Chapter 42 The Special Pivot Squad

"Entrusted by Mr. Tian Shu, the administrator of the 137th Weapon Research Institute, to search for the missing special team."

Lorraine answered truthfully, explaining that the intelligence system had only indicated that there was a team being chased by zombies. Based on the principle of taking a chance, he launched a drone for reconnaissance.

The response received on the pre-order channel indicates that this is the same team that Mr. Tian Shu requested them to search for.

"We are being chased by a horde of zombies and cannot see you. What help can you offer?"

The female voice on the channel seemed to breathe a sigh of relief.

"Our drones are circling above you. Could you move eastward?"

The sound of grass blades rustling came from the channel.

"We are able to move, but there are zombies to our north, east, and west."

Lorraine launched all the support drones while communicating with the female voice.

Lorraine switched the drone to night vision mode and saw five flashing red lights.

"Location information confirmed, support expected to arrive in 3 minutes."

Lorraine watched as the four drones flew at top speed and informed the team of the exact time the support would arrive.

During those three minutes, Lorraine controlled the gunboat to turn its course, pointing the bow north.

The main gun was always aimed at the west, with its muzzle pointing towards the ground, and high-explosive shells in the breech ready to be fired.

At the same time, a second reconnaissance drone was launched.

"Support has arrived. Begin luring the zombies."

Three minutes later, four support drones arrived on time.

One of the support drones, carrying incendiary bombs, flew low overhead, startling the zombies hiding in the grass. Suddenly, dark shadows appeared on the grass, chasing the drone southward.
