A question mark appeared on Jin's screen. Things had gone too smoothly. The mechanical spirits in this tomb were at an extremely low activity level and were not sensitive to external stimuli. Apart from low-level insectoid undead machines, they had not even encountered a decent humanoid undead army.

"Kim-306 has arrived at the target point, deployment complete, and will begin its first intrusion in three minutes."

After sending the message, the sage silently gazed at the tomb engineer's coffin, lost in thought.

....................................

Hades stared at the screen. So far, the space undead had not been awakened at all. The plan was going smoothly!

....................................

Tick, tick.

The moisture from the rainforest seeps into the caves through the cracks in the soil.

The deceased lay asleep in the tomb, and Alina α3 watched the lord's guards with great interest; they were completely unactivated, which was unbelievable.

Such a world does exist, where the automaton spirit is completely inactive and unresponsive—but this situation is extremely rare. Generally speaking, perhaps only worlds that have been specially "cared for" would be like this.

Could it be before them—

Alina's thoughts were interrupted as the sage saw a familiar figure in his sight: Gold-306.

The two sages stood before the coffin of the undead lord, gazing at each other in silence, while the skulls of the servants beside them stared back at each other.

Jin's limbs were already resting on the necromancer's coffin, clearly in preparation for hacking.

"It seems... we're thinking the same thing."

Alina said.

Jin nodded silently. "Our decision-making processes are probably similar."

Alina paused for a moment, then a pleased expression appeared on her face.

“Then I think I don’t need to worry about Hades’s harsh punishment. I think you are more likely to be held accountable than I am.”

"Yes,"

Kim said he didn't remove his own appendage at all, "so I'll do it—and you're late."

Alina's attitude instantly turned to dissatisfaction.

....................................

Hades paused, holding the poisoned wine in his hand.

His intuition told him that something was going on—Hades glanced at the monitor subconsciously; the two sages' vital signs were stable, and their reports every three minutes were normal.

Hmm... is he overthinking it?

Even so, Hades chose to send another team down and decided to be prepared for battle at any time.

Hades wasn't too worried about the fact that the army they brought was fully capable of wiping out this marginal undead force.

Hades pondered, staring at the lush planet, but his thoughts were elsewhere. The Empire had already begun replicating necromancy technology, and Hades naturally hoped that the Empire could replicate more necromancy technology, or even technology from the Golden Age.

They don't even need to innovate; simply restoring some of the past technologies is enough for them to gain a foothold in this chaotic galaxy.

Hades took a sip of his drink, trying to think of something fun. Hades thought, in another month he would be able to go back to Barbarossa, and he had to lie down for a day no matter what.

Hades looked up again at the monitor, where the words "Nishirak Dynasty" kept flashing. He hoped the King of Figurines would forgive him.

Perhaps he would simply keep the figurine king from finding out about this—which is obviously quite simple.

Hades thought so.

------------

Clearly, it needs to make a decision.

Tarasin stood up and walked through its proud museum, gazing at its collections, so beautiful, so historically significant, shaped by the past, and all it could do was preserve them.

It may have enough time to cover up its little dealings with humans, but Tarachin has no intention of pledging allegiance to the Silent King; no, that is absolutely impossible.

It, Tarasin, will be its own master.

The hierarchy among the Fear of Death has been strictly enforced since ancient times. Superiors can slaughter their subordinates at will without any punishment. Only those of sufficient rank are allowed to have some individuality and self-expression, but they are still slaves when facing their superiors.

After transforming into undead, the master control protocol rendered them completely unable to resist.

Talasi did not expect the Silent King to make them great again; that madman had already missed one chance, burning the entire Fearful Ones to the ground. And the Storm King, who was at odds with it, was a tyrannical martial maniac—the Storm King liked the form of the space necromancer and hoped to conquer everything again.

It's absolutely insane.

Taracin thought, "They've already lost their sense of self, their souls. Should we also make other beings lose their sense of self? Let the entire galaxy fall into a dull, lifeless silence?"

Compared to those two madmen, Eurycan seemed much more amiable.

It needed to gather its own power, Taraxin thought. It had a large army and Star God fragments under its command, but all of that was in vain in the face of the Silent King's overall control agreement.

run?

Tarasin thought, now—

..............................

"I will open it in 1.2 seconds."

Jin calmly announced this, and Alina α3 nodded. The necromancer's coffin was slowly opened, clearly indicating that the sages wanted to go further—

Then they saw—

A "substitute".

The true ruler of this dynasty was replaced by another space necromancer, but who this new space necromancer is...

Perhaps Jin and Alina Alina wouldn't recognize him, but if Hades were called over, he would definitely recognize him.

This is a stand-in in the style of the King of Figurines.

"They've come after me?!"

The space necromancer in the coffin sat up abruptly and shouted, but before it could rise and begin its attack, King's Om Messiah Axe had already reached its head.

----------

"Hey!!!"

A sleeping stand-in under its command sent a dying video. Tarachin roared, "It was just pondering how to handle its relationship with humans, and now it's wreaking havoc on its territory?!"

To be precise, it was the territory that Taracin had "temporarily" taken over. It had gone to this tomb world to retrieve something, and in the process, it accidentally damaged the world's machine spirit, which led to a fight with the somewhat deranged lord.

In the end, Tarachin placed a double of himself in the lord's coffin.

------------

Hades remained silent for a moment, but he still felt that something was not quite right.

He reached for the tortilla, trying to use the food to suppress his inner unease.

The next moment, the door to his command room rang.

Boom!Boom!Boom!

"Open the door! You bastard!!!"

Tarasin cursed angrily.

Hades!!! You've got your benefactor in your pocket?!

……

Hades' first reaction was that Alina's plan for Alina was flawed; it seemed they couldn't completely block the messages from the Necromancers launching outwards.

That's all! I need to study on Monday, and I have final exams on Tuesday and Wednesday, so there won't be any updates on Monday.

Chapter 637 Professional Keeper

"Who is coming?!"

Hades drank, but he had already quickly stood up and opened the door. A curse came from behind the door, "You son of a bitch!"

"You are the one I love,"

Hades forced a smile, his shoulder resting against the doorframe as he leaned against it, gazing at "Tarasin".

Hades was pretty sure this guy had popped out of who-knows-where—maybe from the accompanying sages, or somewhere on the ship.

"What wind brings you here?"

"Ha, Dis, Si".

Tarachin said calmly, "What are you doing?"

Hades first remarked that it had been a long time since anyone had addressed him by his name so casually as Tarasin, before finally addressing Tarasin's question.

Hades had a serious expression.

"Tomb raiding".

Whose was it dug up?

"..."

Hades was silent for a moment, the words "Nihirak Dynasty" on the screen behind him were glaringly terrifying.

Is it too late for him to say he is illiterate?

“It seems—” Hades drawled, “that this tomb is related to you, Tarasin?”

"Are you the owner of this tomb?"

Before Tarasim could speak, Hades spoke first.

"But I thought—the tomb world you lead wouldn't be so shabby?"

"That's natural!"

Tarasim almost jumped up at Hades's shamelessness, but of course he gladly accepted Hades's compliment. Hades made way for him, and they went into the room together, where Hades pulled out another chair.

Taracin glanced at the planet beyond the porthole, its shimmering white light bathing their feet. This wasn't its own world; to be precise, it was the one it "acted on behalf of."

This burial world contains pottery made by those who fear the dead, and it went to rescue and protect them.

"I have temporarily taken over the world."

Tarasin spoke with righteous indignation, but Hades clearly understood the implication in his words, and Hades gave a playful—or rather, irritating—smile.

"It seems we made an unfortunate choice."

Hades said, as he was on his way, he brought Tarachin a small drink. "Want a drink? You bought me a Coke back then—now I can return the favor."

Tarasin's detectors detected a hissing, black liquid with ominous bubbles rising from the bottom; it was highly corrosive, highly psionic, extremely toxic, and deadly.

Tarasim hesitated for a moment, then accepted the drink. She had seen poor imitations in the Death Guard's ranks, but Hades's cup was clearly the genuine article; it might be an interesting collectible.

Taracin pretended to drink, but actually threw everything into the dimensional labyrinth; it was his, and he kept it.

Hades, on the other hand, was clearly a little disappointed that the Necromancer hadn't drunk any alcohol; perhaps he was curious about the Necromancer's resistance to corrosion.

Tarasin, of course, wouldn't let him have his way.

“I can understand your love for Coke, Hades,” Tarasin said, naturally pointing to the bottle Hades was holding up with the liquid, which was made from the shell of some kind of crustacean. “But what is this?”

Hades paused, squinting his eyes.

"Don't you think this tastes alright?" Hades said. "You have to savor it carefully; the aftertaste is quite strong."

After-effects? That's probably the lament of the immune and detoxification systems. Tarasin rolled his eyes deftly with this body.

The figure king cautiously dipped his fingertip in the liquid, and sure enough, he heard a hissing sound. The two fell into silence, only hearing the voice of the tomb raider reporting to Hades.

This is even more awkward.

“So,” Tarasin spoke up, crossing his arms, “how will you compensate me?”

"compensate you?"

Hades countered, having reviewed the message sent back by King several times, and temporarily set aside his amiable inquiry into the two sages' thoughts.

Hades is now 100% certain that the tomb they've entered is a discounted one, and that Tarachin is not the owner, but a tomb raider who came before them.

"We're going to split this grave together?"

Hades tentatively asked, "Or perhaps we can avoid reporting your little tricks to your Emperor?"
