Warhammer: I don't want to become a stinky can!

The Bonebreaker's shadow fell upon him, and the Bonebreaker sighed deeply. Instantly, all the greenskins felt a strange fear.

It's like the fear of knowing you can't fight for the next three days.

“To be honest, I’m scared,” the Bonebreaker said softly. As soon as he said this, almost all the green-skinned creatures stopped, and even photosynthesis was no longer possible!

"I saw a monster, an amorphous being, without any WAAAAAGH, black, hairy, and smooth, which made me... made me want to vomit."

The Bone Crusher truthfully expressed his feelings.

"And I know that Brother Gao and Brother Mao thought the same thing! I saw them vomit all over the place, even splashing into the garden!"

"By Brother Gao and Brother Mao," said the Bonebreaker, "we're going to slay that monster! WAAAAAGH!!!"

But no Greenskins responded to the Bonebreaker. The Greenskins were terrified. Good heavens! If the Russians could still vomit something, what would they do if they encountered it? They'd be vomiting up their own toes!

The Bonebreaker frowned, pulled out his large club, and slammed it to the ground with a loud bang!

"You're scared!"

The man who broke the bones said, "But I know, because—I was scared too! I vomited too! I threw up my pants full of semen from the night before last!"

At just the right moment, a series of vomiting sounds echoed through the hall.

The Bonebreaker remained unfazed, giving his warriors a moment to vomit.

"But when I woke up!" the Bone Crusher roared, "I felt nothing but rage! I wanted to swing my club and smash that monster's skull! I wanted to tear him apart with my claws! I wanted to stand under the gaze of Brother Gao and Brother Mao and clean...clean the toilet for them!!!"

“I know,” the Bonebreaker said, his eyes fixed intently on each of the greenskins. Those greenskins who were seen by the Bonebreaker shuddered.

"I know I'm the most WAAAAAGH! I also know that you who follow me are the most WAAAAAGH! Since I can stand up again and shout WAAAAAGH!!! Then you can too! You can also launch an earth-shattering, massive WAAAAAAAAGH against that monster!!!!"

The Bone Crusher raised his chest and pointed his hand towards the ceiling.

"WAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!"

Before the Bonebreaker could finish speaking, the Greenskins erupted in jubilation.

"WAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!"

Layer upon layer of massive waves crashed down, like an endless roar, causing the entire ship to tremble. The Bonebreaker looked at his warriors with satisfaction, but Warboss knew that this was not enough.

Brother Gao and Brother Mao bestowed a divine decree upon him, personally pointing out the path to this great WAAAAAAAGH conquest.

They still need to prepare. Every battle from now on will be a tough one to defeat that monster: the world of shrimp forging, the desolate planet that buries the Star God... until they can form the earth-shattering WAAAAAAAGH that will shock the dark monster!

They acted immediately, never slacking off. An hour later, the main force of the Bonebreakers began to withdraw from Amigidoton in an orderly manner.

At this very moment, Hades, who was squatting beside the tall pile of green-skinned corpses, patiently teaching Black to write formulas, had no idea that outside the Octarius sector, there was indeed an entity that knew of his existence in advance—and was heading towards him.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the Empire that arrived. Or perhaps it was the Death Guard's fleet.

The rolling green hordes are coming for him.

Hades scratched his head, staring at the proof Black had written down, while Black stared nervously at Hades.

"It is indeed feasible."

Hades said, “Let’s do it this way. I’ll try it on a small scale first—sacrifice a planet for Mortalian first.”

Magnus's vision flashed suddenly, and his finger trembled as he pointed at the scrap paper in Hades's hand.

You'd rather believe a blind psychic's proof derived in seven days—and that's even pseudo-psychic power—than believe Magnus, the Empire's greatest psychic!

Hades thought about it and realized Magnus was right.

"Then learn numerology once, and then calculate it again?"

【no way!!!】

Yay! That's it!

Chapter 570 Waking up, scolding the idiot

Somewhere in the Storm Starfield

"We're...trapped?"

Tess stared incredulously out the porthole, the intense light of the burning star illuminating her profile.

They have jumped out of the Octarius sector and successfully left the warp—but they now appear to be spinning in the physical world.

It has been more than a week since they jumped out of the warp. They should have arrived in Barbaros long ago, but they are still drifting among the stars, and have even returned to the place where they originally jumped out of the warp.

The noblewoman shouted a few angry words, then turned and berated her crew, ordering them to find out the problem quickly.

Behind Tiss, the silent, arm-in-arm Tian Shi stared at the enormous star outside the porthole, lost in thought.

Tiss smiled, his tone slightly distorted, and asked...

"I think... this trouble might be caused by that person? I mean, is someone trying to prevent us from completing Hades' mission?"

Barry remained silent, while Tess quickly made a prayer gesture.

"Is this related to those beings in the warp?" the noblewoman asked quickly and softly, but this time, Sky Lion shook his head firmly.

“It’s not warp,” Barry said, frowning. “I didn’t detect any psionic fluctuations, but…”

Tian Shi paused for a moment, then said, "I feel my spiritual power has weakened—but it could also be because of Hades."

"The enemy comes from the physical world?" Tess asked. "Can you find him, Barry?"

Tiens shook his head again. "I don't know," he said hesitantly, "but I think there might not be an enemy at all, or perhaps the thing that limits our existence isn't here."

"I don't understand?"

“If he can make us lose our way so easily,” Barry said, “then he should have killed us long ago, or maybe he’s busy with something else, or maybe he’s just having a perverse pleasure before playing with his prey—I don’t know, but I’ve seen too many of these kinds of people.”

These words startled Tiss, and the noblewoman tentatively asked,

"Then...then...how about we give up on completing the mission for now?"

“No,” Barry said. “Even worthless prey dies faster, Tess.” Celestial Lion sighed. “Be prepared for a long journey. Let’s try to contact the Death Guard. We’ve reached their sector—and given their patrol habits, we might be saved.”

Barbarossa

The ceiling wasn't low, but it felt as cramped and low as a tomb. Dim light drifted weakly through the mist, and there was no light source in sight, only a bone-chilling cold.

squeak-

A jarring screech of a door opening shattered the millennia-long silence. Two death guards hurriedly entered the graveyard of the living. One was tall and silent, his white helmet scarred, while the other held a staff, a lantern emitting a faint green light swaying on its tip.

Their footsteps stirred up the mist. Deep within the tomb, before the last door, the tall warrior at the head stopped, and the tomb keeper behind him also stopped in silence.

They stood outside the door, waiting as if they knew what was going to happen. Seven breaths later, an old, extremely impatient voice came from behind the door, sounding like a sigh or a reprimand.

"Come in……"

The leading warriors hurried inside. They cautiously and respectfully pushed open the door and entered the main room. Inside the completely dark room, a man with metal prosthetics on all four limbs was sitting in a coffin, frowning.

Karas took a deep breath.

"The usual,"

The soldier saluted.

"Honorable Undead, now M41.899, I am Morag, the current commander of the Death Guard, and he is the current chief think tank, Kuhn."

“Morag…” Karas said slowly in a low voice, “...is the same name as someone I used to know…”

Typhon was lost in a brief reverie, a thin layer of white mist obscuring his cloudy eyes. Some said he was simply getting old, while others said it was a blessing from the Pale Lord.

No matter what they said, Karas would beat them up.

After a moment of distraction, Karas regained his composure, staring at Morag and asking with his eyes why he had woken him up.

“The Pale Lord…” Morag swallowed hard. “We have observed the Pale Lord’s activity—the first time since the expedition. My father responded to us, faintly, but it was definitely from him.”

"what?"

Karas suddenly stood up, the IV tubes falling off one by one. Dressed in a simple hospital gown, he stumbled toward the two men.

The legion commander hurriedly stepped forward to help Karas up, but the undead impatiently pushed him away. Karas stared at the chief think tank chief, who immediately understood and handed the staff to the elder.

Blasphemous, soft incantations, like the fluttering of insect wings, escaped from Karas's mouth. Karas held a staff in one hand and reached for the lantern with the other, from which the shimmering green light flowed down as if alive.

Calas Typhon's eyes were illuminated by a shimmering green light, and he was in a daze. For a moment, the undead seemed to be deep in a garden.

The eerie greenery swayed, creating a harmonious yet discordant symphony...

Snapped!

The lantern burst open, and Karas abruptly returned to Barbarus. He blinked, then irritably shoved the broken staff into the think tank chief's hands.

Under the expectant gazes of the two Death Guards, Karas snapped,

"It's him."

Typhon continued irritably, “He is summoning us; he wants to gather his army and launch an attack.”

"Damn it, why now?"

Typhon muttered under his breath, "You old bastard."

"Now?"

The legion commander asked cautiously, "The last truth you left behind was 'This will last forever,' but now... what changes have occurred?"

The elder cast a cold glance at him, and Morag stopped speaking at the opportune moment, awaiting the undead's reply.

Enraged by the incompetence of his juniors, Karas said angrily.

"The subspace points to eternity, of course—but have you forgotten that exception? That idiot, it must be that idiot, that idiot is back."

Karas said, almost through gritted teeth.

Mortalian's psionic powers also proved this to him: the man had returned.

"He still has the nerve to come back? Does he even think he can come back?"

"And the first thing he did upon returning, I think... must have been to try to find Mortarian."

Typhon suddenly turned his head and roared.

"Has the Legion received news of Hades' return?!"

Both of them shook their heads, and Callas immediately cursed again.

"Set up the formation! I need to calculate again! Now, immediately!"

Amidst the roar of the undead, the two visitors practically tumbled and crawled away from the tomb to prepare the altar.

Meanwhile, Callas Typhon paced anxiously, his brow furrowed and muttering to himself.

Message delivery is delayed; the idiot's return should have been earlier, but why didn't the Death Guard receive the message?

Even an idiot has the time and energy to go after Mortalian, but he doesn't have the time to come directly to the Death Guard?

What was holding him back? What was slowing him down?

Or is it that he doesn't want to see the Death Guard?

Karas frowned, trying to recall Mortarian's parting words.

Mortalian, who was almost completely warped, sat listlessly in front of him. Behind the Lord of Death were several hostile Eldar.

【Karas...it's all up to you now.】

"You're really willing to go and die?!"

Karas asked incredulously, "And you're going to die without taking me with you???"

Mortarian's gaze flickered for a moment.

"I just..." the Pale Lord exhaled a puff of mist, "...one of the three of us has to survive."

"Can't you wait until that idiot comes back before starting?! Why do you have to do it now?!"

Mortarian stared calmly at Karas, a calmness tinged with even a hint of sadness.

Do you really believe he can come back?

Mortarian sighed, "People need to help themselves. Do you always expect others to help you?"

The Pale Lord raised his head and smelled the air...
