"I hope you can strengthen the management of mourners. I think Fernando wouldn't want to see these scenes either."
Ugo nodded, this time giving a serious reply.
"Yes."
Hades sighed softly.
"That's all. Do your best. Although the legion commander doesn't have high hopes for you, I know how important psionic teams are to a legion. You still need to be trained."
Hades, Hades, you've started manipulating others too.
"By the way, go to the Foundry and find Sage Kirkland later. He made some weapons for you. You can go and see if there's anything you can use."
Ugo nodded in surprise, and Hades turned to look at Gara.
"Are you okay?"
Galo shook his head.
"Then you can go first. Don't delay your Undertaker training. Remember to collect your equipment."
The sound of Ugo closing the door rang out, and Hades turned his head wearily, only to see Gara with a mysterious expression on her face.
"I was the one who sent Carras to Fernando back then, and I did neglect your instructions to me after the war due to personal reasons."
Hades opened his mouth, forgetting that Gara was also listening.
“No, I’m not.”
But Hades was interrupted by Galo, who stood up, before he could finish speaking.
“You gave me very serious instructions back then, but I did neglect them.”
“Gallu is willing to accept the punishment.”
Hades was already screaming internally, "Don't do this!"
"Sit down, sit down, that's not what I meant."
“I know you were busy at the time, I understand. I was just trying to scare Ugo, I didn’t really mean to punish him.”
Galo glanced at Hades but did not sit down.
"You still have to show me the information on the Untouchables, otherwise I won't be able to get anything done."
"This matter is over, you don't need to do this anymore. There are still many things to do right now, there's no need for this."
Galo gave Hades a deep look, and was about to sit down—
A message from Primarch Mortalian interrupted their conversation in the channel.
Hades, Vox, Garo, prepare for war. Terra has sent orders; the Death Guard main fleet will depart in three days.

Chapter 195 Your Brother, Horus
The order from Terra forced the Deathguard fleet to reluctantly leave the under-construction city of Barbaros.
Hades gazed out the window at the brown planet where the Grei's machines were working hard, turning mud into wheat fields and swamps into grasslands.
Barbalus will be an idyllic garden planet where some Barbalus people will cultivate the land and maintain their centuries-old history. However, cultivation will no longer be cultivation; they will become part of the scenery in the eyes of others.
The sages of Grei assured Hades that when the fleet returned to Barbarus, they would see a beautiful garden planet, not the muddy world it was now.
Hades hoped so, but this transfer order from Terra also delayed Galaspa's conscription once again.
Galaspa is currently making good progress in the reconstruction of the Cult of Mechanics. Mortalian, Garo, and Vox have already finished processing Galaspa's administrative documents, so the Death Guardians no longer need to worry about this system.
Hades envisions that the Death Guard needs to recruit a new batch of soldiers in Galaspa and expand its mortal auxiliary forces in order to establish a new batch of weapon and armored units for Hades.
Hades silently thought, hoping that Grei's forging world would quickly produce the corresponding weapons, armor, and ammunition.
However, compared to Hades, who was still preoccupied with the construction of the rear, the atmosphere in Deathguard was quite good. Another war was about to begin, and the scythes that had been honed in training finally had a chance to see blood.
Furthermore, after learning that the cooperating legion was the Sixteenth Legion, Shadowmoon Wolves, some Terra warriors began to tell the warriors of Barbarus about their previous cooperation with Shadowmoon Wolves.
Before the Primarchs of the Legions returned and became the true leaders of the Legions, most of the Legions had fought under Horus.
This Primarch, who was the first to be recovered, left other Legions with enough illusions about their Primarch through his existence.
But behind the fantasy of his unrecovered Primarch lies a deep respect for the commander of the Sixteenth Legion—
Shepherd of the Wolf is certainly a Primarch worthy of respect.
Now they are going to cooperate with the Sixteenth Legion, Shadowmoon Wolves.
Mortarion stood at the ship's door with an unfriendly expression as the shuttle smoothly led them to the Shadowmoon Wolf's mothership—the Vengeance Blade.
The alternating shadows and light reflected off the Primarch's armor as the shuttle moved, making the poisonous mist surrounding Mortarion even more indistinct.
"Another brother, I have no expectations for him."
Hades glanced at Mortarian silently. It was clear that Mortarian was heartbroken after the events involving his brothers.
However, given that Horus is considered the best member of the Mortalian Primarch's network in the original work, Hades felt that Mortalian might contradict himself.
Horus, the god of wolves, the future warmaster, the emperor's eldest son, Horus is the most outstanding being among the Primarchs. Another being comparable to him is the angel Saint Gilles. However, Horus is not actually the best in any field. He is just excellent in every field, a balanced kind of excellence.
Just like Horus himself, compared to most Primarchs who tend to get stuck on certain issues in their dealings with others or appear stubborn, this wolf god is clearly quite tactful, except when it comes to the Emperor.
If it weren't for the subsequent fall, Horus would probably be one of the top three "Primarchs you most want to encounter," though of course, the first would always be Sangilius.
From the Death Guard's perspective, although the reasons for Mortarion's betrayal in the original work are unclear, it is very likely that Mortarion's excessive trust in the Wolf God and his original aversion to the Emperor led him to choose betrayal.
But if it weren't for Horus, Mortarion might not have betrayed the Emperor no matter how much he hated him.
In the original story, Mortarion was clearly jealous of the overly close relationship between the angel Saint Gilles and Horus. He wished that he, not Saint Gilles, was the one who was close to Horus.
The Primarchic relationship was strange, but considering that it was a certain Englishman who described this matter, Hades expressed his understanding.
As for Horus's subsequent fall, given the current timeline and Hades's position, he shouldn't interfere too much; it's best to leave such matters to the Emperor.
Hades was actually very curious about the Emperor's views on the rebellion.
Hades, on the other hand, only needs to develop his anti-psychic forces, and then he can simply take down whoever opposes him.
By the way, let's not let Mortarion actually be abducted by Horus. However, unlike the original Horus who was Mortarion's guide to the Empire, Mortarion's guide has changed to Makador, so Mortarion's attitude towards Horus should not be the same as in the original work.
Too friendly.
"I hope not," Hades thought.
Warning lights flashed, and a blinding red light pierced the darkness inside the shuttle. The ship's door slowly opened, and white light streamed in, illuminating Mortalian and the Death Shrouds.
With just one glance, Mortarion saw the Primarch standing in the center of the gray platform, like a small sun, warm and bright in the cold and dark universe.
His platinum armor gleamed brilliantly, like the rising sun at dawn. A single golden-red gem was set in his breastplate, and his white robes fluttered behind him. A warm and gentle smile graced his sleek and handsome head.
"Hey, my brother, long time no see."
Horus smiled and spoke to Mortarion, waving as he approached Mortarion in a friendly yet somewhat eager manner.
Mortarian decided to take back what he had just said.
As Horus approached in a friendly manner, shining like a star, Hades slowly realized that something was terribly wrong. No one could resist the charm of a normal, friendly Primarch, especially when he knew how to use it cleverly.
nobody.
Including Hades himself.
The images of Shadowmoon Wolf and Horus are inspired by "The Rise of Horus" and some short stories.
Chapter 196 No one can refuse Horus
A transfer order from Terra informed Horus that he would be leading his legions into battle alongside the Deathguards of the Fourteenth Legion.
Horus wasn't particularly concerned about the world that was about to be conquered. This human-colonized planet had recently submitted a surrender application to the Empire, but since the Empire's ships sent to the planet had all lost contact, they chose to send the Legion instead.
According to the last information transmitted by the Imperial spaceship, the planet appears to be disturbed by some kind of psionic alien, and the Imperial justification for sending troops is that the Death Guard has something that can "counter" this situation.
The direct summons from Macado made the wording ambiguous, and Horus couldn't determine from these few lines what kind of situation the Death Guard was "targeting".
But just as Horus had thought, he didn't care about any of that. The warriors of the two legions were more than enough to easily crush everything. Horus was clearly more concerned about this new brother who had joined the Empire than about the planet.
Normally, returning Primarchs are led by Horus to integrate into the Empire. Regarding Mortarion, Horus learned that he was originally supposed to lead him, but for some reason, Regent Macardo interfered in the brotherhood and took away the power that was rightfully his.
This is not a good start; cunning mortal psychics should not get involved in their affairs.
Horus should have been the one to welcome his brothers into the Empire. As the first Primarch to be found, he wanted to be the one to welcome his brothers.
From the fragments of information his other brothers had gleaned, Horus had pieced together a shattered image of this newcomer.
Hailing from a desolate, death-ridden planet, she is taciturn, indifferent to her appearance, values her offspring, and possesses a peculiar passion for death.
Horus, a god of war with extensive diplomatic experience, certainly knew how to welcome such a brother. So he stood there, in a position where his brother could be seen as soon as the shuttle door opened, with light shining perfectly on him, gilding Horus's armor with a golden edge.
"Welcome, brother!"
Horus stepped forward to welcome Mortarian, while sizing up his brother.
Mortarian looked thin and haggard, his bone-white and moss-green armor dull and lifeless, the only outline of his bronze-gold armor blurred by the poison gas. His only adornment was the incense burners that were spewing out poison gas, which, along with his respirator, obscured his brother's face.
He should be at the funeral, Horus thought inappropriately.
Perhaps the poisonous gas floating around Mortarion made his other brothers have a bad impression of him, but Horus ignored those unpleasant little incidents. He walked over, naturally gave Mortarion a welcoming hug, and then shook Mortarion's hand in a friendly manner.
Horus cheerfully ignored Mortarian's stiffness when Horus embraced him; perhaps the close proximity was too much for the unsociable brother, leaving Mortarian as stiff as a dead tree.
"I've been looking forward to meeting you for a long time, brother."
Horus said warmly, while simultaneously pulling Mortalian's right hand, which he instinctively tried to pull away.
"Let me introduce myself, Horus Lupekar, the Wolf Shepherd of the Sixteenth Legion's Shadowmoon Wolves."
His tall brother paused, then spoke in an almost whispered voice,
"Motalian, Lord of Barbarossa, the Pale King of the Death Guard of the Fourteenth Legion."
Horus patted Mortalian's shoulder armor in a friendly manner.
"I have heard about the two battles you led the Death Guard in. From my own perspective, I would be happy to have the Silvermoon Wolves cooperate with the Death Guard. The upcoming battle will be a pleasant collaboration."
Mortarian nodded slowly, and just as he hesitated whether to speak, Horus continued.
"While we wait for the advance team to return, we can get to know each other better. I'm glad that Makado didn't bother us this time."
Even through the poisonous fog, Horus could sense Mortarion's doubts, but to be honest, the poisonous fog emanating from this brother was something even Horus, as a Primarch, found difficult to withstand.
".What's the meaning?"
"Originally, the Empire sent me to welcome you, but Makado interfered in the process. None of our brothers were led by Makado, which makes me a little curious."
Horus then smiled slyly, as if asking his brother about a little secret.
"How does it feel to be led by Makado, brother?"
Mortalian slowly spoke, recalling the days he had spent under the control of psionicists.
"That's terrible."
Upon hearing Mortarian's words, Horus burst into laughter and patted Mortarian hard again.
"I'm glad we have something in common on this."
Horus spoke as he pulled Mortharian off the shuttle, and Mortharian's death shrouds followed closely behind their Primarch.
Horus glanced casually and saw the Space Marine whose shroud was noticeably larger than the others.
"Is this your guard? What are their names, brother?"
"Death shroud".
“A very good name. It seems we share the same interest in the topic of death.”
"Then I think this must be Hades, right?"
Mortarian blinked in surprise, snapping out of his daze of being led around by Horus. He looked at Horus.
"Haha, my brother, your offspring is quite famous. Whether among the technical sergeants on Mars or among the brothers you've come into contact with."
Horus, of course, did not only gather information about Mortarion when it came to the legion he was to cooperate with. In various sources, the Death Guard named Hades appeared with exceptionally high frequency.
Hades, who was mentioned by Horus, was already stunned. Horus's smooth combination of words and body language had left Hades speechless. Coupled with Horus's perfect amiable smile, the whole operation left not only Mortarion but also Hades, who was watching from the sidelines, completely bewildered.
