Chapter 50: Change or not change!
Chapter 50: Change or not change!
When he mentioned Earth, Gao Ya thought of Luo Feng.
The chosen one of this world, because of his existence, has already slightly altered the trajectory of destiny.
For example, the Chaos Stele he chose was not the Nine Universes Chaos Stele, but the Golden Void Fusion Law Chaos Stele, which was more compatible with him.
For example, his first teacher in Chaos City was not Zhen Yan, but Jin Chen Wang, who followed the path of the Golden Void Fusion Law under the command of Tian Xing Venerable.
Of course, some things haven't changed, such as becoming an apprentice of the Chaos City Lord and selling Earth's sea areas and the airspace above them to a virtual universe company, etc.
Overall, the major trends haven't changed much, but the minor trends have shifted considerably.
Gao Ya snapped out of his thoughts, his gaze falling on Zachary and Nora, and asked, "The Earth residency slots were requested for the Vitara race, weren't they?"
"The teacher is incredibly insightful," Zach quickly flattered, a fawning smile spreading across his face.
Gao Ya was amused by his words; did she even need to guess?
Zakri, the supreme ruler of the universe, is no longer capable of having children. He also happens to have a wife, who happens to be from an ordinary human race, the Vitara. This race has no cosmic ruler, not even a cosmic overlord; only two High-Level Venerables reside there. Given their abilities, it's impossible for them to obtain a place to live on Earth.
Now that they have Zachary as their son-in-law, those two High Venerables have probably complained to Zachary about how pitiful their race is, and how they've heard that Earth can cultivate races with even greater potential, and so on.
However, since Zakri was his only personally trained disciple, he had to give him that much face.
Gao Ya readily agreed: "No problem, are ten million slots enough for each era?"
"Enough, enough!" Zachary exclaimed, startled.
He had thought that the teacher would be lucky to give him a few hundred thousand places, but he never expected that the teacher would write ten million places in one era!
Even the smallest floating cities on Earth only have five or six hundred million people, and this accounts for one-fiftieth of that!
Nora, standing beside her, was also stunned, and the next moment her eyes welled up with deep gratitude.
"Thank you for your kindness, teacher!" Nora bowed deeply in gratitude.
Gao Ya looked at her and reminded her, "Although the spot has been given to your clan, remember, once you're on Earth, behave yourself, have children peacefully, don't cause trouble, and especially don't set foot on land. Otherwise, you might very well get yourself into trouble, understand?"
"Yes, sir, I will certainly relay this to the clan and instruct its members to behave accordingly!"
Gao Ya nodded slightly. He would protect Zachary and Nora, but he couldn't care less about Nora's family; a few words of advice were enough.
"Alright, is there anything else? If not, you may leave."
"Yes, teacher," the two replied in unison, their figures transforming into specks of light and disappearing from the spot.
More than two thousand years later
In the Wuhua Secret Realm, on Ice Prison Star, in the Southern Ice Prison, there stands a magnificent palace perched atop a snow-covered landscape.
"A priceless treasure in exchange for an anonymous sensor," said the massive, gray-black-furred Sirius.
After staring at him for a long time, Luo Feng slowly uttered two words: "Not for sale."
You think you can get rid of him with just one valuable treasure? Everything he wears and carries is worth more than that.
"You won't even sell a single treasure!" Sirius suddenly roared in fury, his voice rising eight octaves, his aura surging, even the fur on his body radiating a terrifying power.
"Not for sale," Luo Feng calmly shook his head.
Hairy?
We're all evenly matched, who are you trying to scare?
Sirius snorted angrily, "Two priceless treasures! This is the maximum price I can afford!"
Luo Feng picked at his ear and laughed, "Not for sale."
"Roar!" The wolf was completely enraged and could not control its anger. It raised its huge front paw and slammed it down on Luo Feng with the power to tear through space!
Peng!
The entire palace was shaken!
a moment
Sirius frowned, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes.
He raised his paw and saw a small, exquisite palace standing quietly where Luo Feng had just been!
"call out!"
The palace transformed into a stream of light, flying to the other end of the main hall. As the light faded, Luo Feng's figure reappeared, and the small palace merged back into his body.
"How about it, want to come again?" Luo Feng asked with a smile from a distance.
Tianlang stared intently at Luo Feng, gritting his teeth: "An ordinary, high-value palace!"
In his mind, only supreme treasures typically take the form of palaces; ordinary treasures are rarely made into palaces, let alone ordinary ordinary treasures.
Even Venerable Ones might not possess such a thing; this human before me holds a high position among the human race.
"Sirius, stop wasting your energy. You're just an invincible king, you can't do any harm to me. If you don't have a suitable price, I'm leaving."
Luo Feng turned to leave when Tianlang suddenly called out, "Wait!"
"I possess a treasure that even cosmic beings would fight tooth and nail to seize..."
"Stop talking nonsense and just show it to me. Why are you being so mysterious, you invincible king?" Luo Feng said, turning around.
Sirius was taken aback by his words, and the long speech he had prepared to use to entice him was swallowed back down before it could even be uttered.
Sirius took a few deep breaths, suppressing his anger. He knew the situation was beyond his control; the other party possessed what he wanted.
"Fine, I'll let you see it first." As soon as Sirius finished speaking, its right paw casually rose, and a hexagonal stone tablet, the size of a human palm, appeared out of thin air on its thick, fur-covered paw pad. Its surface shimmered with a deep, eerie light, and it was carved with ferocious beasts.
Luo Feng examined the stone tablet closely, and his expression suddenly became strange.
Isn't this the Beast God's Legacy Token? It used to be quite rare among humans, but ever since that Star Lord created the Fusion Law, it's practically been collected as an artifact.
This was something he heard from Lord Kander when he first went to Chaos City and chose the Chaos Stele of the Golden Void Fusion Law.
This guy actually has the nerve to use it as a bargaining chip?
Oh!
correct!
Sirius has been imprisoned here and unable to contact the outside world, so he is truly unaware of the situation outside.
Luo Feng narrowed his eyes, an idea forming in his mind.
This icy prison holds twelve thousand alien immortals. He needs to kill ten thousand of them to collect ten thousand tokens to leave. This isn't difficult for him, but it will take at least ten thousand years.
Compared to a lifespan of ten million years, ten thousand years is not a long time, but there's no need to waste it on something like this. Wherever he trains, it doesn't matter. Besides, his ultimate goal here is to retrieve the third black metal plate.
Since that's the case, wouldn't it be wonderful to use Sirius to help him escape?
"It seems I'll have to ask the Lord of Chaos City for help again."
He snapped out of his daze, looked at Tianlang, and said, "Alright, I agree. However, I want both of your precious treasures and the Beast God's Inheritance Token."
"Human, don't go too far!" Sirius roared.
Luo Feng waved his hand in front of his nose, frowning in disgust. How long has it been since this guy brushed his teeth?
Then, he said firmly, "I don't want to bargain with you. Two precious treasures, plus the Beast God's Inheritance Token, in exchange for an anonymous sensor."
"Change?"
"I'm not changing it!"
"Hmph..." Sirius slowly grinned, revealing gleaming white fangs. Its eyes were like dark red vortexes in an abyss. Its claws dug deep into the hard ground. As it leaned forward and exerted force, its claws slashed through the earth, and the iron-hard rock shattered like rotten wood, leaving five jagged furrows.
Seeing that he looked like he wanted to devour him, Luo Feng chuckled and said, "If you don't make a decision soon, I'm leaving."
