The highest peak in the mountain range is Mount Taniktiel, where the palace of the Valar king Manwë and Varda is located.
Although it is often shrouded in mist, its radiant light can be seen throughout the entire continent of Aman when the mist dissipates.
Valinor, on the other hand, is the heart of Aman, the main home of the Valar and the Elves.
The true rulers of Aman are the Vira, a total of 14, consisting of 7 male Vira and 7 female Vira (also known as Viri).
The seven male Valar are: Manwë, the master of the breath and wind of Arda and the leader of the Valar; Ulmo, the master of the waters; Auril, the god of craftsmen and forging; Oromi, the god of forests and hunting; Mandus (real name Namu), the master of kings and destiny; Lorien (real name Ilmo), the master of dreams and illusions; and Tokas, the god of strength and courage.
The seven female Vera are: Varda (wife of Manwe), the Queen of the Stars; Yavana (wife of Oli), the Goddess of Earth and Plants; Nina, the Goddess of Sorrow; Estée (wife of Ilmu), the Goddess of Rest; Vera (wife of Mandos), the Goddess of Weaving; Vana (wife of Euromie), the Goddess of Flowers; and Nessa (wife of Tokas), the Goddess of Youth.
Of these 14 Valar, only Ulmo, the ruler of the waters of the male Valar, and Nina, the goddess of sorrow of the female Valar, lived alone; the other Valar were partners to one another.
Ulmo, the ruler of the waters, dwells in the depths of the sea and does not live with the Valar in Valinor. He only travels to Valinor briefly for important Valar meetings and other crucial occasions.
Oromi, the god of forests and hunting, also had a great love for the land of Middle-earth and often rode there to hunt Morgoth's minions, rather than staying in Valinor all the time.
After the elves awoke in Queveda, Oromie was the first to discover them and invited them to live in Valinor.
Besides the 14 most powerful Valar, Valinor also has quite a few Maia.
They, like the Valar, originated from the Aenu and assisted in governing the world of Arda as Valar students and assistants.
There are many Maiar, and even among Maiar, their strength varies and their forms differ. Even Gandalf (Orolin), who loves making friends, cannot recognize all of the Maiar.
For example, Saurondor, the King of Eagles and Viraman's messenger, is himself a Maiar in the form of a giant eagle. There are also other Maiar who are invisible and exist only as spirits. Even when they are near elves and humans, the latter have difficulty seeing or noticing their presence.
The Maya vary in strength and power, with some being stronger than others.
The leader of the Maiar was Eonwe, who served Manwë, the leader of the Valar, and was Manwë's messenger. He was also exceptionally powerful, having led the Valar army to defeat Morgoth's forces in the War of Wrath, and had Morgoth, a Valar of rank, bound with chains forged by Aul, the god of craftsmen.
It is a powerful Maiar whose strength is infinitely close to that of a Vera.
Secondly, Sauron, before his fall, was also a top-tier Maiar, apprenticed to Auril, the god of craftsmen, and forged the One Ring, which nearly brought Middle-earth under his rule.
If he hadn't been defeated in the War of Wrath and subsequently silenced after the fall of the Númenórean Empire, and thus punished by the Valar by being stripped of most of his power, there probably wouldn't have been anyone in Middle-earth who could defeat him.
There's also Gandalf (Orolin), who was a top-tier Maiar, although his power was restricted in Middle-earth, making his combat abilities mediocre, even inferior to powerful elves.

The Time-Turner is a time-twisting magical artifact accidentally invented by ancient wizards in the Harry Potter world. It can turn back time, allowing people to go back a few hours to the past.
Dui couldn't imagine how those wizards could discover and use such a magical artifact that touched the laws of time and could turn back time.
After all, with his current level of magic, he has far surpassed the likes of Dumbledore, Voldemort, and Grindelwald in the Harry Potter world, and even the four founders of Hogwarts and Merlin, who is often mentioned in the wizarding world.
