Chapter 106 Surrender

Chapter 106 Surrender

The giant dragon inside the water sphere was still alive.

Dui frowned slightly, and cast the most powerful Transfiguration spell with his wand.

The water sphere rapidly transformed into a giant serpent larger than Smaug, which coiled tightly around him and eventually became a massive chain that firmly bound the dragon.

After doing all this, Dui couldn't help but catch his breath, his face turning slightly pale.

Using Transformation on such a colossal creature was far too much for him in his current state; if it weren't for Gandalf's Ring of Fire, he wouldn't have dared to attempt it at all.

"Are you alright?" Gandalf asked with concern.

Dui shook his head.

"I'm fine. The most important thing now is to take care of this dragon!"

The dragon is now bound by huge chains, its limbs and mouth firmly restrained, and it has temporarily lost the ability to move.

They need to take this opportunity to get rid of him as soon as possible.

Otherwise, once the dragon recovers and breaks free, it will be difficult to deal with.

The two quickly arrived at the dragon's side. Now that their mouths were bound by chains, they didn't have to worry about the dragon suddenly spewing dragonfire.

Gandalf stood on the dragon's back and forcefully pulled the sword that had been stuck in the dragon's back.

Dui also came to the dragon's injured wing, grabbed the divine spear Eglos with both hands, and pulled it out with all his might. A stream of blood as hot as magma flowed out of the wound.

The dragon immediately let out a painful groan.

Duy waved his wand, causing the dragon to flip over, its chest exposed on its back.

The two looked at the spot on the dragon's chest where a scale had been cut open, now covered by molten lava from the dragon's black arrow.

The black arrow is made of a very hard material, and now that it covers the gap, its defensive capabilities are no less than those of the original dragon scales.

It can be said that the dragon now has no weaknesses.

However, this only applies to other people.

Dui gently tapped the black iron on the notch with his wand, and the iron slowly deformed, turning into a huge nail that pierced into the flesh.

The dragon, sensing its life was threatened, struggled violently, its eyes filled with terror.

"No, don't kill me! I'll surrender! If you spare my life, I promise I'll never retaliate, and I'll even give you all my treasure!"

With his mouth gagged, Smaug used his mental powers to convey a plea for mercy.

Seeing that Duy had stopped moving, Gandalf assumed he had been bewitched by the dragon and quickly warned him, "Duy, don't believe the dragon's words! Dragons are very cunning; language is their magic. They are very good at using words to sow discord and bewitch people!"

Seeing Gandalf's worried expression, Duy smiled and shook his head.

"Gandalf, don't worry, I'm not so easily seduced by dragons."

"It's just that I thought of a better way than killing the dragon, so I wanted to give it a try."

Gandalf was still uneasy; in his view, such evil creatures as dragons should be killed completely.

However, since the dragon was trapped by Dui, it is up to Dui to decide how to deal with it.

"Duir, do you have any ideas?"

"I have a contract magic here. It requires both parties to sign voluntarily and be witnessed by a witness. It will form an absolute binding force, ensuring that no one can violate the contract."

Dui explained.

"I would like to ask Gandalf to be my witness before I sign a contract with Shi Yuge, making him my servant."

Upon hearing Dui's words, Gandalf frowned, his face showing worry.

"Will it really work?"

"Give it a try!" Dui said with a shrug, but his face was full of confidence.

As he spoke, he turned to look at the dragon, his eyes cold.

"Smaug, you heard me too. Now, say it: are you willing to swear an oath to me and submit to me?"

"If you don't want to, I'll send you to your death right now!"

The divine spear Aiglos in his hand radiated a sharp edge, pressing directly against the dragon's forehead, causing a faint stinging sensation.

Upon hearing that there was a chance to live, the dragon Smaug was overjoyed, a sly glint in his eyes, and immediately nodded.

"Yes! I do!"

Seeing that he agreed so quickly, Du Yi sneered inwardly.

Anyway, he was just asking, regardless of whether Smaug was true or false.

Once the contract is finalized, it will be too late for the other party to back out.

So Dui cast a soundproof spell on himself and Gandalf, and blurred the image, before giving Gandalf the Unbreakable Oath.

Gandalf's eyes brightened as he listened, and his previously worried expression gradually softened.

His face was full of surprise and admiration for Dui.

"Duir, you've given me another surprise!"

Smaug, standing outside the soundproof spell, watched the two talking but couldn't hear a word, and the change in Gandalf's attitude gave him a vague sense of unease.

Before long, Dui removed the soundproofing spell.

"Smaug, from this moment on you shall do as I say, without the slightest resistance."

"Otherwise, if you hesitate even for a moment, I'll let that iron nail in your chest continue to grow until it pierces your heart and kills you!"

"Did you hear that?" Dui's tone turned stern and cold.

Smaug grew increasingly uneasy, but seeing the undisguised murderous intent in Duy's eyes and the iron nail throbbing in his chest, he quickly nodded.

"I heard you, I'm willing to obey you!"

Time was of the essence, and Dui didn't waste any more words with Smaug. He placed one hand on the dragon's forehead and began chanting a spell.

Gandalf, as a witness, took out the wand that Duy had made for him and placed it on Duy's hand as he made contact with the dragon.

"Smaug the dragon, are you willing to submit to me and serve me from this day forward?" Dui asked.

Smaug could already feel an invisible magic enveloping him and Duir; once he agreed, that magic would descend upon him, forming an unbreakable bond between their souls.

Once Smaug understood the situation, he instantly sensed something was wrong!

He was initially very confident that even if he had signed some kind of magical contract, he was confident he could break free. Then, taking advantage of Dui's momentary lapse in attention...

She retaliated fiercely to repay the humiliation he had caused her.

But he never expected that there was such a contract magic in the world that he had never heard of before, which actually bound directly to the soul!

Without giving him time to hesitate, the giant iron nail in his chest grew rapidly, piercing through his flesh and heading straight for his heart.

Smaug was instantly terrified. He clearly felt the tip of the nail touch his heart and that it would pierce through him in the next second.

"I promise! I promise!!!"

Smaug cried out in alarm.

As soon as he finished speaking, a thin, dazzling tongue of fire shot from the tip of Gandalf's wand, like a red-hot metal wire, and wrapped around Duy's hand and the dragon's neck.

Then it merged into it, becoming a golden-red pattern.

"Smaug the dragon, from this moment forward, do you promise never to betray me, never to harm me, until the end of your life?"

This time, without waiting for Dui's threat, Smaug quickly replied, "I do!"

Another tongue of fire shot from the tip of the wand, adding a tattoo to Duy's right hand and Smaug's neck.

"Smaug the dragon, from this moment forward, are you willing to obey my commands forever, and never disobey me?"

"I do!"

With the wise Gandalf present, they offered further reminders.

Dui made more than a dozen oaths in succession, guaranteeing from all aspects that his oaths would not be exploited or leave any opportunity for verbal traps.

Ultimately, Dui's arms were left with streaks of gold and red, which looked very mysterious and cool.

Having fulfilled his vow, Dui waved his hand and unlocked Smaug's chains.

Smaug, the dragon bound by his oath, had now resigned himself to his fate.

They didn't even dare to harbor the slightest malice towards Dui.

If even a tiny bit is exposed, the golden-red patterns on his neck will come to life, turning into hot, red metal wires that tighten relentlessly, trying to strangle him to death. His soul will also suffer excruciating pain, comparable to the power of the Cruciatus Curse.

Even if he dares to retaliate, he will die instantly before he can even hurt Dui!

"Master—." Smaug lowered his head and called out humbly.
