Chapter 109 Revenge
Chapter 109 Revenge
"Revenge!" Fu Xi's gaze immediately locked onto the blood witch who was trying to escape.
Not only him, but also Lu Lin, inside the iron cage above, pointed at the Blood Witch and roared, his limbs stiff:
"Fuxi, don't save me. Use that opportunity to kill him. You must kill him!" A resolute glint flashed in Lu Lin's eyes.
Fu Xi pondered for a moment, then immediately looked away and gazed at the Blood Witch who had just gotten up not far away.
"Envoy, I'm going to use this opportunity to make a request to eliminate him!"
As soon as she finished speaking, the woman in white, who had just been about to leave, stopped in her tracks. The Blood Witch also stood rooted to the spot as if struck by lightning, her legs feeling as if they were made of lead, unable to lift them no matter what she did.
"No way...did we mess this up?" The air was deathly silent. The Blood Witch's Adam's apple bobbed, and he was sweating profusely, clearly terrified.
However, an unexpected event occurred the next moment, and the voice of the woman in white rang out once again.
"Your small request is not enough to make me kill someone. Of course, if you can make him break the rules and become a prisoner, I can grant your request!" the messenger said.
Upon seeing this, the Blood Witch, who had been extremely tense, immediately breathed a sigh of relief, lifted her foot, and was surprised to find that she could move her foot again.
He turned to Fu Xi with disdain, "Want to kill me? Maybe in your next life. But it doesn't matter, we'll meet again someday..."
Before the Blood Witch could speak again, Fu Xi's voice reached her ears.
"The future? Isn't that too long?" Fu Xi sneered.
A sense of foreboding immediately gripped the blood witch's mind. "You... what do you want to do? I haven't broken any rules..."
"You haven't broken any rules, so here you are, breaking the rules!"
Before the other party could speak again, Fu Xi vanished from her spot to everyone's astonishment, reappearing beside the Blood Witch.
"what!"
A scream immediately echoed around as the Blood Witch was sent flying by a single punch, breaking three of her ribs and even losing her mask.
"Wu She, it really is you!" Fu Xi said coldly.
Wu She staggered to his feet, but after being exposed, he showed no fear whatsoever, instead remaining calm: "You've been found out!"
"But it's okay. Hitting me violated the mutual fighting rules. A few broken ribs in exchange for going to jail is totally worth it!"
"When you're gone, I'll show you how horribly your teammates will die!" Wu She sneered, completely unaware that her mask had fallen off.
"Oh? Is that so?" Fu Xi looked at the woman in white.
"Could the envoy please explain what constitutes a real brawl?"
The woman in white snapped out of her thoughts and said coldly, "It means both sides were injured; a one-sided overpowered attack doesn't count as mutual fighting!"
The air was deathly silent. Wu She, who had just been looking smug, suddenly turned pale.
"You..." He was so angry he wanted to curse, but he quickly calmed down and pointed at Fuxi with disdain.
"Fine, you've got guts. Although I can't do anything to you today, you can't do anything to me either!" Wu She hurriedly went towards the man in black.
However, before the other party could be happy for long, Fu Xi's cold snort rang in her ears again, "Is that so? Are you sure I can't do anything to you?"
"Hmm?" Wu She frowned, immediately noticing something was wrong.
His mask is gone!
"When did my mask disappear?" A hint of panic flashed in Wu She's eyes as she immediately rushed towards the mask that had fallen to the ground.
But it was too late. An iron cage appeared out of nowhere and immediately locked the other person inside.
"How do you think I discovered you? Of course, it was by your face! You didn't notice for so long, you're really stupid!" Fu Xi mocked.
"Damn it, you tricked me!" Wu She roared, gripping the iron cage.
"How can this be called scheming? I'm just making reasonable use of the rules!" Fu Xi said disdainfully.
"You think you can kill me? Let me tell you, I have others..."
A glimmer of hope ignited in Wu She's eyes, and he quickly turned around to look, only to find that the man in black who had been walking alongside him was nowhere to be seen.
With her last glimmer of hope extinguished, Wu She's pupils dilated in shock, and she went berserk, shouting, "Weren't we allies? How dare you abandon me!"
"Ah, you'll die a horrible death..."
The sound abruptly stopped, and the iron cage immediately disappeared from the third floor.
Watching the other person's disappearing figure, Fu Xi frowned. "Was that man in black also an accomplice? It seems there's more than one person trying to get rid of me!"
While Fu Xi was pondering, Yu Wenwen and the others had already packed up the spoils of war.
"Xiao Fu, everything's done. Let's hurry and leave!" Yu Wenwen said anxiously.
"No rush, there's still one person who hasn't been saved!" Fu Xi's gaze turned to the woman in white not far away.
"Envoy, I must use this opportunity to save Lu Lin!" Fu Xi said.
The woman in white didn't speak. The iron cage immediately rose and opened, and Lu Lin, carrying Su Rong's body, walked out of it in a disheveled state.
Perhaps because his body was frozen, Lu Lin stumbled and fell heavily to the ground, taking Su Rong with him.
"Are you alright?" Fu Xi quickly helped the other person up.
"Thank you, Boss Fuxi!" Lu Lin was dejected, no longer the spirited man he once was.
Fu Xi didn't speak; his gaze immediately locked onto the envoy who was about to leave.
"My lord, why are you walking so fast?" Fu Xi's eyes revealed a strong killing intent.
He could never forget how many times this woman had tricked him along the way.
He had sworn that he would kill the other person if given the chance.
"What else do you want?" The woman in white stopped and glanced at Fuxi.
She wanted to play dumb to give Fuxi a way out, but he refused; he was determined to kill her.
"Your Excellency, you seem to have a short memory. Have you forgotten how you schemed against us before?" Fu Xi said coldly.
The air was deathly silent. After a moment's hesitation, the woman in white spoke, "Are you sure?"
"Are you threatening me?" Fu Xi stared intently at her.
"I advise you to think this through. Once you've done something, there's no going back!" the woman in white advised.
Those around who were unaware of the situation were completely dumbfounded.
"What are they doing?!"
"Is Fuxi really that fierce? She actually went head-to-head with the Envoy?"
People around him were talking amongst themselves, but that was exactly what Fu Xi wanted. With so many people as witnesses, he could finally speak.
His gaze immediately turned to the end of the stairs.
"I have obtained the leader; I hope the Boundless Lord will kill this woman for me!"
As soon as the words were spoken, an uproar erupted around them. Not only were they shocked, but the woman in white was equally stunned, a hint of panic flashing across her face.
"Fuxi, are you sure? This was a chance for Master to make a move, and you're using it on me. Wouldn't it have been better to exchange it for something forbidden?"
"You're talking too much, which means you're scared! But no matter how much you talk, you're going to die today!" Fu Xi withdrew her gaze and looked at the end of the stairs again.
Behind the red curtain at the end of the stairs, a man with deep eyes gazed down.
"are you sure?"
Fu Xi didn't hesitate at all! "I'm sure!"
"Granted!" As soon as the words were spoken, the woman in white instantly turned into a pool of blood, unable to even utter a scream.
If it weren't for the familiar clothes on the ground, Fu Xi would have doubted whether the other person was dead or not.
"Thank you, Lord of Boundless, for helping me!" Fu Xi's pupils shrank, but she quickly realized what was happening.
"Now that things are over, I won't see you off!"
……
After everyone left, a woman in white emerged from the pool of blood.
"He's really ruthless! He's not even afraid of me retaliating against him!"
"Revenge? He'd be more afraid if you didn't die!"
"That's true, but Master, if you give him the thing, can he really keep it?"
"Since he was able to win, I believe he can hold on!" The Boundless Lord sat high above the red curtain, and in his hand floated a stone that shimmered with white light.
Upon closer inspection, aside from the color, the shape and size of this stone were exactly the same as the one Fuxi had.
……
On a riverbank, a group of people stood still, while the boundless land behind them mysteriously vanished.
"So we came out too late after all? The Kuroshio has arrived!"
Fu Xi looked up at the sky, where a black mist enveloped the surroundings, and the roars of the eerie creatures could be heard incessantly.
"Squeak squeak squeak!"
Immediately afterwards, the sound of running echoed through the forest as countless Class C monsters rushed towards them!
"Damn it, this is a Class C bizarre group!"
