Using the imprisoned Magnus fragments, the severely weakened psionic family fled to a remote star system, where they began to attach themselves to powerful figures, gaining wealth and power while evading the Empire's surveillance.

But that wasn't their main goal—they had been trying to use Magnus fragments to enhance their psionic abilities, and after that, every newborn in the family was Alpha-level.

At the same time, they collected and strangled the soulless in order to continue stabilizing and transferring the magic circle.

The family kept a close watch on the psionic archetype. There were times when suspicious glances were cast at the area, but these glances were quickly eliminated by the psionicists.

As the power contained within the Magnus fragment dwindled, the number of newborns in the family decreased, and the magic circle became increasingly unstable...

Even Tyrion's shadow appeared over this star system.

The good news is that the magic circle has prevented Tyrion from visiting.

“Power,” Randy said hoarsely, “scorned by mortals, hunted by the Black Ships, questioned by the Grey Knights, we have experienced years of being trampled into the mud, and we know that absolute strength is the only truth.”

"Now the absolute truth has come to kill you,"

Blake suddenly spoke up.

The psionicist chuckled, but his trembling voice betrayed him. "Therefore I have no regrets! Compared to those arrogant trash who call themselves soulless, I love hearing their shrill voices—"

Blake swung his axe, and Hades casually wiped the blood from his face.

“Black,” Hades sighed helplessly, “stop fooling around when you’ve had your fun.”

Blake stood quietly in place, continuing to focus on his own thoughts.

The psionicist in front of him instantly collapsed to the ground, but to Blake's surprise, the psionicist did not die.

"You want me to be angry?"

Hades said calmly, but without waiting for the psionicist's reply, he continued to mutter to himself, "I am indeed angry, but I don't think I'm the angrier one."

Hades looked at the crimson stone between his fingers; the stone was shimmering, burning hot—

Hades sighed again.

"I think you want revenge?"

The stone lit up, answering Hades' question.

“Come out,” Hades said calmly. “I will not use the Dark Domain to devour you.”

He casually tossed a stone, and with a flash of intense psionic energy, a furious crimson giant appeared before Hades.

"Mortal!" Magnus roared almost insanely, his crimson hair bristling like fire. "You sinner who has deceived me for a thousand years! You only used me as a tool?! You even almost erased everything about me in your confessions?!"

Magnus's appearance lessened the oppressive atmosphere of the Dark Realm, and then the psionicist burst into maniacal laughter.

"It's just that-"

He laughed loudly, "The Primarch and the Underworld—"

The psionicist sensed Black's gaze behind him, his voice abruptly changing, "The Primarch is nothing special!!!"

Before he could finish speaking, Magnus's psionic energy surged forth in front of him.

A violent arc of electricity erupted, illuminating almost the entire area. Flames instantly coiled around the psionicist's body, and amidst the blinding psionic flames, the psionicist screamed loudly.

Magnus slowly raised his hand.

Behind him, the dazzling crimson reflected in Hades' eyes. Hades tilted his head and called out,

“Magnus, don’t forget the comatose Lord of the Nest City.”

For some reason, Hades had the strange feeling that he had thrown a Poké Ball.

Two more, that's it... Yay!!!

Chapter 564 Earning Him to Enlist

The screams and violent roars subsided, and after a long silence, Hades, who had closed his eyes and slumped in his chair, seemingly asleep, nodded.

"...Okay, how many hours has it been?"

Hades muttered something, then opened his eyes to find the scene a mess. Magnus turned to the side, looking at Hades with a complicated expression.

Hades spread his hands. "Don't look at me. Don't you psionicists have any magic that can clear the ground in a flash?"

Standing at the door, Blake silently kicked the lifeless head back in disgust.

Magnus took a deep breath, another breath so deep it almost suffocated the Primarch, and then he spoke.

Psychic power... isn't for such trivial matters.

"I remember you just promised me I could do whatever I wanted with you?"

【Fuck you!!!】

Magnus let out a loud bang, and the Primarch resignedly turned around, raised his hand, and psionic arcs crackled on his arm.

A fissure opened right next to the floor, as if there was a great gravitational pull within the crack, slowly swallowing up flesh and bone fragments.

Then came the water, surging and carrying the remaining debris into the crack.

After all the bones were gone, the rift closed, and Magnus turned around, staring at Hades, who seemed lost in thought.

Hades didn't say anything. Hades looked up at Black.

“Black, go to the front of the ship and inform Tees to take over the ship.”

"Tell her to bring everyone with her; a lot of people have died on this ship."

Blake nodded and hurriedly left.

Magnus, however, stared at Hades in astonishment.

I thought you wouldn't kill indiscriminately, but you killed them all—

Hades laughed, as if recalling something amusing. "This ship is full of gene stealers. I spent quite a bit of time just now trying to identify them."

"If they hadn't been so clueless about what was in the ship's secret chamber, these gene stealers would probably have already started a rebellion."

Hades blinked, sizing up Magnus. Should he have Magnus turn back into his original form and chat with him? Hades wasn't quite used to not having the stone disc yet.

Hades pondered for a moment,

"Magnus, did you betray us back then or not?"

These words completely ignited Magnus. The Primarch was practically enraged; his red hair blazed like fire, and a blinding white light pierced from his single eye. The surging psionic energy enveloped the red-skinned giant like a storm. At this moment, he stared at Hades, solemnly delivering his defense.

Loyalty was a constant throughout Magnus's life.

The Primarch raised his head and said,

Hades' expression immediately turned serious. He stood up and looked intently at Magnus.

“I’m sorry, Magnus, I feel ashamed for thinking before that you betrayed yourself to Chaos—”

【stop! 】

Magnus, which had been swollen like a raging fire, instantly withered and disappeared into the wilderness like a fleeting firework, leaving only ashes after it had been burned to ashes.

Hades frowned, looking at Magnus with a puzzled expression. Magnus, who was now dull and even smaller than before, stood out starkly on the polished floor.

Magnus coughed awkwardly a few times, puffed out his chest, and whispered in a voice Hades could barely hear him,

Loyalty does not mean the absence of moral corruption.

???

Hades began to question what he was hearing. He frowned and stared intently at Magnus, as if the person standing before him was truly a fantastical pony from a magical world.

"What did you say???"

Hades said, instinctively taking a step forward, while Magnus guiltily averted his gaze. A few seconds later, he looked back at Hades, still standing imposingly.

Though my true form has fallen, Magnus remains loyal—until his soul is completely corrupted by chaos, Magnus will remain forever loyal.

Hades blinked and asked uncertainly, "What exactly happened on Fenris back then?"

Hades' question instantly put Magnus at ease. The Primarch grinned, a smile bordering on arrogance on pride. "That's a good question," he said.

Magnus casually glanced back in the direction Blake had left, smoothed his disheveled hair, and a hint of smugness lingered on his lips, tinged with bitterness.

【I need time to answer your question—won't you let your little brat come and hear the story of the Crimson King, Hades?】

Hades raised an eyebrow. Interesting. He received the radio waves from the Tess ship. Since there was still some time, why not listen?

“Okay,” Hades said, opening a private communication channel. “Black, come quick, I think you need a little moral education right now.”

"Yes, Father."

On the other end of the channel, Blake responded in a muffled voice. Hades thought for a moment, "Never mind, let's find a place to eat and drink and meet up."

----------

The light bulb emitted a greasy glow. Blake shoved the corpses lying on the bar counter, the Genestealers' bodies scattered on the ground. Hades glanced at them.

Didn't expect even gene stealers to come for a drink? Hades looked up and glanced at the sign hanging on the open bar; this looked like a corner where they gathered.

Hades skillfully crafted a stool from scrap metal, casually tossing the red stone onto the low wooden counter. Magnus appeared with a shriek, then immediately moved away from the bar with disgust.

"Can you drink something—no,"

Hades' voice changed direction, "Magnus, can you shrink us? This bar is too small."

"You're dreaming!" Magnus shouted angrily. "I cast a spell on you?! And you decided to listen to the legends of the Crimson King here?!"

"But there's wine here."

Hades said in a smug, sarcastic tone, "Aren't you going to have a drink?"

Magnus stood rooted to the spot, staring at Hades, swearing an oath of dignity, a silent protest.

However, neither of them paid him any attention. After simply moving the body aside, Blake skillfully stepped over the bar, bent down to rummage through the bottles, while Hades turned his head, waiting in a good mood for his offspring to find something good.

Magnus only sighed after Black filled the barrel in Hades' hands with wine. He walked over in frustration, patted the bar, and under Hades' envious gaze, the bar instantly grew to the size of the Primarch.

With a clang, Blake raised the largest crystal goblet high and smashed it in front of Magnus.

"What would you like to drink?" Blake glanced at Hades, who had already begun sipping his wine and nodded slightly in good spirits.

"What would you like to drink, sir?"

Magnus's accusation caught in his throat. "Fruit wine will do, preferably grape wine," the Primarch said, raising his head slightly and picking up a cheap glass from the greasy bar with disdain.

Black filled Magnus's glass, while the Primarch watched with a complicated expression as the Dark Child mixed various liquors together without batting an eye—simply to fill the glass.

Hades raised his glass to Magnus and joked,

"Tell me your story, Crimson King. I believe you will not disappoint me."

【nature!】

Magnus said proudly.

-------------

"Magnus—Magnus!"

With tears streaming down his face, Hades put his arm around Magnus, slammed his glass down on the bar, and then raised it high again.

The semi-cloudy liquor splashed out, appearing like flowing gold in the dim light.

Hades raised his glass high.

"Homage—hiccup, great Magnus, the crimson king of mankind!"

Blake, behind the bar, also raised his glass. Magnus watched the two lunatics with a twitching eye, but it was indeed a glorious achievement he had made; there was nothing to deny about it.

And his soul remained burning hot; the past glories always stirred the Primarch's blood, and even the harsh winter of Fenris could not extinguish it. This was Magnus's great achievement.

Magnus slapped Hades' hand, solemnly raised his glass,

[A toast to myself!]

He drank the liquid garbage, Magnus deliberately shutting down his sense of taste, wondering how Hades could tolerate such garbage.

boom!

Hades abruptly put down the wine barrel, stood up, and stared intently at Magnus.

“In other words, Magnus,” Hades continued, trying to persuade Magnus to have another drink, but Magnus skillfully avoided Hades.

"Even when you were imprisoned by Leman Russ, Fenris was directly exposed to his gaze, and you yourself were completely under his watchful eye, with no one believing you, you still managed to turn the tables on him!"
