Ah, the Emperor God said, it's an old theory. Hades didn't intend to refute it; he planned to let Tarachin finish his rambling.
If a person looks like a god and can do things like a god, but claims he is not a god, then is he or she a god?
Hades' answer to this was,
Obtuse angle.
Whether he's a god or not is none of Hades' business!
Anyway, looking at his son, Hades thought that no god could give birth to a child like this.
Seeing that Hades had tacitly agreed, Tarachin continued,
"So let's assume that the Emperor is the racial god of mankind."
"Then the second question arises: which aspect of humanity does your emperor represent?"
Hades was taken aback.
"Isn't it just the concept of humanity?"
"No no no."
Tarasin continued,
"To gain significant power in the warp, the concept of humanity cannot evoke a great deal of emotion."
"In other words, the concept is too complex and not pure enough."
“You can think of those powerful gods you know; they are all composed of concepts that can evoke emotions.”
Hades thought for a moment, then said hesitantly,
"Then revenge?"
The emperor held the power of revenge, and he killed those who believed in the principle of "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth," which was also the mainstream view.
Tarasin nodded.
"I have indeed considered that possibility."
"But perhaps we can think a little further."
"Your rise to power and your active presence on the stage of human history occurred in an era of strife."
"What were you humans doing during that period?"
"war."
Hades suddenly realized something, and he looked at Tarasin—
Yes, war, chaos, death.
"I am more inclined to believe that perhaps your emperor has obtained the power of war, which is represented by mankind."
Hades blinked. Although it was inappropriate, his brother was brave and fierce, and his brother was fierce and brave!
Before Hades could finish his reverie, Tarachin spoke again.
"So, that explains why he launched the Great Expedition."
Damn it? !
Hades instantly realized something.
"I don't know, I don't know anything. What are you talking about? I don't understand what you mean."
"Don't explain! Don't explain! I don't understand!"
Hades' body reacted before his brain, and he instantly covered his ears, afraid of hearing some outrageous remarks from Tarasin.
"I'm warning you, this was given to me by the Emperor of the Left Brain. Don't say anything you shouldn't, or my brain will automatically explode."
Tarasim, who was leading the way, stopped and turned back to wave disdainfully at Hades.
"Go away, it doesn't have that function. I've already checked."
"You even checked it?!"
"You didn't install this kind of function on me, did you!?"
"Am I that kind of evil being?!"
Tarachin, holding up his walking stick, pointed at Hades.
Hades lowered his hands only after Tarasim stopped.
"Aren't you afraid that if I tell you these things, what if the Emperor uses his psychic powers to crush me to death when I go to see him?"
"No, no."
"The thoughts of someone like you won't cause any waves in the warp, so your emperor probably won't care."
"Go talk about this with someone else, don't talk to me about it!"
Hades resisted three times.
Tarachin stared helplessly at Hades.
“I don’t usually have anyone to talk to about these kinds of things. Think about it, which of my clansmen cares about this kind of thing?”
"This is no reason for you to harm me!"
"I won't listen! I won't listen!"
"Two weapons."
Hades' screams stopped instantly.
"Take whatever you like?"
"Take whatever you want."
"You continue."
Tarasin thought that if it were still a coward, the flesh on its face would probably have cramped up.
It coughed twice, then continued speaking.
"Therefore, the wars brought about by the Great Expedition are essentially strengthening the power of your Emperor."
"Although your emperor claims to be reclaiming lost territory, war is his true aim."
No. The Great Expedition is to secure resources for the Network Road Project. But if we really proceed along this line of thinking...
"Could it be that he wants to become a god?"
"Not a race of gods with human nature, but a genuine deity."
"."
"Do not."
Hades murmured.
Knowing the plot, he knew that the emperor absolutely did not want to become a god; on the contrary, he firmly denied becoming a god.
"Even according to your assumption, he might be seeking power to fight against the four Warp Gods."
"But emperors are human."
But if we follow Tarachin's assumption...
In the later stages of the Great Crusade, the Emperor, having amassed sufficient power through the war, hastily returned to Terra to accelerate the Webpath Project. This was partly due to sufficient resources and partly because the accumulation of power during the war had brought him close to the brink of godhood.
The Webpath Project requires the Emperor to have sufficient power to circumvent the interference of the warp, but sufficient power itself is also distorting the Emperor.
He was running out of time; he was about to ascend to godhood. He had to speed things up, even faster, hastily appointing a warlord before returning to Terra.
In that case, the very purpose of the Great Expedition would change.
Hades felt the hairs on his body stand on end.
Perhaps next time, if he really gets to see the Emperor, he can ask him?
Hmm. Does he really dare to ask? You should probably ask Makado about this.
Forget it, Hades, this is just a trap set by an evil alien for you. Forget about it and let it go with the wind!
Hades blinked, focusing his energy and mind on arguing with Tarasin.
"The emperor is not a god, he is a man."
Tarasin clicked his tongue.
“How come you see?”
“His sons, at least from what I have seen so far, I feel, cannot be called gods or demigods.”

Chapter 168 Bargaining
"This counts as a weapon."
"Look at you, you're holding two handguns. You're telling me this is just one?"
"They're a set, so how can they not count as one?"
"There are two!"
"One weapon? You don't have a complete set of weapons, you just take one apart and call it one weapon?"
In Tarasim's armory, Hades held a pistol in each hand and a scythe in his arms.
"Just these three, no, just these two."
"Just tell me whether you're going to give it to me or not."
"You're so rich now, don't be so petty about things."
Tarasin stared at this shameless man. Although Hades spoke kindly, he held onto his weapon tightly.
Hades held two large pistols. One was entirely black, heavy and solid, covered with armor-like plates, with smooth, luminous green lines inlaid on the barrel.
Its name is "Trial".
The other weapon is entirely white, sharp and pointed, with blade-like bone fragments protruding and bright red lines flowing between them.
Its name is "Sending Off the Executioner".
This was something Tarasin found in a twin human kingdom. He liked the design of these two pistols so much that he used necromancy to add attack power to them.
The Trial, a pistol that fires intense particle beams, is a product of mysterious technology from humanity's dark ages. The ammunition fired by this pistol can penetrate any known armor to some extent. Upon contact with the armor, the ammunition creates a deflection layer on the surface of the armor, and another deflection layer on the back of the armor, allowing the ammunition to directly hit the enemy's flesh.
In theory, this gun can penetrate any armor, but in return, it has an extremely short range and a long charging time.
Tarachin was certain that when the gun was turned up to its maximum power, it could easily tear apart any vehicle except for behemoths like Titans.
The White Spear is equipped with special technology from the Space Necromancer. This gun constantly absorbs the sparse energy in the surrounding space, achieving true unlimited firepower without needing to wait for recharging.
The crimson energy that shoots from the muzzle can tear apart enemy shields and flesh, and has extremely strong penetrating power, as well as intense burning heat, and is excellent at long range.
Hades stared innocently at Tarasin, refusing to let go.
"This is a set of weapons, count it as one."
"You don't use them, so they're just sitting there."
"Put that sickle down."
"You already have that black scythe! Why are you taking it from me?!"
Hades blinked. He remembered the weapon the Emperor had given him; the obituary could indeed strengthen his Dark Domain and radiate it outwards, but—
That's only effective against souls. In terms of physical attacks, this scythe is strong, but not as overpowered as the Space Necromancer Phase Weapon. As a metal extracted from the outer shell of a Star God, the Phase Sword can theoretically cut through anything.
However, it is ineffective against the Star God.
Tarasim remained unmoved by the cunning, flesh-and-blood creatures' bargaining.
"Therefore, I'll coat your obituary with a layer of Celestial Metal. So, put down that scythe!"
That scythe, the Blood Scythe, was a relic of a dynasty. Tarasim didn't want to give it away, but the sharp-eyed Hades spotted it right from the deepest corner!
The two resumed their heated argument, while exchanging friendly greetings about their respective races.
