things have come to this, Connors no longer needs to play the role of a virtuous man.

But even while he was having fun, his primary concern remained avoiding injury to "Poison Ivy." The shape of his black smoke cloak changed, and the swirling smoke transformed it into the form of a warhorse.

The long-absent "Fallen Warhorse" form reappeared, with its four hooves treading on the air and billowing black smoke from its body, contrasting sharply with the white clouds around it.

With his warhorse, Connors placed Poison Ivy in front of him.

He quickly realized that this was one of the wonderful uses of "Green of All Things" to manipulate plants—and while "Poison Ivy" wasn't a pure plant like "Swamp Thing," it was pretty much the same.

In Gotham Forest, Connors shows Poison Ivy dismounting from her warhorse.

Connors looked perfectly normal, but Poison Ivy was drenched in sweat, her large, bright red waves of hair clinging messily to her skin.

"I'm going to the Metropolis," Connors said, leaving Ivy behind and taking "Atomic Girl" with him.

Black Smoke transformed back into his warhorse form and donned a black cloak, carrying his body to the metropolis of "Lex Luthor Corporation".

Without using violence to destroy the ground, Connors used the magic he had learned from Lady Shangdu to turn his body into nothingness and sink into the ground.

The Lex Luther Group building has more than a dozen underground floors. Connors penetrated the floor slabs and met Luther on the thirteenth floor.

The bald man was standing in front of a laboratory apparatus slightly larger than an adult, and pressed a button on it.

Accompanying Luther was another person, who, judging from their clothing, was clearly a security guard from the Luther Group.

"You can leave now, this is none of your business," Connors said as he walked over to Luther and tossed the security guard, who was carrying his clothes, out of the room.

Luther was talking to the humanoid creature in the experimental apparatus's blood, oblivious to Connors' arrival beside him:

"An artificial being? Can you understand me? I am Lex Luthor."

"I am your creator and designer. You must listen carefully to every word I say and execute every command I give."

The creature, whose skin was pitted and whose body was large but who looked like a lost soul, ignored him.

"Try carrying out my first order, artifact." Lex Luthor intended to point at the security guard, but since Connors had already thrown him away, he simply pointed at Connors instead. "Kill him."

"Roar." The hideous, zombie-like monster roared, then remained motionless.

"Hey, I said kill him!" Luther gave the order again.

"Based on the fact that cubs assume the first creature they see after birth is their mother—he sees you as his father," Connors rambled on. "Maybe if I attack you, it will trigger his protective mechanism?"

Luther glanced at Connors, thinking the guy had a point, and chimed in:

"Then try hitting me—go easy on me!"

As soon as Luther finished speaking, Connors punched the bald man, sending him flying.

"Roar!" The artificial monster roared and pounced on Connors, snapping his neck in one swift motion.

Connors' body, with his neck snapped, quickly turned into a plant. "Kusama-jin," who had served as the "eye" for so long, finally returned to his true nature.

Luther got up from the ground and saw the artificial monster staring blankly at the "Kusama Man" in its hand and the unharmed Connors not far away. He issued the order again:

"Okay, that's all. Follow me."

Luther took out a blue and red battle suit and handed it to the artificial being:

"Put this on, we still have things to do."

Then Luther looked at Connors:

"Will you be working with me from now on?"

"Yes."

Connors nodded, and seeing the man-made creature obediently preparing to put on its battle suit, he walked over and casually flipped the suit inside out.

"He doesn't seem to have a name?" Connors prompted Luther.

Luther stood in front of a suit of green armor, without turning his head:

"Give him a name."

"Ossu Bizarro," the zombie-like artificial being said haltingly.

Lex Luthor examined the armor he had crafted himself:

"I acquired thirty-eight companies to build this, and I only need two more to complete it. One of them is a company owned by the man you were impersonating. TM produces non-lethal 'flash guns' that have the potential to be the world's most powerful mobile solar-powered engines."

"But for now, I can only deploy when it's unavailable."

"Artificial being, you're wearing your clothes inside out."

Luther donned his green armor and spoke to Bizarro, but then quickly ignored him:

"Forget it, there's no time to waste. Metropolis is facing destruction."

"The Justice League is dead, Superman is gone."

"This time it's Lex Luthor's turn."

Connors proposed:

"I suggest we name the team 'Injustice League.' It only has you and Bizarro now, but new members will join soon."
