The black stone circuitry buried in the bulkhead of the Fortitude was activated. The Slaanesh army, which had just crashed into the Fortitude and had not yet had a chance to sing, was immediately shrouded in a dark force field. The weak demons, which were closely connected to the warp, screamed and collapsed to the ground the next moment.
At the same time, the Netherworld ships anchored near the Resilience accelerated instantly, rushing towards the warp wound torn open beside the Resilience—
A brilliant burst of fire erupted from the suicide bomber, number 745, which was specifically designed for self-destruction.
The warp rift forcibly torn open by chaos instantly shrank by more than half, and countless Slaanesh warships that were still in the warp state were immediately broken by the shock of the warp and the real world, emitting mournful cries.
However, countless large and small subspace rifts still burst open, and the pointer of the psionic energy tester struck the inner wall next to the highest value, indicating a completely off-the-charts psionic energy concentration!
Morag immediately sent an attack signal to the Barbarus star system, and at the same time, he immediately approved the deployment of the Soul Knights on board.
The three combined columns of the Soulless immediately rushed to the site of the attack—Morag recognized it as the Primarch's place where he held serious criminals.
Are they planning a prison break?
The Primarch and Hades have now gone to Mient to slay the dragon, while Karas is on Barbaros.
We must hold this place!
After a brief silence, heavy footsteps echoed aboard the Endurance. Under the commander's orders, the master blacksmith and the cultist priests adjusted the Blackstone system.
Buzz—! Buzz—! Buzz—!
Those who had been ruined by the blessing of chaos vomited painfully.
The elite 5th Company Death Guards of the 7th Company, trained with the Soulless for a long time, arrived at the battlefield first to support the mortal Hounds of the Underworld. Blazing flames erupted on the deck, and the Slaanesh warriors, their faces clearly contorted, howled.
The soulless were suppressed, and the Death Guards reaped the rewards, severing their heads before these madmen could even react!
Specialized black stone bullets arced through the air, while the roar of the Wraith Knights rapidly approached from afar. The Hound Forging Team and technical sergeants followed the advancing Death Guards, working to repair the wrecked hull.
He's playing Death Guard?!
He's attacking Death Guard!
They didn't even show a moment of panic when they were suddenly attacked!
Fabius, who was still observing, sighed—but in the midst of the revelry, it turned into a shriek. There was nothing more to say. Liquid gushed from between the chemical tubes, and two tubes of liquid appeared in Bayer's hands.
At least the cannon fodder striker made him see the gap clearly.
"nice one--"
The drooling guy behind him muttered something. Edoron took it and skillfully injected it into his own vein. He shouted with satisfaction, thanking Slaanesh for the blessing that Bayer's eardrums hadn't ruptured yet.
“Destroy their Blackstone Passage,”
Fabius said, "After that I will quickly summon my master—I need at least a six-second gap."
"no problem."
Edoron laughed arrogantly, and the next moment, his figure distorted as he chanted. Fabius watched all this cautiously, while simultaneously directing their warships to attack the enemy as much as possible.
Breath spurted from the muzzle of their guns. The Death Guards had no battle cry; their only fury came from their scythes and spears. The Ghost Riders arrived on the battlefield through the gaping wound left by the Slaanesh warship.
The astonishingly bright, molten flow burst forth with light.
charge! charge! charge!
The Death Guards at the front lines tacitly covered the Soulless Ones, making way for them—amidst the loud praises of the fanatical followers of the Underworld Cult, the knights strode onto the battlefield.
Blood splattered on the black armor, tearing through the frenzied Slaanesh army as they boarded the ship. The chainsword roared furiously, accompanied by a nearly indiscriminate flow of molten heat.
Inside the Slaanesh warband boarding the ship, a Slaanesh cultist wizard draped in human skin raised his staff; the temperature dropped, and space began to distort—
The message was clearly transmitted to the post-war command center, where seven master blacksmiths, along with the cult priests, raised the intensity of the blackstone once again amidst chanting!
"puff!"
Slaanesh's followers coughed up blood and staggered to the ground—at the same time, some of the retreating hounds collapsed to the ground, only to be immediately helped back by their comrades.
A spectacular boarding torpedo explodes!
A burst of dazzling light erupted from the somber Endurance, accompanied by a shrill sonic boom that was deafening. The joints of the leading Ghost Knight cracked, and the knight swayed.
Amidst a massive display of sound, light, and electricity—
"My great and joyful mistress! If you truly wish us well—then grant us a grand celebration!!!"
"Aidoron shouted, and behind him, the Noise Warriors suddenly sang their war song, boarded the ship in heavy armor, and spewed out psychedelic gas. Six hundred and sixty-six couples who had been making love died in ecstasy."
In a daze, everyone present saw that illusory giant hand reaching out from among the corpses!
The next moment, the phantom vanished, and the tide of battle turned!
Countless corpses of Death Guardians and Soulless lay fallen, their muscles still twitching, and amidst these overstimulated corpses, Slaanesh's favorite slowly rose—
Lucius the Immortal!
His wet braids hung down, and Lucius gave a twisted smile, the distorted grin on his armor mirroring his own.
Standing atop the pile of corpses, the ugly bald man stuck out his tongue and arrogantly surveyed the battlefield. He saw the temporarily retreating Death Guards and Soulless Ones hiding behind makeshift obstacles.
"They're just small fry."
Lucius scoffed, leaping without hesitation from the pile of corpses and delivering a precise headshot to the Soulless One, who was heavily protected by the Death Guards. The Noise Warriors behind him began to sing.
Edoron steadily commanded his warbands to charge in, while the Slaanesh knight families also took advantage of the opening of the warp to leap into the battle. Chainswords clashed, and the Devanam family's revelations wielded their scourge whips.
The subspace began to devour the human world, and the palace's light refracted.
………………
“This is abnormal,” the Death Guard’s current think tank chief and the High Priest of the Underworld reported to Morag. “The intensity of the Chaos Response followers is too high—this is almost unprecedented.”
It was as if Slaanesh himself had arrived on the battlefield; the feedback was simply outrageous, completely illogical, and beyond reality.
"Can we continue playing? What are the losses?"
Morag asked, "We can't contact Death and Hades yet." The High Priest of the Cult of the Underworld immediately replied,
"With the current reserves of the Underworld Cult on the Endurance, the Martyr's attack, combined with the entire Blackstone system, can carry out at least three major eliminations."
The Great Extermination – a weapon of the Underworld Cult, indiscriminately annihilating all beings with souls, regardless of friend or foe.
“No,” Morag said immediately. The Endurance cannot be used for mass destruction; there is something else on board that can powerfully counteract the attacks of the Underworld Cult.
After returning from the garden, the Endurance could no longer engage in overly thorough soulless activities unless it wished to fall apart completely.
The Primarch's order was for him to disguise the Endurance as a normal Queen Glory and not to let the Endurance reveal its true nature easily—in reality, the Endurance was no longer what it used to be.
In the event of a typical Chaos invasion—even one with Primarchs—the Death Guard's first line of defense would be more than enough to wipe them out.
“Retreat, retreat,” Morag said, “—let them take their place, the young ones shouldn’t go, and the Soulless troops should all be withdrawn.”
The think tank director nodded and instructed the grave keepers to take action—as the lanterns swayed, in the deepest part of the Endurance, where white mist filled the air, the ancestors who had been "resting" for the time being were revived.
"what's up?"
Vox said calmly as he picked up the sickle.
He received a request from Morag, and Vox immediately realized that this was no ordinary chaotic boarding action—it was even as intense as the one they had fought back then.
Vokes shook his head.
“Got it, get to work,” he said. “Morag,” the familiar name of his old friend sounded bitter in the veteran’s mouth. “You choose a reliable company, and we’ll mentor them.”
........................
"That's all! That's all!"
Lucius laughed, enjoying the beautiful sounds these silent creatures made before they died. The Death Guard began to retreat, with the Death Guard and the Hounds bringing up the rear, allowing the precious Soulless troops to retreat first.
Although some soulless beings had already collapsed, bleeding from all seven orifices due to the excessive density of psionic energy.
Slaanesh's army began to wreak havoc, blasting through the black stone lines buried deep within the bulkheads. After Lucius appeared, Slaanesh's followers immediately began their summoning, cheering and calling for the Lord's arrival amidst their musk-induced desires.
The cautious Fabius also disembarked and landed, smashing a cocktail of potions on the ground. His clone guards stood beside him, protecting him.
In the distance, Bayer saw the last Soulless figure disappear—immediately afterward, the Death Guard began throwing some kind of smoke grenade weapon.
His heart tightened. He was more or less familiar with the Death Guard's Soulless Fighting Style—but what was this?
Is Death Guard going to use phosphorus and poison weapons?
But the Slaanesh army's poison resistance was high enough—they should know it was a drop in the ocean.
"That's all there is to it—!!!!"
Lucius's shrill laughter rang out again, almost like a massacre, his long tongue lolling out. He stood arrogantly atop the pile of corpses, laughing loudly against the backdrop of the frenzied clamor of the noise warriors—
boom!
Lucius stared in disbelief at a hole in his forehead, a small hole that pierced precisely through the center of his forehead and then created a wrist-sized opening at the back of his skull.
? !
Lucius slowly collapsed.
The noise warrior's guitar hand trembled, and a trembling long note resounded.
"Yo,"
In the white mist, Vox, having removed his helmet, calmly gazed at the Slaanesh army—but Fabius knew he was looking at him!
Vox lowered the modified gun in his hand, which was still emitting heat.
“Lucius,” the old Death Guard said calmly, “long time no see—tell me, what kind of thing is it to bully a junior?”
Behind him, the fog suddenly thickened, and countless eyepieces flashing white light lit up.
"Come on, fight with me."
Vox glanced at the trash crawling out of the pile of corpses; Lucius had come back to life once more.
“And you,” he glanced at Aidoron again, “you come too, I’ll take on two.”
Vox believed he was being modest; if it were Karas, he would have simply launched into a sarcastic tirade against the entire Slaanesh army present, attacking them as he went.
It is no longer a struggle between the subspace and the physical world for ownership, but a power struggle between two different authorities within the subspace.
Yay! That's it!
Chapter 649 The Real Output MVP
Vox calmly swung his scythe.
After experiencing enough battles, fighting had become a kind of instinct, like a heartbeat, like breathing. He no longer felt joy at each swing of his sickle, nor fear at the sight of enemy swords grazing his face.
He was just fighting—and then chopping off the enemy's head.
Vox's gaze was calm, as calm as if he were reviewing official documents, while his opponent was clearly angered by his expression.
Enraged, Lucius yelled and swung the fleshy rope on his right arm at Vox.
To be fair, the Slaanesh's army would be faster, while the Death Guard would be slower.
Vox ignored it completely. His long scythe flashed coldly, deflecting Edoron's thunderhammer, while Lucius's whip lashed towards Vox's breastplate.
A whip strong enough to tear apart a space wolf werewolf! Yet it only left a white mark on the Vox armor.
Vox didn't even look, and with a casual blunt strike, he blasted a banshee to the head with his withdrawn scythe.
He didn't even show a hint of disdain on his face, which further enraged Lucius. Lucius bared his black gums and his sword danced in a beautiful blur.
But to his annoyance, the seemingly slow-moving Vox coincidentally blocked his attacks with his scythe every time!
Vox glanced out of the corner of his eye at the Death Guard veterans who had already begun their fierce battle with the Slaanesh army; they were all survivors of Nurgle Gardens.
Apart from the one who had been given first aid by Hades, the remaining Death Guard veterans were all covered in inhuman shapes to varying degrees, their armor was bony, and insect-like eyes were visible inside their broken helmets.
But they are strong enough.
Slaanesh's minions were like weeds under the Death Guard's scythe, their heads severed before they could even scream, as the Death Guard advanced silently and in perfect unison.
Ordinary soldiers would feel fear, nausea, or other negative emotions in the face of a chaotic army—but these Death Guards wouldn't; they'd been in the garden long enough.
They do not favor rapid advances, but the front lines are being pushed back slowly at a steady pace.
The scythe, adorned with white bones, flashed with the green light of the alien race. Mist and bullets flew together, and the screams of the Noise Warriors seemed to be cut off in the silent fog.
The expressionless Death Guards wielded their scythes, and to onlookers, they smashed the heads of those purple creatures in a brutal and sluggish manner.
Suddenly, a sonic boom erupted! The war drums beat rapidly, and the Slaanesh army moved with incredible speed, attempting to break through the battle lines quickly. The hooves of the Slaanesh horses carved furrows on the deck—
The squad leader inside the Death Guard blew his whistle, and the molten heat instantly illuminated the fog!
