Chapter 310 Lupin's Fate
"Remus Lupin." A young man greeted him with a surprised smile. "I didn't expect to see you here."
"You are—" Lupin paused for a few seconds before recognizing the man before him: "Carlo Hamilton?"
This is one of Lupin's classmates, a classmate he doesn't like very much, and even dislikes a bit—why is he here?
Is he Mr. PH?
Lupin immediately shook his head, then slightly tightened his grip on his wand.
"Why are you here?" he asked slowly.
"Why?" Carlo raised an eyebrow. "Because this is the Hamilton family's house—"
"Ah—I see." He nodded as if he had thought of something: "You're serving Aunt Loila, right?"
'
"Please come in. Since you are Aunt Loila's subordinate—then we can barely be considered—allies."
"I'm not her subordinate," Lupin said slowly, without stepping into the room. "We're friends."
"Friends?" Carlo gave a somewhat awkward smile. "Hahaha—friends are fine too—weren't they?"
"My aunt is really interesting."
"But it's alright. Since you're here, please come in."
"No need for that yet," Lupin said after a pause. "I'm not here as a guest."
"I'm here to find something for Loila."
"Looking for something?" Carlo raised an eyebrow knowingly, then lowered his voice slightly and said, "Could it be—PH?"
"Sir?"
"————" Lupin looked at him in surprise. He really didn't expect that the person in front of him would know such a thing. Was it Royla who said it?
Was it her cousin who said it?
"Don't misunderstand, don't misunderstand." Carlo smiled. "After all, the people who were able to find this place are probably thanks to Mr. PH, right?"
"Then please come in, Mr. PH will be here shortly." He said, opening the door to reveal a clean room and living room.
Sunlight streamed through the glass onto the floor, creating a somewhat warm atmosphere—however—Lupin frowned slightly.
"You don't live here, do you?" he said slowly. "Or rather—no one has lived here for a long time."
"Huh?" Carlo was taken aback. "What are you talking about?"
"Because it doesn't look like anyone lives here—" Lupin said, taking a slight step back. Even though the person in front of him was a relative of Luo Yili, he subconsciously sensed danger.
Whether it was the wizard's intuition or the werewolf's—but whichever it was—Lupin was not prepared to step inside.
He stood at the door and said slowly, "If Mr. PH is really here—then I'll take my leave."
"I'll bring Loila with me next time."
.. "
Seeing his cautious demeanor, Carlo smiled slightly.
"Is that so, old classmate?"
He shrugged, seemingly a little helpless, as if he couldn't do anything about Lupin, which made Lupin breathe a slight sigh of relief.
It seems he's not going to do anything.
But Carlo just sighed, and then said helplessly, "We've already come all this way, why are we leaving now?!"
"You werewolf are really a bit... arrogant."
"Expelliarmus!" As soon as he finished speaking, a red spell flew out from behind him.
"Bang!"
Lupin reacted swiftly, dodging the spell with a sidestep, and then instinctively flicked his hand to throw out a disarming spell in the same way.
The disarming spell also failed to hit Carlo, instead being blocked by the armor spell he cast.
"Lupin, Lupin—this is Hamilton family territory." He looked at Lupin, whose face was pale, and said slowly, "You don't think—you can walk away by yourself, do you?"
"What are you doing?" Lupin took a few steps back, looking at the Hamilton family wizards who were gradually walking out from the surrounding area.
"I am a friend of Loila Hamilton."
"Loila Hamilton—Loila Hamilton—" Carlo said with a grin, "You'd better worry about yourself first, Remus Lupin."
"That bastard—someone will deal with him."
"No—don't do this—Daddy—"

In the Hogwarts infirmary, Loila lay unconscious on the bed, occasionally letting out soft murmurs, followed by slight groans of pain.
Nagini, sitting on the edge of the bed, looked at her with worry on her face—it was all her fault for not knowing how to use spells.
If only I could have stopped that Boggart back then— Nagini reached out and gently placed her hand on Loila's forehead, hoping it would make her feel a little better.
Loila was not only unconscious, but also had a high fever. According to Madam Pomfrey, she might need to rest for many days, even with the help of potions.
Although there's nothing cliché about having to overcome an inner demon while it's in a coma—her current situation seems to be no different from that.
Several days have passed since Valentine's Day, and nothing much has happened at Hogwarts during this time. Nagini has been by Royla's side almost day and night.
She would only rest after Luna arrived—for no other reason than that there were people at Hogwarts who wanted to kill Loyra.
And it's almost certain that Nagini is him.
But when she told Dumbledore about it, he simply smiled and said, "Miss Nagini."
"It's not time to close the net yet," he said, while still playing Wizard's Chess, a sight that made Nagini give a wry smile.
He really is still exactly the same as he was fifty years ago—Nagini certainly wouldn't forget what he said and did fifty years ago—it seems that time hasn't changed Dumbledore.
He was completely absorbed in his game, whether it was himself or someone else, everyone was focused on the chessboard.
"However—you're right." Dumbledore suddenly seemed to realize something and slowly raised his head: "Sometimes even an old man like me finds playing chess alone quite boring, doesn't he?"
"Please continue to stay with Miss Hamilton."
"When she awakens, the dust will have settled." Dumbledore paused, then added, "Also—could you please ask Mr. Potter and his two friends to come over?"
Nagini certainly helped him, but what he talked about with the three students is unknown.
Nagini shook his head, sat down in his chair, sighed softly, and then reached out to help Loila change the towel on her forehead.
I hope she gets better soon — Nagini's hands clenched slightly as she looked at her pale face.
"Beep beep beep——————Beep beep beep."
But just then, she suddenly saw the necklace around Loila's neck make a piercing sound, along with a dazzling blue light.
This is—whose magic barrier on their necklace has been activated?
If it wasn't him and Luna—Nagini immediately realized the answer.
It's Remus Lupin.
